Or their patent is truly just that solid.
I mean, I could have managed the 1927 Yankees to a World Series victory. Doesn't mean I'd deserve the credit.
Not to say these lawyers aren't talented, but perhaps their real talent lies in selecting cases they know they're very unlikely to lose.
I'll take it either way.
So, you think Carter wouldn't settle for anything less than a one billion dollar settlement? Considering his stake in the company, I'd imagine he'd be pretty pleased with quite a bit less.
Why has the court continually decided in favor of ChanBond if it's a patent troll? I'm having trouble understanding. Please explain using small words.
That's some real solid analysis. Thanks for the post.
I'm not sensitive in the least bit. All I want is to come here and read relevant information about UOIP, which is quite sparse.
Saying nonsense like, "It's doing awful today." or, "It's looking really well today." don't mean anything, and I don't see the purpose in even bothering.
There's no substance to the posts or no interpretation of the activity.
"This may indicate that..." or, "This type of activity may mean..." would be interpretations of what's going on. I'm merely stating that this would be a much more useful board if the trolls were ignored and people restricted their postings to words of substance or legitimate questions and responses.
I'll start with myself now.
These types of posts are just as worthless as the garbage spewed by people like Dr. Evil or Hi_Lo.
Please, provide substance, or why even bother posting?
People keep using this board as a chat room. Nothing's good, nor is it bad, unless it accompanies substance such as court information.
Yes, you wouldn't know it from the flood of morons spamming the board, though. It's still in just as strong a position as it's ever been, in my opinion.
Ignore commenting on an office address and phone number, and restrict yourself to the court proceedings: What about this case indicates to you that UOIP is a scam?
If UOIP is a scam, what reason would they have for perpetuating that scam in a judicial manner?
If you can come up with a reason for the aforementioned question, why would they continue to run this "scam" for what is approaching two years, I believe?
If it is a scam, why would ChanBond select an accomplished, expensive attorney such as Robert Whitman to represent them? Wouldn't it be just as effective to hire a cheap, no-name lawyer considering that representation isn't exactly common knowledge?
Robert Whitman, who's spent his career in IP law: Is he in on the scam? Why would he tarnish his reputation to go along with this scam?
I look forward to reading your answers.
So, the patent infringement case brought by Chanbond -- a presumably costly and time-consuming expenditure -- is merely a scam to bilk a few thousand dollars from a handful of investors?
That makes you sound as stupid as you look.
Why don't you focus more of your efforts on what you think could produce a return for yourself and less time on telling people what a poor decision you think they've made? You're like that guy who says, "If only I'd have wagered X, I would have made Y."
No one is impressed by you, and no one wants your input. So, take your mid-90s, Eastern-European style and go somewhere else.
At best, at your very best, the most you get out of your posts would be an "I told you so". However, if that day ever actually came, I doubt there'd be anywhere here to even read it, because no one wants to waste their time following a company they found (or presumed) to be a scam.
We can block you? Please, tell me how.
What conceivable reason would they do that for?
Even if that's the best they've got, why would they bother with a proven losing strategy?
Then why don't you go away and quit posting on this board? Nobody is betting their life savings on this. Maybe a few grand given the possible upside. If it tanks, no one is going to be on the street, if it wins, it has the possibility of being pretty big.
Just go away. You're wasting your time along with the time of everyone else who reads your posts. You contribute nothing.
Why are you even here? I don't understand it.
The people who are investing here are evaluating this stock's potential based solely on its (so far) success patent defense and likeliness of a company buyout or settlement.
What do you hope to accomplish? There can be some fun in being a troll, but why not reach a larger audience? There's maybe ten people here who read your nonsense where you could be focusing your efforts on the comment section of a popular YouTube video and reach a much larger audience.
In the event that you weren't a troll, again, what are you doing? If you evaluate UOIP to be a poor investment, why would you waste any time at all coming back here every day and posting some nonsense?
What would make someone do that?
I don't understand how filing an appeal would make this less desirable to hold on to unless they absolutely have no patience. In that case, though, why get involved to begin with?
Just curious on your thoughts.
Unless you own a crystal ball, every trade is speculation, genius.
How do you interpret that?
You're one of the few people who contribute useful information to this board supported by evidence. I'd be interested to read your opinion.
Go away.
Since when do CEOs spend their time taking calls, let alone returning calls, from strangers with whom they've never had any previous contact?
Probably anyone with two brain cells to rub together would have thought that.
Nothing is due in court until July 31.
If you tell a class their homework is due July 31, they're not going to turn it in three weeks early.
Why do people like you always feel like you know what moves the market? People trade on noise because they're stupid. Stupider people think they can explain that noise.
No one even knows what UOIP is. If they're unaware of the pending patent litigation, how do you think they'd know to find some sub-penny stock because of a cyber attack?
Look at the total volume moved and the amount of money associated with it. Is the thought process, "Oh, cyber attack. Let me go buy stock in a sub-penny company that doesn't release information to shareholders and is tagged with a skull and crossbones."
Stop flooding this board with nonsense and stick to relevant information - of which there is none.
Have you tried checking this board yet?
Wechselberger wasn't deposed on June 30th. So, no.
If you're referring to Scott Nettles, the answer is again, no. My understanding is that information will not be publicly available until July 31st.
And how will his input be truly known without publication of his deposition?
Very well done, Gmc2020.
Best of luck. I hope things work out. I'm late to the game compared to you. I only just jumped in this week, but it looks like I'm at least on time to the party.
Why would anyone sell?
I can't comprehend why anyone is selling UOIP right now. Any guesses?
If you own UOIP to begin with, how would you be unaware of what's going on?
Just curious.
