Could last weekend's COOP 1 year estimate of over $3,000 be a freudian type slip of what shares could be if COOP receives 2.5% of a possible recovery?? It was probably just a typing mistake but makes you wonder.

I also talked to someone at Fidelity this afternoon. The representative did not have a lot of information to share. He just kept repeating that they are null, void, worthless, expired. He also said instructions to remove came from DTC and that it was in the plan to remove them once they were expired.
No dollar amount associated with the removed markers.
I hope that's the case. We should all know for sure soon.
Anyone know what people are saying over on the other message board?
Yep, pretty sad.
But I guess if their purpose was only for the LT distributions which are now completed, and empty, I guess they are no longer needed?? I've just never had markers disappear - they were always renamed.
Let's hope this isn't the end and that there is another tracking system.
Ughhhh
Gone. I've never had a marker completely removed. This is a first.
They just updated mine. They now show as 939ESC992 WMIH Corp PFD "Expired Position." The amount of shares owned still shows as 500.
Mine are still in my account at Fidelity.
I've never had a marker completely removed. They were always renamed and changed to an inactive/completed status, but remain as proof.
My question was for converstion purposes. I'm sure many of us on this
message board appreciate reminders, especially updates, from those researching.
In your opinion, what do you think will happen to the Js and Ps?
Happy New Year to Everyone.
Let's hope this is the year we FINALLY see a return on the investments we made years ago.
I noticed a slight change to the P marker a couple of months ago. In my account (Fidelity), the preferred marker no longer drops down - it is shaded and does not open - it's frozen. I tested this on 3 different devices and it's the same on all - no dropdown box like before. I do still see the amount of shares listed (500 Ps). This is what I see when I hover over the marker: WASHINGTON MUT INC NON CUMULATIVE PERP CONV PD SER R ESCROW FROM CUSIP 939322814 **REORGANIZATION**.
My Lehman Js and Ps have dropdown boxes and info and look as if they are getting ready to trade at some point, but this may not mean anything.
Thank you to all Veterans for your service and sacrifice to this great country.
Me too, I own ONE share of COOP. I had 10,000 shares, but had to sell them years ago to help with my kids' college expenses. Bummer. Wishing now I had made more of an effort to avoid tapping into COOP. The kids come first though, always, and it was worth every penny.
There's still escrow: 500Ps and a bunch of Lehman. They are still listed, so it's just a matter of waiting a bit longer, hopefully...
I interpreted the change from $600B to $10B+ as a way to keep the real number confidential. It does not mean the greater number isn't accurate. Who knows - it could even be more than $600B. They just don't want the real numbers exposed at this time. That's just my interpretation.
I believe it was there. I'm not calling you a liar. I'm just sharing my experience. I would love for it to be a sign of great things to come. In my case, it turned out to be a system glitch - big bummer!
I'm just suggesting in my opinion, it may be best to remain cautiously optimistic a little longer until there is concrete evidence of money/shares headed our way. We are so ready for that to happen. I know I am!

Years ago, something similar happened to one of my old penny stocks. It was showing a gain of $25,000. It unfortunately turned out to be a glitch.
Thanks again, greatly appreciated. Go WAMU and Lehman!! We are ALL sooo ready for something positive to happen with both.
Mary
Hello - I can't private message. Thanks so much for thinking of me. If more names are needed, I'll think about joining. I don't want to do anything that may interfere with escrows. I can't contribute financially to this if that's a requirement. I still hold 7,500 CTs and a bunch of escrows (2,000 Ps and 30,800 Js).
I'm not going to argue about transportation and gas prices. Just reporting what I see and what I along with other commuters and coworkers are currently experiencing. Many people are still working from home and using Zoom instead of travel. Traffic congestion on the highway is not yet the nightmare it used to be, but it's slowy moving in that direction.
Let's hope escrows see something soon. If the market crashes, I want to be prepared to invest a little.
Not much business travel going on yet. It's starting to come back slowly. Public transportation is limited. More is needed, soon, if they expect people to transition from working from home to back to the big cities. I can see gas easily going to $6 when that happens.
I think gas prices are going to be a trigger. We are already paying $3.50ish per gallon and nothing's even running yet as in trains, buses, planes, etc. Commuter services are still at about 25%. People are just now starting to travel for business, but not much. We also have college loans starting back up in the fall.
Let's go COOP...
Thank you. To you as well and to everyone who took a risk on this stock so many years ago.
A big thanks to those who share documents and links. I may not be the best at accurately interpreting the information, but it's still greatly appreciated.
Yep, that would suck after all these years of waiting.
There's still hope, escrows are still in our accounts. If it was over for them, they would have been changed to an inactive type status like a couple of my other old, no longer active, stocks.
Same with Lehman, still escrow status.
You are correct. I went back and read the complaint. It states the MBS would be given to Mr Cooper by 6/30 and Mr Cooper stock would be disbursed by brokers, something like that, according to the source. It doesn't say when it would be disbursed. In addition to stock, 2.5x par in cash. I guess it's not over yet.
I could be wrong, but I believe the court docs that were shared mentioned something like a possible payment 6/30 of 2.5x for Ps. But like I said, I could wrong.
If there is money left for escrow, I guess we'll see it at some point.
Just a few weeks ago we were eagerly looking forward to a possible distribution to escrows the end of June...
I think money all gone.
I still can't understand why the rush for an emergency court hearing. They really wanted Alice out of the way.
I thought Ps can collect back interest but not dividends. Maybe I misunderstood.
So far the only one with a correct answer is the Magic 8 ball - NO payment 6/30. LOL
I also asked if I'd become a millionaire in 2021. The answer was - Without a doubt. Let's hope it's right about that too.
The court's mad rush to get Alice out of the way, made it feel like they were preparing for something soon...false alarm.
We ALL lost money. We would ALL like to see a return on our investment. We are ALL really tired of waiting for a possible return.
No one is celebrating...yet.
Looks like LG's $299B footnote minus liabilities.
I'm sure I'm wrong.
Bad day??
In my home, "A" for effort.
$272B remaining in assets???
Oh bummer
Hopefully not just for commons.
Yayyyyyy!!! I want to insert a smiley face, but don't know how to do that here. Maybe they find more. LOL
This is getting very interesting!
Thank you very much for sharing with everyone.
Have a great day.
Makes sense.
Let's go COOP, show us a sign.
Thank you very much. It sounds reasonable.
I'll be honest, since I sold my 25,000 commons one week before they became escrows (bummer), I would love to see the large numbers coming back to Ps, but I just can't see that happening, but who knows...
The scenario/possible returns you provide if true will still be life changing. I remain cautiously optimistic about the next couple of months.
Thanks again for your time and willingness to share your thoughts based on your research.
Thank you for your research and sharing your opinion on what you believe the escrow holders could be receiving at some point.
In your opinion, would the escrows continue to generate income/payments into the future for escrow holders or would it be a onetime payment of what is owed?
