How’s everyone been? Sorry I’ve been away, just don’t like all the speculation of negativity. Things can’t be better in the growth of AMFE. I know the frustration on the pps. It will correct itself. I have no worries.
She said Boomage, ;)
The funny thing is. If you live in a high risk area, the state already taxes you additional property tax to help fight fires. Got to love California.
Here’s the other clue. Look and see the endangered species in the fire areas.
I’ll even go as to say. When you’ve applied for permits to remove vegetation from ride-A-Ways. And your turned down because of butterflies. Companies have the tendency to keep those records.
Bingo!!!
Might go to $18.oo today
Won’t happen!

Agree, but it won’t make it to penny’s and they’ll come out of bk stronger. If we’re lucky we might just might get another $5.05 buy in. But the word is spreading fast about the transformer issue. So we may have seen the bottom. We’ll see.
Again, you’ll probably see that the camp fire was vandalism. But we won’t have that answer anytime soon.
We should see this gain aftermarket, to $18.00. IMO.
I’ll bet Vandalism is blamed for the campfire. IMO
It won’t be a financial bail out it will be a legislative one. Reverse the, inverse condemnation law. All the utilities in the state are pushing for this law to be dealt with.
Would be interesting to know were the fire spread from. Was it from the tower towards Paradise. Or from the transformer that was shot out.
This is all going to come down to where was the tower in relation to Paradise and wind direction. And the shot out transformer and wind direction.
Correct me if I’m wrong but if the shot out transformer and the fire that resulted was the cause of town being devastated. Isn’t that vandalism. Hopefully we hear soon. Any word on the finale investigation report from Cal-Fire.
Here’s some interesting reading.

That’s laughable, theirs a judge that does not know what he’s talking about. Moron
We will see
That won’t happen. I bet we sit around $11-$13 through BK. We will have another few dips before the 29th. Then it will climb and steady out after the filling. And once the politicians legislate 70-85% of the liability away. Bam, back to $50+ over a few years. Less than 3years. IMO
It won’t hand them 30billion. They will legislate the liability away.
What was the last one, three years? If Newsom even hints states protection, instant $12 then $18.
I’ll be the first to admit if I wrong. But I don’t think so. Newsom is already starting to wobble.
I agree, I bought when it hit 18 and sold at 23.20. There was no doubt that they were going to follow the old play book. Been through this twice before with them. It’s al doom and gloom. Look back, it’s by the numbers. First start crying and then say we need to sell assets then file bk. Then the state figures out they can’t handle the problem and make connections and PGE comes out of bk stronger. Of course there a lot more to it, but sums it up.
FYI, in company wide meeting yesterday. It was stated the will not be selling it’s gas assets.
I’m buying all the way to six.
Yep, here’s my take. PG&E gas and electric system is a huge and I mean a huge liability. Since San Bruno, they have spent billions trying to catch up on maintenance on their gas transmission lines. However they haven’t scratched the surface on replacing 80 year old pipelines. Let alone all the first generation plastic Distrabution lines. It will take 15 more years just to get rid of the plastic. They have no choice. It has to be replaced. I don’t think the powers to be want PGE to walk away. No one in their right mind would buy all this crap pipeline. Unless they abandon and run all new. You and I as consumers couldn’t afford it. If a private company comes in the cost would be past on country wide. Now, for city’s to become little power and gas companies. They don’t have the money, period. Again all those first generation plastic has to be replaced to almost every house through the whole system. Every house built in the 70s 80’s and 90s. That’s massive.
State can’t even manage a needle exchange program, let alone have the were with all to run power.
The example is Monterey Bay Community Power.
However PG&E is the billing and service company. Palo Alto is a good example like Modesto Irrigation District. However they built their own system. For city’s and private companies to buy PG&E systems would be also taking on their problems. Not sure what city’s have the funds to take on such huge projects. More like private companies would. But that leads to other problems as well. It’s a mess for sure.
Will never happen for many reasons.
Your the man Rocket!
No, this is put your money on the table and let someone grab it game. Some play it better than others.
There’s going to be many opportunities here for a bit of time.
My average yesterday was 18.82 got out at 24.52
I’ll even give you one better. It’s not going to be their fault at all.
Please, please keep the panic on. Praying for under 10.
Transferred 100k into my TD account. I’m buying all the way to the bottom.
Every household & business north of Bakersfield pays PGE for gas monthly. Almost every household and business pays PGE monthly for their electricity.
PGE Corp owns pipelines all over the world.
PGE is the largest land owner in CA.
For the love of God, please tank this stock to $2. I’ll retire by next June.
So here’s the rub. If PG&E had the lines cleared from any vegetation 10’ to 20’ from the lines depending on operating voltage. They will be in the clear.
Now if a tree fell or something hit the pole/tower. It won’t be their fault at all.
The only way it can be their fault is if the regular/required Inspections weren’t done.
And since the regular/ maintenance inspection were in question in last years fire in Napa is the only reason PG&E is on the hook. So as a things go. PG&E inspected every line and spent millions on clearing lines. Plus, now turns off the power during high winds. All per the CPUC.
