Real simple reason its up. look at chart and it jumped when short interest became a big deal. This outfit has short interest out the wazoooo. I'm surprised it stopped at .70. Im out again it took all day to dump 25k without slapping the bid. Some MM is trying to fill a short order in a big way is my opinion

The speculation has been that first quarter of 2021 FTRCQ will emerge from BK, with commons likely being wiped out. There are however, no specific timelines.

Trying to figure out how this moved 50% today on no news. I found it remarkable but for whatever reason, there's no chatter in this room, at all.

One outlier on twitter is just speculating it's because FTR will eliminate half its debt. I will need to see that corroborated. Given the timing and the bid/ask spreads, I think it's more likely that the selling pressure from tax loss sales has finally let up, resulting in a short term reversal.

I saw the price action today as an opportunity to reduce my position at 0.18 and take my 50% gains. I do not expect it to break .20s now but more likely to give back all gains achieved today so I pulled the trigger and sold mine. We'll see.

So after hearing from a couple of friends that are more expert in the field of DD, and I am just a lonely chartist, I have decided this one is not for me. Here is what one of my contacts posted.

Once the whole procedure completes, the shares will become worthless. I mean, completely worthless paper (or computer bits) as in "even toilet paper will have more worth, because it has actual use". If you want the new company, you will need to buy their Senior Notes bonds (these holders will receive the new company). Or wait until they emerge and buy them on day one.
