I know you weren't responding to me or anything, but I recently made the switch from E-Trade to TDA and I think it is better. No account minimum and free level II quotes for the non-professional trader. Can't go wrong with that. I switched because of free L2 or else I would've stayed with E-Trade.
Just sold off 1 mill of my shares. Just not enough "ummph" in it today. If it goes down into the trips, I'll be back again. If not, good luck to everyone staying on deck. Hope it works out.
I think a lot of people were let down or disheartened by the news/PR release. I think they were expecting more than just saying, "We are going to be showing off our product at this event."
No clue. I just read what the article says. It is what it is. Let's see how this turns out for today.
I guess they are in the "VIP" area at this expo. Arnold hasn't personally endorsed the product or anything. I guess you have to try and look at the big picture. They are in the VIP and apparently this is where all the "big spacones" go and hopefully USMJ can get a nice deal cut with someone with real retail power. To me, that's all this sounds like.
I'm not upset per se, but I was expecting something along the lines of reaching a deal to sell at, say, various GNCs. To me, this sounds like instead of getting a standard space to sell their goods and give them exposure, they are in a larger space. I mean, that's cool, but is there more to this VIP thing than what I gathered from this article? Did Arnold endorse the product? Is he signing off on it? What am I missing here?
True story; 16s here as well.
I'm just going to ride this out. USMJ was my first dive into the stock market. I didn't put up a lot of money, so if it crashes, it crashes. The loss, should it occur, won't kill me. With that being said, I have definitely learned a lot about the market ('vocab' terms, basics of how it's driven, basics of what to look for with respect to A/S, O/S, etc.). Whatever happens here, happens, but I'll be better educated going forward. If you can afford to take the hit, roll with it.
It's a downloadable file. I was able to view the document.
What are some thoughts on dilution with this company? Anyone think it's going on? There's a ton of shares
I know of the ALYI dividend that is forthcoming, but what is the 2nd one that you are talking about for 2017?
If this company really gets off the ground, you might see a R/S followed by a F/S, just to get a lot of investors out of the picture, narrow items down, put things into perspective, or if they really get established and want to make a jump to the big boards. We will see. Take it day by day.
I'm hoping you're right mrscashflow
Let's get it.
I just want to know what anyone thinks the honest ceiling in terms of PPS is for this stock with this "big announcement" next week? Do you think this is really going to hit .01, essentially jumping through the double 0s in little time?
How significant was the drop if you can recall?
I think that means Europe/European Union. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
I just purchased those 166,666 up on the volume. Liking what I am seeing here, so here's hoping it can give me a little something. That Sodexo gig could be a big deal; they have been in the game for a long time. They were my college's food servicer when I was an undergrad almost 15 years ago. ABVG seems legitimate.
I think the article stated that PURA could reach .20 by next Thursday.
I purchased the bulk of my shares @ 0004, got a few more at 0006. I might get a few more before next week, then just chill out and see what transpires. So far, so good though.
Here's hoping you're right.
That's why you don't put all of your eggs into one basket. At this stage of the game, I would say that anyone who invests thousands into this company is taking a huge risk. A couple hundred dollars won't do any harm, and shouldn't financially strap most people. I honestly don't have much faith in this stock, seeing as many penny/sub-penny stocks are typically scams/can't get fully up and running, but I figured "why not?" If something good happens, great. If not, then I am out a few hundred dollars. It is what it is. You could go to a casino and lose $1,000 in under 3 minutes and not have the opportunity to make it back without having to play more money. At least here your pps may go down one day, but you could get it back, and then some the next. It just depends when you want to quit/get out.
I agree with pretty much everyone who posted on this topic. TD, ETrade, or Schwab seem to be the best ways to go. You want to make sure that brokerage/company deals in penny stocks. I once made the mistake of signing up for TradeKing (4.95 commission fee)...sounds like a good deal, but they didn't deal with sub-penny stocks. You get what you pay for. Here's hoping this stock works out and you can at the very least re-coup your investment.
Do you have a credible source for this? I see you post a lot of negativity about this particular stock, but from what I read, I never see links to any credible sources; just all hearsay.
People are looking for the quick pay-day here; not going to happen. It's been going up the last few days, but it will go down again, then back up, then back down. That's the name of the game. If you are looking to wake up tomorrow and this is at $1 per share, it's not going to happen. I didn't invest a large amount of money here because there is definitely a higher risk here than, say, investing in something like Facebook. Facebook is almost a guaranteed pay-day for the long-haul, but that's why it costs so much more per share than USMJ. Again, as I said in another post a few nights ago, I view USMJ as something trying to get off the ground...it may, it may not...but that's why I didn't throw the bank at it. I made a $600 investment, have about 1.6 million shares. If it flops, hey, I'm out $600, but it's not going to cripple me. I'm just going to let that $600 sit in there and rot away. I am obviously hoping this takes off, and maybe a year from now I can sell it off for a nice chunk of change. If not, cest la vie (that's life). I'm here for the long-haul and let's see what happens...sit back and enjoy the ride. Stressing about whether it is going to reach .0007 today and then it drops to .0005 tomorrow is going to give you heartburn. It's going to have good days and bad days. If it drops to .0004 tomorrow, it's not the end of the world, you don't have to rush and sell the shares off. It'll move up and down, up and down.
I couldn't agree more. Obviously there is no guarantee this is destined to make any money, whether little or big-time, but it's a risk that could pay ten-fold if it does pan out. It's not going to make a leaps and bounds jump over night. If it doesn't pan out then people can try to sell their shares and look for something else. Everyone is looking to make money here, but this is something that is trying to "get off the ground" of sorts and isn't as established as, say, Wal-Mart. Patience is key.
