This does not supercede the deal with Wheaton in the slighest. They ALSO need to raise capital, because the funding for the facility is not just on Wheaton, both will be contributing to the expansion, and FV Pharma needs a bunch of cash.
This gives them an opportunity to take only a small-dilutive hit, have a partner in building out this massive project, and utilize Wheaton's connections and resources in distribution, branding, and operations.
This is a signed deal in the next 2 week, and renovations for Phase 1 will commence within days after that.
Gonna fly.
Markets tend to always have a suprise. Looking for a pullback? Boom, stock takes off to new ATH.
This'll hit new ATH daily until February.
All aboard. Every morning we'll be saying "this is flying"
Smashing it pre-market. This is going to soar.
I have to say. truly remarkable.
Down 10% for 7 hours of the day.
Ends up 12%?
Whatever I do, do the opposite. Thats how you make money.
This'll be the big kahuna over the next 4 months. 7-bagger when the mania gets off to the races next week and hits full stride in january.
If you like this acquisition you are smoking crack.
Lets be real, extraction technology (if its not all hype) is VERY good for the company. Vaporizers are garbage for shareholder value.
Vaporizers are some of the easiest things to make and their are hundreds of brands on the market. There are also already leaders in the space with 50-100 million of funding already because of their technology. Pax? Puffco? Kandy? Bunch more.
These Winston vapes are on this level
https://www.alibaba.com/showroom/vaporizer.html
Sometimes you gotta look at something for what its worth. Weak acquisition.
The plug is because we're all in here to make money, right? Atleast its not a Long Island Iced Tea plug. LOL.
This is my problem.
Me: Google "winston resources", thinking "what value may they bring?"
Answer: Dead website: https://www.winstonresourcesinc.com/404.html
*Slaps self in face.
Wow. I am SO happy to get out of this. Moved to Cannabis Wheaton who knows how to build a company.
Regardless of whether this spikes....the PR today, is that for real?
An acquisition made diluting the company by 25,000,000 shares and there is NO INSIGHT on how this partnership will better the company and what this new acquistion brings to the table?
Not a word from the CEO.
Never seen such a poor PR.
Guess its a reminder not to play around with trash that has no actual investment support.
The chart looks like a bitcoin chart. Pathetic.
-10% pre-market? Is that a joke?
Manipulated garbage
This is gonna go parabolic for 8 weeks. Billion dollar market cap incoming.
Agreed but shorting anything apart of the cannabis sector is masochistic. Just asking to lose your shirt .
Well since they just raised $8 million in the last 10 days, we better see some fireworks. We need investment in grow space or JVs. Thats the only thing thats moving this market.
Unreal. Every small cap canada play going ballistic hitting 52-week highs, this one cant even hold -40% off the highs. Fucking unreal.
Can the selling stop and let it move for a second? Christ.
HUGE with the PP being almost finished in 48 hours. Expecting big close to the week.
Problems are rough at this stage. I'm on their team but they needed better management in operating as a public company.
They've operated over the past 12 months more as a passion project, not as a public company looking to build shareholder value. It's definitely not an enrichment scheme, but everybody involved is already wealthy, therefore nobodys holding a gun up to them to move faster and build the company.
If they had dedicated management (outside of Murphy) in building shareholder value, this funding snafu would have NEVER happened. Sort of preposterous that it came to fruition the way it did.
No idea which direction this will go now. Market is wild now though so anything is possible.
I was able to touch base with Murphy today but unfortunately did not get any information to help our case. When I asked about the 505(b) filing, I was respectfully told to refer to the recent filings, in addition he went out of his way to reiterate all further activities are dependent on receiving more financing. I dont need fluff, but it would have been more reassuring if the CEO spoke more positively on the further financing and if they had a back-up plan outside of Schneider. It's not clear to me why they cant get real financing after 3+ years of development and all of the supposed IP that the UM has.
My takeweay was that the $2 million will not be close to sufficient to getting any indication to trials, and that they will need to do another larger round of financing at $0.15 (likely below at this pace).
Realistically looking at the big picture, I cant see human trials begininning for another 9 months, considering they will need to raise, close the raise, and then set up trials. At this stock price, heavy dilution is expected since that $2 million wont push the SP up. I'll be watching close since I believe in what theyre doing, but I had to exit my position because I dont think theyre in good shape currently as a public company.
Also I agree with you that the company is far from dead. There is some clout behind the work they've done now. However it's time to put up or shut up with the IND. Enough about the "half-a-century of studies and intellectual property" and lets get to business and throw a pill in a human being.
Then, and only then, will the market think they are worth their money.
Ugh.
1) Litigation will literally take years. It is a non-factor in having funds for 2018.
"Nemus should now have enough money to get into Phase II for their leading drug candidate that seems to have a high probability of being approved."
This has been the narrative for 18 months now. Every round of financing was supposed to advance a target to human trials. None of them did. None of them came close. Lots of cash burn. No IND. First it was funding for Glaucoma. Then that become the back burner. All of these rounds of funding and data progress led to $12 million market cap, then 10 million, then 7 million, then 4 million.
I will retract everything I've said when Murphy submits the IND for NB1222 that they've been touting for 12 months now. Until then the kool-aid I drank burns the stomach. If this waits until 2Q18 to submit an IND, the share price will be under 0.06. If you are a biotech raising money at 0.06, you might as well be destroyed. Disagree?
The Schneider debacle has literally destroyed the company.
Why even't bother with press releases, This wont move until Murphy cures cancer. This is hell.
I get it, but there has to be a balance of promo, or else you end up having to raise at 15 cents instead of say 40 cents.
We need a better sales guy to raise money than Cosmas. I do hate doing comparisons when companies are targeting different areas, but Zynerba was able to raise $13 million in 2014 to jump start their trials, just going off pre-clinical work & research. And going after markets considerably smaller than Nemus, so you're talking about high-risk, lower reward, in 2014 when cannabinoid work was more taboo:
https://www.bizjournals.com/philadelphia/blog/health-care/2014/10/synthetic-medicinal-marijuana-develtherapies.html
Cannabinoids have stripped their name from being taboo, and typically fall into the line of "disruptor" now. The cash we initially tried to raise shouldve been in the US with reputable financers. Again, Cosmas failing. NB1111, and NB1222 is more than enough to support an investment, let alone NB2111, NB2222, and NB3111 where research has been steadily improving to provide value.
When the company was at a 9 million market cap, it was easy to say it should be valued at 35. A little harder when we are staring 4 in the face to say we deserve a 10-bagger.
The answer is to go to sleep and hopefully wake up in May.
A mess is an understatement. This is beyond a head scratcher...I CANNNOT FIGURE IT OUT.
$320 Whole dollars traded today, off the back of Financing announcement.
News? Stock goes down.
Write-up by third party? Stock goes down.
Financing announcement? Stock goes down.
Presentations of data? Stock goes down.
The market cap is $4 million dollars for christ sake. 4!!!! Penny stock garbage scam companies even sit between $10-25 million market caps.
I have to ask myself, if nobody is interested in the company, why the hell should we be? All the puffing up we do about superior data must be wrong. Period. You got good data, you got good science, you get financing. You dont have good data, you dont get financing. Nobody cares about you, and nobody should care about your company. Investors want companies to make 100s of millions of dollars, not donate to the rat testing experiment.
This has been a tough lesson to swallow thus far.
You can stay broke forever. There are companies that the market is interested in enough to BEAT the manipulators, but when there is not enough total interest, it becomes a property owned by the manipulators. This is rampant in small-cap biotech as well, because there is low interest in between clinical trial periods.
"It is our plan, to use Marinol [another cannabinoid-based drug for this indication] as a reference drug in order to file a 505(b)(2) filing with the FDA. Our estimated timeline on that is towards the end of this year in the third or fourth quarter to go to the FDA."
3Q = Over
4Q = 1/3 Over
Murphy was quoted last year as saying that just because its quiet doesnt mean theres nothing going on, but quite the contrary. He needs to put his money where is mouth is and show investors that the paperwork is ready to be filed with the FDA. We dont need charlatans, we need timelines actually being hit.
Except it absolutely was news...the projection news didnt move anything. If it did, there would have been a run-up and then sell the news. That didnt happen. This isnt on a major exchange where those things exist.
Let's outline this and then you wrap your head around it and explain that this stock behaves in a manner that makes sense, or if its a completely dead stock controlled by the financial systems to steal money from us retail. I will only include some of the larger press releases that usually increase shareholder value with a rising market cap in a growth sector, and they've had a ton more positive press releases:
7/18/17 - June Revenues 1.1 Million, Exceedes 1Q by 70%
Stock Price - 0.075
7/20/17 - Celebrity Partnership with Lawrence Taylor, Products Released Shortly After
Stock Price - 0.075
8/1/17 - Celebrity Partnership with Tommy Chong
Stock Price - 0.062
8/17/17 - 2Q + First 1/2 Financials Released - 5 Million in Sales, $360k net profit, Projected 718% Increase Year Over Year.
Stock Price - 0.06
8/24/17 - July Financials, 1.45 Million Sales, 30% Month over Month Growth
Stock Price - 0.058
8/28/17 - Boxing Mayweather Fight Sponsorship Press Release
Stock Price - 0.06
10/17/17 - August Revenues, 1.76 Million, Highest Month To Date, 20% Growth month over July
Stock Price - 0.061
11/2/17 - 3Q Revenues, 4.45 Million (Compared to 3.1 Million in 2Q). 9.5 Million For 2017, Exceeds 8Mil Full Year Projectsions, On Track for 13+ Million 2017 Total Sales Which Would be 50% Past Projections.
Stock Price - 0.059
Stocks are SUPPOSED to move on 2 things....increasing revenues/profits...and guidance for future increase in revenues/profits. Or, something material happening that would point to future earnings. All of that is happenign here, and has been happening for 5 months now. And we're down. This stock is DEAD until pumpers come (hopefully), flash pump this, and then this stock decimates into oblivion forever. Sad, but 100% true.
LESS THAN 1% gain on this news!!!!!!!!
UNREAL.....If you think you have insight into whats going on. YOU KNOW NOTHING.
Praying to break even from pumpers and getting OUT of this f*cking absolute mess of a stock.
29 million market cap, $4.5 million in sales in most recent quarter, on track to do $16 million for the year.
Trading at 1.8x sales based off this. And they have profits.
Seems like a company that nobody wants. Thats all. They could do 50 million in sales, nobody will care. Cause...Amazon! No profits? Whatever. Amazon!
I also find it truly AMAZING how VBIO is baically going through the exact same cycle NEMUS did in the last 18 months.... In Vitro Studies.... Patent Filings....Manufacturing/Formulation Agreements...Small Financing..
During this cycle, VBIO - Stairstepping upwards to 50+ million Market Cap
During their cycle, Nemus - Stairstepping downwards to a 7 million market cap.
VBIO also only did a financing round of 1 million after having cash in the bank of $500k at end of 2nd quarter. So the market is valuing their IP + 1.5 million in the bank at 50 million, while the market is valuing Nemus IP + 2.1 million in the bank at 4.5 million.
Also trump is president. So i guess I really shouldnt be suprised or shocked by anything.
In theory a company in this sector could trade at 15-20x FULL-YEAR earnings, which is actually closer to a 200 million market cap.
Something is OFF with this stock. In today's world of lightspeed fast spread of information, stocks run on good news within 10 minutes of the bell. This guy aint moving no matter what. Been 6 months of this back and forth garbage being held down.
Trading at 1.5 multiple of revenues is non existent for a growth + speculative company. It simply doesnt exist. Seen this before, stock might be broken. Cool company. Dead stock.
$2,700 worth of trading on this news...$300 in the first hour
Scary...but great news nonetheless. I assume we can get to initial stages of Phase 2 CINV trials with this raise? VINPAT do you think this is enough?
Then we raise again.
I agree a lot with this sentiment. I've reached out very nicely to investor relations for Nemus over the last 12 months and have never gotten a response. Poor way to go about things.
This is far from defeat, but yes the poor vetting process needs to be explained to the investment community at some point. It's very hard to understand why they would need to go to these guys for financing in the first place. What are your thoughts on that Vinpat? Why wouldnt they be able to secure financing from the gluttunous amount of money that exists in their home base in California?
Its so hard not to agree with this. It'd be hard to say they were "in on it" in regards to this collosal failure of financing for 6 months, but the real issue is, why go to these clowns?
Why couldn't Cosmos & Murphy raise $5-10-20 million in the states? Thats chump change in the big picture for a company that supposedly has all of this wonderful IP at their disposal. Raising that kinda money should have been incredible easy if NB1222 was actually on track for the 502(b) pathway and there was reason to believe it could penetrate the CINV market. The financers would've made their money back virtually instantly with stock appreciation.
Once again, we're missing something here. All of us.
Literal garbage dump. Somehow we all must have missed something.
VBIO 50 million market cap! NMUS $4.2 million market cap! FML!
Can't believe we have to raise new $$$ at these levels. Serious litigation needed for this Schneider debacle.
This post from September could not more revelevant during this absolute disaster. When you invest zero money for years in exposure, you get decimated by the crooks, and then when anything of material happens negative, you run the risk of literal insolvency.

This is 12 months of poor management in the public exposure department leading to a .30 stock price and .30 financing that couldnt close, which now will lead to a what, .12 financing?
Decimating all shareholders in the process. Terrible 12-month management by Cosmos & Murphy. Awful. We need answers.
...
Great now lets raise money at .10. Sweet.
