Thanks for considering our perspective on the situation
In the end, we all hope for success for QTMM - the recent confirmation of $500k, and assertion that more updates are to come, has been great to hear.
Thanks for the quick response,
I still see a photo of a panel with "QDX" photo shopped onto it, implying we've integrated our QD into a panel, implying we've made quantum dots in India, implying we have facilities set up there, etc.
This, I believe, is misleading to new investors, and if QTMM fails to follow through on their promises again, this misleading invitation to new investors will only serve as a sour reminder not to trust anything related to this business, which will only compound to further deter new investors in the future.
I believe it is best to let the actual developments of our business speak for themselves, not to drum up theoretical concepts as half-hearted truths.
I agree with you, Kurt. Intentionally misleading to any new investors, which in the end will only add further negative views surrounding this company as we seek to get out of the quagmire we've found ourselves in for the last 4 years.
The moderators should be held accountable to the truth, not to their twisted view of it, so that the QTMM/QMC brand will not be damaged by their disinterest in factual integrity.
The doctored photograph of a panel with "QDX" on it should be removed from the board.
Quantum Materials Asia Co., Ltd - Any Update?
Has this venture fell by the wayside as well? What is the state of GTG's involvement?
Any actual sourced update from within the last year would be appreciated.
Nitto Denko QD Developments - Still Working Together?
An interesting patent application from Nitto Denko detailing research into creating a LCD panel with QDs.
Lots to chew through here, and I don't mean to imply any sort of relationship between the two companies (I myself continue to remain skeptical), but perhaps those here with an eye for patent language can help decipher through this?

You've given suggestions, and you continue to give suggestions, but there will never be an affirmative answer as to the fate of this company until they release worthwhile news that will drive share price upwards. As shareholders we are not entitled to this information until it becomes prudent that the company shares this information.. yet people on this board continue to complain because they're used to investing in companies which possess much more respectable interest in maintaining a relationship between themselves and their investors.
The ACS/CAS certification is huge.. the 4 metric tons is huge.. the 1000 hour milestone is huge.. but these have amounted to no further information that has a direct positive influence on the shareholder's interests. Some more information that QMC has released has turned out to be hopeful thinking or entirely false in nature. Good things continue to pop up, yet they always seem to be coupled with a shroud of doubt brought up by questionable events noticed by shareholders.
In the end all we can do is hold and hope, believing in the root of our investments.. something which is inarguably becoming harder to do.
As you say, if someone doesn't believe, then sell and move on. In the words of Mr. Squires himself, "Please do not construe lack of communication with lack of progress . . .", it's easy for some, like yourself, to take this quote at face value.. but that doesn't prohibit other inquisitive investors from asking questions in the interest of their investments, which is the basis for my posting at any time I post on this board. I'm just looking to dig deeper and see if QTMM continues to be a worthwhile investment.
There's literally no answer to any of the concerns that any level-headed inquisitive investor here has
There was literally no answer to the pump last year that brought in 400% gains, nor any of the pumps before last year's.
There will be no answer to anything, really, until we hear news of relationships with companies who put QDs to use.
Take all input and even press releases directly from QMC with a grain of salt. We've entered into the 'fear' phase of holding this stock that seems to come around every 12-18 months
Interesting.. I'll have to give it a shot myself.
If true then I'm sure this board will have plenty of emails and call to send QMC's way
Did you make it to the part where you input your payment method like your debit/credit card?
Not sure what you're talking about..
I used the check-out function and made it all the way to payment options where it requested my card
I'm not willing to go any further but if anyone wants to throw $200 on it to see if QD explosion's claims are true, feel free to do so
What does 'relocation' mean?
Thanks
Did QMC even present at the 2nd China International QD Summit in 2017? I don't remember.. and if they didn't, then the answer is clear, that QMC pulled out of the 2018 Summit.. otherwise;
All the other speakers coincide on all of the USA Flag language site, the Chinese Flag translated by Google language site, and the official "Final Agenda_QD.pdf" received from the Summit's support staff.. meaning that the 'outdated' USA Flag language site is not a remnant of 2017, seeing that the rest of the speakers on that 'outdated' script are still present on the official "Final Agenda_QD.pdf" image.
The USA Flag language site appears to be some form of first draft of the 2018 3rd China QD Summit, with the updated drafts no longer having QMC/Stephen Squires speaking at them.
I'd invite you to investigate the discrepancies between the USA Flag language site, and the google-translated Chinese Flag language site. Any discrepancies are likely resolved by viewing the "Final Agenda_QD.pdf", in addition to the fact that the support staffer Christon Yang said the website will be updating their webpage with the final schedule shortly.. we'll see.
Unless the 3rd China International Quantum Dots Summit website team decided to save time that they'd edit the 2017 schedule and update it with the 2018 speakers, and somehow coincidentally updated every single part of the 2017 schedule except for Stephen Squires' name, all signs point to QMC having pulled out.
It appears Stephen Squires will not be speaking at the 3rd International China QD Summit

See above^
By clicking on the USA flag on the website, the page is converted into english (flag is located on top left of website). Here, you can see that Stephen Squires is scheduled to speak at 13:00, with the subject of his lecture written as "TBD".
But this appears to be an older version of the website script. By leaving the website on the Chinese flag and then using google to translate, you can see that Stephen Squires' 30 minute lecture at 13:00 has been replaced by a 30 minute lecture by Dr. Lo Chung Sing of Nanosys.
This caused some concern for me, so I emailed the 3rd China QD Summit support team. They sent the following email in response:
*Read This Nitto Denko Patent (Optical Film)*
http://images1.freshpatents.com/imageviewer/20170152357-p20170152357
Read it word for word, (it will take 20min~ to read) and please provide input, all you industry experts
Note the multiple detailed sentences regarding high-grade transmissive qualities of the filler substance for light with wavelengths of 460nm (blue). (required for QD films!)
I believe I am on to something here. A process which details the ability to attach a conductive substrate to a film with "rows" of semiconductors suspended in a resin-like material, combining as a film with high standards of homogeneity, robustness, flexibility, and transparency.
Is this Nitto's version of a "QDEF" film? I believe so. Please help decipher this!

Again I'm just dredging the internet for anything worthwhile.. I'd hope to hear Jamis' and PV's and others opinions (the skeptical people should weigh in too) on these advancements and if they mean anything, considering they are all newly filed patents
I'm not sure if these have any relation to anything worthwhile, as I'm not the most technically proficient person in this particular field..
Apologies for the re-post, I just would hope to see if that these patents are a "thread worth looking into"

Scrolling down through the detailed notes of SciVax's "Imprinting Device and Imprinting Method" patent, one of the classifications of this patent includes:
"B82Y 40/00
B82Y 40: Manufacture or treatment of nano-structures
B82Y 40/00: Manufacture or treatment of nano-structures"
Nano-structures vs nanoparticles? Also, looking at these details reveals that this patent has a history of more than a decade..
Forgive me if I'm too far down the SciVax rabbit hole, just looking for any leads. It appears as though SciVax's imprinting method patent has at least addressed in a minor fashion the practice of treating "nano-structures" wrt film-processing
http://bizled.co.in/quantum-materials-increases-manufacturing-capacity-for-high-heat-tolerant-quantum-dots/ (source found on other board)
From the above article, sourced from QMC.. "Ongoing environmental testing of the company’s new line of QDX Quantum Dots this week has also obtained heat resistance to 260 degrees Celsius"
QMC to have product on display with Uniglobe & SciVax at SID Display Week 2017..
One of SciVax's patents under "Resin For Thermal Imprinting . . . in the production of a sheet or a film":
"The glass transition temperature Tg (° C.) and the value ([M]) of MFR at 260° C"... http://patents.justia.com/assignee/scivax-corporation
Can anyone help decipher? not sure if 260 degrees Celsius is common enough in the imprinting industry to shut down any sparkle of interest that these two matching temperatures have. It appears the Resin For Thermal Imprinting patent was dated January 2016, and more recently, SciVax has gone forward in filing a patent which appears to formalize their thermal-imprinting process under their newly dated March 28, 2017 patent Imprinting device and imprinting method
Overall, QMC has stated their QDX Quantum Dots have obtained heat resistance to 260 degrees Celsius, which also happens to be the exact temperature used in a relatively new patent which describes a process of imprinting...

"On March 29, 2016, the Company entered into a registration rights agreement with SBI and L2 Capital. Pursuant to said agreement, the Company is required to file a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission to register the shares of common stock under the Eloc and all shares of common stock underlying the notes and warrants issued to SBI and L2 Capital in connection with the Eloc and loan transactions described above."
Is there any information to be gleaned, or any eyebrows to be raised in either direction, regarding the above emboldened part of the quote? Appears this has been in the works for a year now.
This would be my only question, the rest looks good & it's exciting to continue receiving more news re: QTMM's future.
Hello
Long term holder since May of 2013 here, been lurking for years and with all the recent movement in the last 6 months I've made an acct. Don't plan to post much outside of when questions really do stick out, which brings me here to question...
First, I wonder along with wooferwax as to why the two micro-reactors were de-commissioned in the first place
Second, Mr. Squires refers to a "group of the Company's shareholders" who during late 2016 had "developed serious concerns regarding the Company's ongoing ... path towards commercializing", who "insisted that [he] return to reassume .. position as President and CEO". I followed the board here during this time period and made no notice of any demands or direct communication between ourselves (the big band of shareholders catalogued by Jamis1) and Mr. Squires. Getting insight about the relationship between this group of shareholders and QTMM's management is necessary, as it appears they have enough sway in the company to cause such a major change as to change CEOs.. In addition, these shareholders most likely know the fine details between the parting of Sri and the return of Steve. The first few introductory paragraphs of the release open many questions with regards to the company's leadership direction..
In the end, good vibes from this release (BOE 'name drops' are nice, but nothing concrete. understandable given the nature of business relations & disclosure agreements), but it also highlights the fact that we're in the dark with regards to what's been going on in the management realm. Always appreciative of more info, and here's to the future. Glad that Squires recognizes that there needs to be more communication between shareholders and the company.
