Still a BUY. Target price $71.53. Marketwatch round up lists 18 small-cap stocks that analysts expect to rise at least 50% in 2018. LITE is on the list expected to go up 52% from today's price of $47.15. They gave it a target price of $71.53.
Shaw still going strong. Still has his autobuys set. 11/27, 11/28, 11/29, 11/30, 12/1, and 12/4 adding stock.

Price target: 0.349 PPS. TRTC will close the year out at 10% higher PPS than last year. That's what somebody here posted awhile back and it makes sense. Which means the PPS needs to rise up to that point, and how better than for news or *rumors* to raise the price.
The logic was that it looks better for a stock to close out a year higher than the year before. Totally believable.
So if it closed out at 0.3175 and you add 10%, it needs to rise to 0.34925 to achieve that goal.
I tried to find the post predicting a rise to 10% over last year's close out PPS to give that person credit. But you guys post so prolifically that it disappeared in the pages of time

They've been around awhile with ups and downs. But even in the downs, they've never done an R/S. Right now they're about as low as they've ever been. They hit bottom one time before in 2009, and then started climbing up over the course of the next six years to hit $5.70 in 2015 from the .43 of 2009.
After that it went down again. I believe it will go back up. I'm not planning to stick around for six years looking for the great heights. I'll be perfectly happy to hold out for a few dimes more per share :D
He kicked off 2017 by buying 2 million shares in January. And another 1 million on August 23. After that he set it up to automatically buy shares, although the amounts vary radically. Starting October 23, it looks as though he's buying in every single day, or close to it.
As to his motives, it's pure speculation.
I'm speculating on a profit from this stock. Your results may differ
I'm up 29-cents a share, up and out
I've been in before, too, profitably. Not that I'd ever fall in love with a stock. Taboo, that. But I expect a tidy profit from this go-round.
Insider buying. That's another reason I bought into this stock. Insiders have been buying all the month of November. Heck, they were buying before that. Nice bouncy chart, too
11/17: More Shaw buys. On 11/13, 11/14, 11/16.

I like stocks that have a "solid" product that you can hold in your hand. Not big on products that exist solely in the minds of men. Even telecomm stocks, they exist only in the airwaves. Not saying I don't own any insubstantial stocks, but I do prefer having the solid base.
Yup. I'm loading XPL. I like the chart. I like the odds. And I like the 4K's of insider buying.

I'm out at 30-cents a share profit. Nice way to start the day! I can't believe how fast it shot up. Closed yesterday at 1.20 -- flurry of activity in the wee hours -- opened at 1.55 -- WOO!
11/10: Shaw buys again! More buys on 11/9 and 11/10.
Insider buying. Two form 4s posted yesterday. One of them bought 100,000 shares.
I never buy expecting a quick resale. While I've had stocks sell the same week, I usually end up holding anywhere from 1-3 months. I'm more of a "month-trader" than a "day-trader" -- lol! Averaging out my last 10 sales, average holding time was 35 days, with a spread from 5 days to 74 days.
Surwin, I know about trade secrets. Not Validian's, but the concept of theft itself which is very real. Piracy and theft are big business, especially in the software biz. It takes years to develop a piece of software, and if the competition can reverse-engineer it, all they've got to do is spin the code a bit differently to steal years of your hard work. That's truth. And it's real.
The other reality in the software biz is that marketing beats quality. The crappiest software takes the biggest market share simply with better, more aggressive marketing. That's how Microsnot beat out Apple. That's why Mac isn't the computer on everybody's desk. They had a better product, a gazillion times over.
Another reality in the software biz is in the reviews. The company who can get away with the most sleaze in trashing its competitor with bogus bad reviews usually wins. Especially in today's atmosphere where all good reviews are "suspect" and the rotters get a free pass, even when so many are bogus.
11/7: Thomas Shaw buys again! More insider buys on 11/6 and 11/7. He's not buying all at once, he's buying in small quantities almost every day. So I ask again: What's he up to? What does he know?
11/3: Price target $3.75 (CIBC World Markets)
And the bad news for the day... it's there, but I'll let you guys wrangle it out. I can see that lots of folks are dancing with glee in hopes of the price tanking so that they can buy in Super Cheap. Well, you've got your ammo.

Now it's 64/4 mil B/A... the price might not be moving, but there sure are a lot of eyes on VLDI right now.
Look at the B/A... 34 million/4 million. Woo!
