About Village Farms International, Inc.
Village Farms is one of the largest and longest-operating vertically integrated greenhouse growers in North America and the only publicly traded greenhouse produce company in Canada. Village Farms produces and distributes fresh, premium-quality produce with consistency 365 days a year to national grocers in the U.S. and Canada from more than nine million square feet of Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) greenhouses in British Columbia and Texas, as well as from its partner greenhouses in British Columbia, Ontario and Mexico. The Company is now leveraging its 30 years of experience as a vertically integrated grower for the rapidly emerging global cannabis opportunity through its 50% ownership of British Columbia-based Pure Sunfarms Corp., one of the single largest cannabis growing operations in the world. The Company also intends to pursue opportunities to become a vertically integrated leader in the U.S. hemp and CBD markets, subject to compliance with all applicable U.S. federal and state laws, and has established a joint venture, Village Fields, for multi-state outdoor hemp cultivation and CBD extraction.

As far as the "Halt" there has been 2 different emails posted stating it's an "Administrative" issue. The were posted on stock twits
I think the thing to remember is even though the push will be for biosynthesis in the next few year... we have the hemp market which will be used for everything...
When looking at the trades on the app, what does the grey/black trades represent? Institution?
Sam as other have pointed out the connection to Eli Lilly, here is a connection that seems to have gone unnoticed. Sazzad Hossain, Ph.D.
Chief Scientific Officer 20+ years of academic/industry experience in drug discovery and development; and Canada’s National Research Council
They are who Inmed just signed an agreement with. So to make the Eli Lilly connection is not that radical of an idea.
Take a look at this "slide" from the September presentation. IMHO with all the "News" of the US working on legislation, this deal was to have capital for a US conversion...
Positioned to Lead a Federally Legalized US Cannabis Industry
Potential US Cannabis Opportunity is a Free Option
Will only pursue if and when
cannabis is federally legalized in US
4 facilities - 5.5M sq. ft. – Existing, state-of-the-art, mega-scale produce
operations in best growing climate in US (5,000 ft. elev., most sunlight in US)
NOT PART of Canadian JV
20+ years of operating history
(600 employees)
Can be rapidly converted to be
largest US cannabis producer
Will benefit from cannabis
experience in Canada
I feel like the news is going to be something to do with hemp growing in the US...
Stack You still in inmed?
For what’s its worth xxii holds the patents in the us to grow non thc hemp... so they may have to pull some kind of deal with them
I’m glad i bought in at 2.70 hahahahahahahah :/
That’s the only reason it’s down my friend BT wants it that way how dare you not believe that : )
??????
He never said the breast cancer was in 90 days... I’m not sure why you keep saying that? Re read it/watch it he says breast cancer to catch people’s attention here’s the quote:
This groundbreaking firm is set to go public with a little-known “deal” struck with the FDA.
The announcement will reveal the details of its first opportunity to lock in $1 billion of annual sales.
1 billion in sales is the market for inm-750
I think it’s safe to say that we’re not getting any partnerships from Adams’s presentations... gotta be why he brought on the other executives with connections.
It is a conversion from May 2017 filing.
Hahaha 10-4
I wish the weak would look at institutional holders vanguard black rock ect and say to them selves these guys are in creasing their position why is that?
Seriously WTF is everyone selling for?
My opinion is a partnership with INM085 or INM405 or both. Filing more patents. My gut says they will be selling the bio-synthesized cannabinoids thus generating revenue. within the next 18months
$6 tomorrow?
News out this morning TSX starts Monday!!!
Me too, I just like buying at the high and waiting ??.... seem to have a knack for it in this sector
I’m just glad I bough in at 2.74 hahaha
Check out this article, it’s 5 months old but where we’re headed!!
http://ushealthtimes.com/scientist-reveal-what-cannabis-does-to-your-bones/
It would seem to me that approving theses devices would really be more of an attraction for the younger crowd... Call me crazy but it would seem that taking the addictive element out of "anything" would help reduce overall usage let alone a large portion of medical issues.
Lets face it the only damn thing BAT cares about is $$$ not anyone's health. Why else would they fight so hard against lowering the nicotine level to less then addictive?
Addicts aren't addicts if they're not addicted...
I agree, not sure it will hit .70 but anything is possible. I want to sell not because I don’t believe in the company but I want to accumulate more shares without putting more cash in. My fear is selling then the “big” news comes out and I miss that run up.
So looking at the patent process for the biosynthesis, we are 9 months from the expiration (9-17-18). Inmed will have to file for the (PCT) which extends the time line another 30 months from that date. At that time they will have to decided which Countries they want to file the patent with. So potentially 3-17-21 before the is an actual approval...
http://patentfile.org/how-to-turn-your-provisional-patent-application-into-an-international-patent-application/
All night long!!!
I don't disagree however with no news I cant see how a pre clinical stage company with no approved patents could be valued at over 3 billion dollars...
HAHAHA I doubt that but I sure do hope you're correct
This is tough to watch
I made a mistake that is not the correct conference presentation list
It looks terrible at the very least...
San Francisco presenting company list... No INMED
http://www.ebdgroup.com/bts/core/presenting-companies.php?_&_ga=2.245228805.16009529.1515628850-200850662.1515628850
I hope it does!!
Thanks Les!! After listening to Eric say last year that 2018 was going to be an exciting year, it sure seems to be shaping up that way.
I have a gut feeling that with the biosynthesis, inm-750 clinicals, private placement, the JP Morgan conference, the uplist to tsx, continued research on inm450 and inm-085, and the full legalization in Canada all in play this year we will see a massive increase in pps. Probably higher then we're anticipating.
We know 2019 is a target for an uplist to the NASDAQ. I was originally thinking between 5-9. Looking at all the potential i wouldn't be surprised to see double that by the end of the year
Thoughts?
What’s your thought On the invitation to the J.P. Morgan conference this week in San Francisco? I think they’ll land something there
Question: with inmed listed on different stock exchanges, does the volume and pps on one translate to another? Ultimately the company has 130+ million shares. so wether you purchase them in Canada or the USA it would seem to me it would effect the pps...
If that is the case, impending uplist to the TSX should get us more exposure driving the price up on all exchanges... Anyone know for sure?
My point was I haven’t seen a stock act like this except one that was a pump and dump.
The entire sector is having major gains, and will continue too all year
Did you read my entire post or see pump and dump and assume???
I clearly said I don’t think this is a pump and dump
