hahaha arvitar, that was well put. i took a way-to-big bet on (out of the money) puts after the +20% after earnings jump, and the puts expire on friday....I'm hoping people realize soon that you're right ; )
Anyone have any idea what has happened the last day and a half?
Why did this shoot up? Chegg announced a public offering valued at 13.50 a share....
Thanks for your validation, trueheart, but im pretty sure freedom of opinion is not a civil right.
Was just curious if anyone thought similarly. Its no secret that the pps growth has far outpaced revenue growth, that NVDA is cnbc's darling stock, and that more established companies (with comparable % revenue growth) working on AI and self driving technology have seen much smaller pps growth.
Initiated short position, based on my perception that the stock is overpriced.
All three dropped in what time frame? FB just reached its highest point ever, I don't know what you mean by death spiral, just trying to understand
NYCPuglet, what does that mean? FB and AAPL are doing quite well..
Anyone have any idea why it crashed after hours? From what I read about the earnings call, it sounds like good news wall to wall.
I see from time and sales that it peaked around 5:23 at $77, stayed steady, and then started dropping on low size, with people buying into the ask (about 50k shares total) until 5:32, more heavy buying through the ask, and then 18k traded $2 below the NBB at 5:35, hit 76 at 6:04, 75 at 6:13, then dropped like a brick. The drop could be unimportant, but its still unusual.
Haha some of us aren't bozo's! I googled HYBE stock pump and didnt find anything, went to the ihub page and just saw lots of people talking about a pump, and a spike on the graph a couple years ago..was that the pump?
Luckily, I ditched the TWTR puts after the first day I was wrong (~+1%), but still interested in some august puts. I wonder if, given the "SNAP-pan-fryer" scenario, investors will be especially sensitive to earnings because they've been burned by the same kind of thing before?
TWTR broke through resistance ~ 19.93, 'Fast Money' featured it with a BUY rating, closed positive, up 0.10% after hours....expecting upward acceleration on the open.
Interesting that it took a research firm to bring this problem to twitter's attention...I would think a 90,000 large network of sexbots would be hard to miss!
what does that mean?
Took a short position on this yesterday due to overbought indications in RSI, money flow index and (slightly) klinger oscillator, anyone else entering a position on this right around now?
I just took a short position on this, due to technically overbought condition (90 day klinger oscillator, RSI, and money flow) and due to the fact that their product line seems to be under attack by smart watches. Anyone else doing something similar? Or different?
Very good point. SNAP seems to be the closest analog, and when SNAPs user growth declined drastically, so did its stock price.
Jackpotz, do you have any information or thoughts on that which make you bullish? To me, the MAU plot seems to be approaching an asymptote, except for a bumb in Q1 2017 which is possibly due to Trump's "advertisement" of the platform.

Well, thanks, but you don't exactly appear to be a dispassionate observer on these boards xD do you have a large short position?
I was among the put buyers. I made that trade because money flow and RSI indicate overbought, I think earnings will be weak, TWTR seems to be in the neighborhood of a historical price ceiling, I believe negative SNAP PR has made TWTR look shinier, and accumulation-distribution changes have not mirrored price changes, which indicates to me that a high-volume event is in the near future and suggests that it will be negative.
Bought some calls on the basis of attractive money flow and accumulation characteristics + RSI. News also seems good, good earnings growth, and decent ratings. Anyone else in GRMN?
Didn't know about Mylan...thanks Johnny. It'll be interesting to see how this unfolds.
This one got upgraded by S&PGR, Evercore ISI Group and JP Morgan today, but only 0.46% up. Anyone have any insight into why?
Interesting. It has certainly had a history.
I'm kind of confused about why VRX has been propelled so far with what seems to be no big news: a new CEO (so what?) and a division sold to pay off a fraction of a huge debt load (so what?).
Aside from the CEO's massive purchase of shares some weeks ago, why are people buying this? Revenue has been decreasing quarterly, and if you remove the 15B "goodwill" item from the balance sheet the company's long term assets - long term liabilities is just about zero (src: yahoo finance).
There has been lots of buying on high volume, and price recently passed the esteemed 200MA. Where is the renewed interest coming from...is it Papa's turnaround plan?
What're you thinking, Johnny?
I took a short position on the basis that the company's financials were a mess at around $16/share...of course, that was a painful experience for me ; )
After hours? The real question is...what day's after hours? Not today's...
Long Jul 15 puts
Td ameritrade and yahoo finance say an earnings call was expected this week...does anyone know anything about that?
Looks like someone is selling xD
Thanks alfie, I appreciate the perspective check. I didn't know its history in such detail, it makes a compelling case.
Today ENRT begins lithium exploration in Argentina, which will continue until june 5.

Graphite One private placement is coming
Thanks!
I work in prop trading, I think I'll stick to penny stocks that are the subject of optimistic rumors in the office ; )
But they're a mining/lithium tech company *now*. You sure weed->vlove lube->lithium tech is incorrect?
Thanks for the reply, Chrisny. I just started in penny stocks (and have it on good authority that mxlgf is a good buy). Could you recommend a good newsletter to subscribe to?
out of curiosity, how on earth did you know that?
If that was true, they could pay a couple thousand to fix the website etc. and gain millions of dollars in market capitalization! dr. thomas would become a millionaire, just by getting his nephew to make a wordpress.
This company's a nightmare. Weed company turned women's lube company turned lithium technology company, and they haven't even bothered to update their social media. Their website looks like shit. Doesn't this concern anyone?
