John Bourque can not "again" until a "first time" is done.

Without any news, is this a time to average down?
Anyone know if Bourque Industries is still a viable company?

At dusk, at a location known as the Cave of the Hanging Snakes thousands of bats leave the cave to forage for insects.
As they depart, the rat snakes hang from the walls of the cave, aiming to get a meal of their own.
It's a manic moment as male cactus bees envelop a single female.
But who in this amorous scrum will emerge lucky and get to mate with her?

I understand what you say is accurate "after the fact" for a company that had a viable product to bring to market.
These "new" companies start as an idea, but have no support from any established company, especially no availability for financial assistance except the market of penny stocks where manipulators lie in wait to pounce.
There are a few places that will analyze a new or better mouse trap idea, but acceptance is low and carries I'm sure certain conditions where control and ownership is diluted for the one asking for help.
For example, back when BobZ had his newly created Talkzilla web site that had extremely poor design and scope characteristics, I contacted Bob about a web site idea I developed "in my head" that would in a span of a few years have Facebook or Twitter offer a buyout of it in the amount of a billion dollars. But Bob was so drunk on his acceptance that he is the best and brightest for web site design and execution that he "laughed" in so many words that one like me has a better ability and vision for such things than he, this as it was obvious he totally failed as a creator of ideas and design.
For sure I should have contacted Meatloaf, but he was well situated and comfortable where he was, not wanting any disruptions to lead him astray from what was a solid and risk free existence.

Even if 99% of penny stocks are manipulated, and 99% of penny stocks fail, the failure of most are not caused by manipulation but simple poor management.
Picklegate (pickle-spear-acy)
For a cucumber to meet the legal requirements of being a pickle,
it first must be made “entirely or predominantly from cucumbers.”
The word “pickle” on the jar label is not required for it to be legally considered a pickle,
since, thanks to the transparent glass jar, “the nature of the food is obvious.”
The word Scam is not required on IH's Penny Boards since “the nature of the trading posts are obvious.”
Question for Doug...
"...would you want to be alive to see the end of the world?"
I give myself 2 more years when I turn 80,
but the world will be like it's today.
The world in 25-50 years will be in chaos,
so derfie might see the beginning of "end of the world",
but not the final judgement when there is no law,
just people using force, not sanity, to collect water and food.
Folks like Susie will be the first to be eliminated.

I don't follow this board to collect changes to IH since it has lots of "off topics" for notifications of such. Seems I can't locate the "View the Last 50" on an alias. Also, the new way to post and view on a board has changed, of which I did get that notification, but where is the option to use the old format I ask.

"We all need to hoard something...
... current guess is water
... 30 years of food"
While food is available now in unlimited quantities,
while not cheap,
it will seem cheap later if the current economy crashes,
along with food shortages.
30 years of food is doable using food with all water removed.
But I'm guessing it's only stable 5 - 10 years today.
As for "current guess is water"
is better stated as "current guess is clean water"
but that can't be obtained as "30 years of clean water."
But unclean (dirty bacteria etc) water will always be available.
Here just need to stockpile those devices that filter out the bad stuff.
They are cheap as they filter large quantities of water.
