Ah, Gotcha that makes sense. Thank you for the reply
Oh, yeah i get the whole jumping through hoops thing in order to get some of these cryptos. I was just saying that the videos were telling me to buy BNB, then trade for Smartchain, then swap for Safemoon. I just bought Smartchain directly instead of making 1 extra step and it worked out just fine. But wasn't sure if the extra step in videos was causing a little more in transaction fees?
Question? When I first bought safemoon I watched a Youtube video to learn how to do it. I downloaded Trust Wallet, then I just bought Smartchain to start with, then used Pancake Swap to trade it for Safemoon. Then later on, I was showing some friends how to get some and played the Youtube video for them. Then I realized that in all the videos, they were buying BNB, then trading for SmartChain, then swapping for Safemoon. I can't figure out the benefit to buying BNB first, seems like a wasted extra step. Does anyone have any insight on this?
Love St Judes. What a Great orginization
I Agree with that.
If Biden wins, kiss America goodbye
So I got an explanation from Robinhood.
Hi Shane,
Thanks for reaching out about the GECC dividend. This particular dividend paid out a bit differently than common cash dividends.
GECC declared a “Dividend with Option”. The default option here was Cash. Since the cash option was prorated, shareholders received a combination of cash and stock.
So after looking at my share count I could see the additional shares. The weird thing was that the cash portion(@ .0198) of the dividend is the only portion that is listed in my account history, the other shares just showed up without being listed anywhere. I'm guessing because it was technically a cash reinvestment. And if I do the math on the other additional shares then it all works out right
Mine is on the DRIP program too, so they bought more shares, but it's always current share price on the dividend payout date. Which ended up being 3.59 a share. Anyway, I did send them a message inquiring about it, just waiting to hear back. I use Robinhood for this and a few other divvy stocks like ET and NGL, this is the 1st time it's been messed up, so it will be interesting to see what the response is.
Wow, I guess I need to contact my broker. My dividend history says paid at .0198 per share.
So I got paid a dividend today, but it was less than 25% of the expected amount of .083 per share, the payout was .0198. I don't remember seeing anything about a reduction in dividends.
seems like a decent deal. Also seems a little silly that people are dumping shares since dividends are still locked in for Sept, if figured people would at least hold on till the EX dividend date. I haven't read anything about any major dividend cuts in the future. Have you heard anything about that?
Not much life in here.
Cheers to that.
HELP HELP, MY CAP LOCK BUTTON IS STUCK, AND I DON'T HAVE A SPELL CHECKER. But I'm a stock market genius. lol
Love this post, thanks for the morning laugh. Any of those peeps that are not on board with Tesla at this point will be missing out on some major long term growth, actually some major short term growth too. Long live TESLA
I think Tesla will dominate the solar power industry. The power wall storage batteries are top notch. There is nothing else out there that is even close to the quality and tech that go's into Telsa products IMO
At this point in time the Tesla vehicles need to be plugged in to charge. The future models will have some sort of solar panels on them to charge the battery while your driving or anytime its outside during the day. I'm guessing it would still need to be plugged in on occasion depending on how much driving you do
Yep, they'll be hanging out in the basement with Uncle Joe. LOL
What is fulling? Oh wait...… were you trying spell Fooling? You have the stock market mastered though.
Agreed, most of the market is taking a beating today.
Only a matter of time before this sector booms
Haha, how can you even think that is anything to worry about? Kona is working on a much bigger deal than a small handful of organic grocery stores and I'm sure that VATE will follow that same path in time. Wherever people buy food....VATE and KONA will both be there eventually, and wherever people buy gas....they will be there too. Now if people stop buying gas and eating food, then we will have lots to worry about.
I wouldn't let it bother you that lots of new people aren't coming to IHub to post yet. I work with several people that are shareholders of VATE and I told em to check out IHub and after one visit to the board they were like "nah, don't have time to read all the nonsense that seems to be going on" I get it though. There are days that seem like the impeachment trial, just a lot of bickering back and forth. It'll make anyone just about crazy if you read all the posts every day.
They are $3.99 for the Tea, I'm guessing that the coffee is about the same. I'm not a fan of cold coffee, so I haven't really paid attention.
I actually went to this Tabaco store that I knew carried Kona Gold products. So I went there to grab a few Kona's (love the original and platinum) Anyway I started chatting with the owner and asked her if she had heard of Elev8 yet. She said yes, she was just sold out cause she started with a fairly small order to try to get a feel for how well it would sell before placing a larger order. But she told me she knew that the Marathon station carried both Elev8 and Kona products, so I went there with the sole purpose of buying some Elev8 Tea. I didn't think to ask who her distributor is. A friend of mine from work recently bought some Kona in the Ft Wayne area, which I took as a good sign since Vate will probably continue to follow Kona's distribution path. Ft Wayne population is closing in on around 300,000, so it is good to see the products working there way into some bigger cities.
I'm with ya there, I like the Lemon too. I was happy to see them in the cooler at a local Marathon gas station in Rochester, Indiana.
Small town with a population of around 6,000 but glad to see them this far North about an hour from the Michigan line
I know, I am actually fairly frustrated as well. Not with the company, but with all the red tape for this market. I got involved with VATE when Kona Gold handed out some dividend shares, got a nice little chunk to start off, then accumulated more over the last couple years. I believe that we're in the right place and the right time is very near. GO VATE!
Your absolutely right, it should be much higher. Don't worry, it will be, we just have to be patient. :)
Look Alive, Look Alive. Let this bad boy roll
I use TD Ameritrade too, I was gonna ask about that. I know TD has had some issues in the past posting PR for VATE. Buy hey, as long as the news is out they should catch up at some point. GO VATE!!!
HaHa, The company doesn't have nearly enough shares to worry about a reverse split.
Exactly what you want to see.. Preferred shares being converted into debt that will be paid off over 10 years creating value for the shareholders rather than the other way around. Excellent move by Ryan
Big boost in volume, but lower bid and ask.
I picked up a few more shares yesterday. Hopefully we'll see some volume this week.
So I was just looking at the volume and the last transaction was for 15 shares. This is something that has always puzzled me. That transaction total would come to just over half a cent at .006, maybe it was supposed to be 15000, which still is only $6 and not worth paying a trade fee for.
We definitely need to liven up this room.
Agreed. I'm trying to pick up some more shares today. Hard to resist at this price :)
I hope your still hanging in there. The whole sector has been taking a beating for awhile now, but I think it's only a matter of time before this takes off
This is pretty big news for the whole industry.
