I'm surprised they're afloat. Gotta give some credit for weathering the storm thus far. Haven't lost money yet. Have you?
Agreed. Options are limited but I believe they'll take whatever measures needed to come out the other side. I think they still have several tricks up their sleeves as well to guarantee it so. IMO
Gotcha! No worries it's confusing this go around
Doc, you could be right. I'm assuming since the terms of any additional non institutional investors investments are bound by the 30th, so could then be the forebearance. Aside from that, I haven't the faintest clue what date it might be. Best of luck to you as well.
I'm guessing 30 June.
That 5 Million (due June 20) is the payment which is currently in forebearance and deemed the second forebearance.
The first one under this repayment plan was taken care of with the Sabby deal. This is the second forebearance under the Whitebox notes.
That's what I'm saying as well
I believe this is a forebearance on the June 20th payment you are referring to. It's the length of which I'm unsure. It may be till June 30, or another date agreed upon that I missed or wasn't spoken to.
Couldn't agree more. They bought time, that's all. Time for them to hopefully conclude the trial and line up more investors. That's it. The payment is in an extended forebearance and accruing interest. It's been brought up before, but I'm sure there are back up plans if the aforementioned falls through.
You're the greatest Senti! Thanks for breaking it down so a simpleton such as myself can double check my notes ??. You're absolutely correct on every point.
This is awesome!
Rising - for whatever reason the price per share is reset to its last value on the Nasdaq on a weekly basis. It usually corrects itself before, or as, trading starts for the day. GL
I don't feel that's the final covering of the shorts in my opinion. Covering a couple million in a few days doesn't make up for the months of heavy shorting we've experienced since October of last year. I'd bet there are quite a few still naked. Guess we will find out soon enough. GLTA
You're absolutely right Flip. The puzzle pieces are there and it only makes sense considering that if L is approved, other lines could quickly follow. It's the technique that's the most important, the vaccines are made to the subject. If the process is correct, so then, will be the vaccines. It's the beauty of patenting DC technologies, IMO.
Thanks for fighting the good fight biosect.
Short and Distort. What Pyrrhonian, et al have been doing is a textbook definition of this technique - same as Flip's annotations of bear attack. Notice the attacks against biosectinvestor and other rational posters. Here's a good read that will remind those of you that are new, to continue your DD outside out the message boards.

I hope the road ahead is a healthy one for your wife and yourself NWDR.
My guess is, he does his little time at club fed and that's it. At best. I'd also guess the master puppeteer has deep pockets and is well connected. That, or no one takes him seriously anymore, and can't legally go after him unless he can be linked to actively shorting the stock as well. In his bio, it says he owns no shares of the stock. Wonder if that only has to be true at time of publishing? Or they cant trace the money back to him because it's through another party? Just the conspiracy theorist in me. Keep it squatchy.
Well said Arby.
Impeding and eliminating tumor growth is a great start. Google cellular lysis. That should be a good place for you to start.
Exactly iwasadiver. I'm tired of his anecdotal rhetoric absent of analysis and factually based, scientific knowledge. He just twists statements from a 10K out of context and throws in some catchy phrases. How can someone spend this much time and energy writing hate pieces about a small biotechnology company attempting to stop cancer? One answer...he's being paid to do it and can't find facts to support his claims. When we succeed, I'll be one of the first to let him know.
Fair enough. I'm hoping for the best, but if we don't get an updated by end of Summer, I very well may join you in your boat.
Thanks for sharing Happy. Always good to get an outside opinion. Here's to hoping that trend is changed this year. Cheers.
Very well thought out post Happy! Mind sharing what generally soured you about the investment? I see a glimmer of hope in you every once in a while, but a lot of anger too. Just asking in case I haven't been around as long as you. GL
Your math is all off. Les + Linda = cancer cure. Can't forget to subtract 218.
Thanks biosect. If we all weren't learning something every day, what would be the sense in it all?
I agree wholeheartedly. The rhetoric is always ineffectively linked to "science" that is pulled out of context. Out of context within the trial, the time period, and the other events that the company is also working at the same time. For us longs, we giggle, cuss him out, etc. (whatever we need to do to dismiss the rhetoric).
It's fortunate that with our company, we have the dedicated long support that we have. That doesn't mean we don't get frustrated from time to time, but we stay with the company because of the science and an overall trust in management's decision-making processes. We've actually done the deep-dive research, and have different methods for motivation (financial, scientific, personal cancer experiences, etc), but know we are headed in the right direction. Here's to hoping we make it there in one piece! GL to you!
Imagine what Opdivo can accomplish when combined with a targeted immunotherapy vaccine, like DCVAX, vice a chemical cocktail which is indiscriminately killing healthy/immunological cells. Not to take anything away from Dr. Stupp's years of work in the field, but is it likely he is going to research and publish findings contradicting the current SOC? Especially when that SOC is named after him?
Biosect, you've hit the nail on the head...as it were. I've read every piece AF has written and done deep dives into the companies he writes of and there is little analysis ever done. At best, there is some piecemeal technical work done, but it's mostly surface journalism work, not research. To most, there is no rhyme or reason to why he picks who he picks, and what level of effort he spends attacking them. But then - as I was told growing up - when you question someone's reason for doing something, "follow the money." 9/10 times it will yield what their motivation is ($) and who is facilitating the increase in Greg level of motivation.
Enjoy your analysis and advice. GL
Couldn't agree with your last paragraph more, Chris. The beginning for patients (and end to illegal shorting) is soon I believe. Those of us investors need to have more patience for the patients' sake.
Anyone attend Dr Prins' talk today at the AACR or visited the booth (865) next to theater A? If anything significant is shared, I could envision a Monday PR.
From what I understand from last week's teleconference, the two cases will be tied together - with this one serving as legal precedent for the Yonemura case. All good things.
Should've stated NT 10K. More to follow.
Great to hear falconx!
Iwasadiver, thanks for saying what we've been thinking in a way that really captures the full scope of how successful we've been to date and will be in the near future. Best of Luck!
I'm not sure of any others, but what you might see is a PR this Friday eluding to an update on what he will be speaking to since they are not streaming his talk. Perhaps not, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get an update about the court cases this week either. GL
Thanks Sojourner. Very nice to put it all in perspective.
Awesome post Senti! Thank you as always for the detailed explanation.
