If there are no forms saying he sold then he didn’t sell. Form 3 or 4 would have to be filed
Let’s hope so
Toronto, ON, Aug. 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Amfil Technologies Inc. (OTC Pink: AMFE) is pleased to announce that Snakes & Lattes has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to open a Snakes & Lattes location by way of a Joint Venture partnership in Charlotte, North Carolina. The partnership arose from the company’s recent visit to the area.
IMO sector getting hit hard and I believe ACB is still selling shares.
You don’t know where the second location in the US will be? There hasn’t been one listed in a PR or tweet or both?
Thanks guys.
Congrats to everyone who stuck it out. Been a long time coming. Onward and upward.
Back to the sidelines
Then one would be an idiot....
There are new revenue streams during Q4 that weren’t fully active during Q3. Plus, given our seasonal (let me repeat that word SEASONAL) business revenue will naturally go up as we go through spring/summer and more people are going out, retailers have depleted all inventory purchased during the holidays, no more holiday returns and exchanges to deal with. And this doesn’t even take into account publishing, when the Gro3 order will ship and we can recognize the revenue from that, any new exclusive titles we just got from Hub or Morning and the list goes on
“Fins are down as a Percentage vs Percentage, Q v Q, YOY....”
Not even REMOTELY true.
FY 2017- $6.6M.
3/4 of the way through 2018 $11.6M...
Where’s the logic?
As did I. Real company with real brick and mortar locations and 1000’s of positive reviews. I actually have another call scheduled with the US expansion team today to discuss our next steps for the Carolinas.
Numerous people here have visited all the SL locations. Several even stopped in and sent pictures of the Midtown construction.
How could he get it from someone who isn’t living?
Actually Roger’s father passed away years ago. He saw the board that was left was doing nothing with the company so he approached them to take over the Pub Co. after they agreed he restructured did a reverse merger of IK and started making acquisitions....
His Daddy didn’t give it to him as you say.
So when SL makes an acquisition, opens a new location or launches a new self published game (all happening right now or within the last few weeks) that’s old news? One division growing 1000s of percent in front of our very eyes is old news?
That was before he flipped his 1000 shares for a 30% gain. Could have made more working at McDonald’s for a week
Why do you need a PR? There is a picture of the SL leader in front of the new space holding the keys and another picture of the inside being renovated. What else do you need?
And as they fill out the drawing ticket you get customer data! SL newsletter, game deals, coupons etc
Even if the Corp owned locations didn’t do it. If I owned a franchise I would definitely do that to boost retail game sales in my store.
I agree. Do a “Kill the unicorns” or which ever game is first, launch party at all locations (hopefully Tempe is open by then). Have food/drinks specials and you cover charge can go towards the purchase of a copy the game that night in the retail store.
Except Roger wouldn’t make hardly anything even if he was pumping because:
1) his shares have been converted to preferred as part of reducing the AS and OS
2) even if he had shares he could sell... he couldn’t sell more than 1% of the weekly trading volume. SEC Rule 144. And with the low volume for the last several months that’s nothing. Point being if he want to scam and make money wouldn’t he just keep putting out fluffy PRs and never mention an audit (voluntary). Like several others that mention an audit then never mention it again for years?
https://www.sec.gov/reportspubs/investor-publications/investorpubsrule144htm.html
Found it. And yes I agree with you. In fact there are a lot of items in this PR below that I bet we see updates on after the audit/uplist.
“Acquisition of a company that would assist with synergizing the internal workings of each subsidiary to prepare for large scale expansion and franchising opportunities -- This company specializes in processes that automate the completion of financial reporting, tax compliance and streamlines the large scale purchasing, accounts receivable / payables and the many other systems needed for multiple locations and businesses. Related to this, a software suite which includes wait-list management, tip pooling, employee scheduling, pay software, shipping, inventory and most importantly the POS system has been internally developed and perfected. This acquisition deal is still in the works, and management has set a benchmark of having 5 Snakes & Lattes locations up and running before completing this acquisition and beginning to franchise the brand.”

It was around when they were talking about initial franchising plans and providing management software as part of the franchise package I believe... still looking
But I did forget about this one from the 3/4/18 PR. We saw one of the acquisitions just happen. The second?
Potential Acquisitions:
Snakes & Lattes Inc. is currently in initial discussions with two companies that have expressed interest to be acquired by Snakes & Lattes Inc. The first is one of the largest board game distributors in Canada, and the second is a distributor and publisher in Europe. As the company expands into the USA, the company will be looking at a potential acquisition of a distributor in a key location in the USA, in addition to our own planned distribution center in Chicago, IL. The strengthened US distribution arm would serve as a satellite to complement the initial Northern offices and warehouse in Chicago, and the South Western presence in Arizona.
Not only that Ryan and Roger have been friends for much longer than that....
Who do you think distributes the game to the Canadian WalMarts?
Yes there is a lot to the story and what the board of his other distribution company board did to cut him out while away. So now you have a dedicated man who knows distribution, the clientele and is out for a little bit of revenge it seems. I believe NSI comes back strong than it was before the accident
You are correct he is still alive. He was nearly cut in half from the accident and there was a long road to recover which is part of the reason for being away from NSI for so long
Always nice to here from you. Can’t wait to hear more about Tempe and the other US expansion opportunities.
It was a fake FB account posting in the comments. The DD they posted was a website that could be edited by anyone.
I didn’t need any more shares but even the flippers should see through this one.
A $38M market cap for a company that has done $12M in 3 Quarters and already grown 100% over last years revenues is crazy. Especially since:
- a new location will be open in a few months
- we just acquired a publishing company and have 3-4 games to take to market
- very little dilution, the AS and OS have actually decreased this year
These are all things we can see. There are lots more catalysts coming but these are verifiable today.
Yeah I was thinking noda, south end or plaza midwood. It all really depends on what the research shows.
Things are good. We are looking to schedule time this summer to tour Charlotte and the surrounding areas to see if we can find a fit. Things are going to start progressing much faster now that someone is leading the US expansion. He also has a ton of applicants/ investors to look through that applied months ago. The slowest part is finding the actual location to lease or buy.
I almost cried when LV$& made that announcement haha
Yep. A lot of the big banks hold Italian bonds.
Exactly. People are missing the real potential here. We now have 3 games getting prepared to launch... these could be much bigger than Gro contracts, SL locations etc. IMO Look at the Cards Against Humanity guys. They didn’t do their own distribution and they have more money than they know what to do with from one game and expansion packs.
You are correct. The actual retailer will get 50%+ margins. But the fact that we are now everything from design through distribution 20-25% of the over all sales revenue will come directly to us instead of the 5-10% a distributor usually gets
Exactly. It’s right there in that article (which is an independent 3rd party) the game is ready to go and already been sent to print. It will be ready be for the holidays....
Has any one been listening to Rockets DD on this? Exploding Kittens did 50M in its first year. If this game has just a quarter of that success we will double our yearly revenues... and again this is just a small part of our business. A lot to look forward to here
