Interesting new group of posters here today! When you new guys are done here, can you come over to the MNAP board and breathe some life into that one? LOL
Above water!LoL. After 11 years, I am down 97 percent. Last Thursday, I tried to convince my wife that we should average down. She said no for the umpteenth time and guess what, she was right again! I would have bought at 2.5. Her argument was this: when they have bad news the stock goes down, and when they have good news the stock goes down. I had to admit she was right. She also saved me some money!
At a penny and a half I have to figure the odds of bankruptcy are a hell of a lot better than breaking even at 52 cents.
How low does the price of oil need to go before drilling projects such as ours become economically unattractive? Can we survive long enough to wait this out? These are the thoughts running through my head at this price.
I understand this post very well! Just hit my ten year anniversary of buying this stock. I made a grand yesterday, so I came here to see what the excitement was about. Still down 90 percent at the moment. If it gets anywhere near my 55 cent break even point, it will be very hard not to take the money and run! My wife would kill me if I put one more penny into this since my first big purchases were made at 87 cents.
Haven't been here for a while. I saw the rights offering in my E-trade account and decided to try to catch up on news. What is the consensus on the extension of the rights offering? Does it appear that Offor is not participating based on the extension?
Don't go throwing around that F word. We need to keep this board clean! LOL
Great Post TOB. Your summary should be up at the top for everyone to reference. Especially those of us who do not follow the board much anymore.
Don't forget manipulation and misleading BS
I am considering selling all my shares here so that I can afford to buy 12.5 shares of Apple!
I have been waiting on this stock so long that I can't remember what I am waiting for?
Seriously! Can someone remind me of what the next fortnight is supposed to bring?
WoW Brez! I coud use some of your optimism. After 7 years, I am down 78 percent. I have a sell in at 40 cents. I would take that 20 percent loss and run! For a dollar a share, there would be smoke where this bagholder used to be standing! LOL
Sorry for the redundant post, but I want to thank you for the tip. I am up 30% in two weeks.
I appreciate it.
A fellow wings fan.
Redwing, Thanks for the tip on the other stock. Up 30 percent in two weeks.
That market cap was based on the fabled meandering river of oil being priced in. Our meandering river of oil has turned out to be a meandering river of good old Kentucky windage!
Or Tennessee Windage if you happen to be a Volunteer (pun intended)
Why do you think the company is spending all of their time trying to diversify? It was a gamble that didn't pan out. No more cool aid left to drink! The market cap should be based on the EEZ and Chad. With this many outstanding shares, the market has valued us appropriately until oil is found in our non-JDZ properties.
Time to get real.
I don't understand how you can say the market cap is too low when we just got confirmation that our JDZ blocks are worthless. I can't understand why anyone thinks these block would be attractive to Total either. Unless they have found a new use for biogenic gas that we are unaware of, what would attract them?
You are making a big assumption that the Chinese are working long and hard on anything. They spudded five duds. They asked for an extension to see if Total can prove up anything worthwhile. If nothing is found by Total, the JDZ is history, no one in their right mind will spend another 100 million per well. It wouldn't be worth the gamble.
They need someone to blame for their lack of performance. It certainly won't be themselve's.
Based on the information vacuum that we are currently in,and year end selling getting close, this stock would be more likely to see 5 cents than 15 cents. Anyone see this differently?
OT: First: The Tigers will win the series. Second, the Cowboys won't even beat the Lions this weekend. And third: there is no way the Stars will get past the Redwings! LOL
Go Blue!
So if the company stcok was valued at 13.8 cents after the five wells were drilled, wouldn't that infer that the JDZ and the EEZ are valued (estimated) far lower than any of us would have liked?
One could also infer that the frenzied work being done today is to find other ways to add value other than the JDZ or EEZ.
Also, based on that valuation, we would have to give up a whole lot of our percentages of the not-so-valuable JDZ and EEZ to fund the new frenzied work.
I hope I am wrong!
I would like to make a request for "Aint too proud to beg" for the drilling results.
is this recent?
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth LOL
AHHH.. the best part of the day! Hunter has no more posts! LOL
I wouldn't hold your breath on the 1-3 months.
Thanks Umbra! That one caused an all out belly laugh. I needed that!
Merry Christmas to you!
For 10 cents right? Is that before or after the reverse split?
Were your mother and father related before they got married?
Larry and Moe are back, but where is Ruby1100? Got my finger on the sell button. 59 cents is my say goodbye to this turd forever number!
have you heard any?
The truth is better than lies. We already get enough BS from the company. Now Larry and Curly are back to blow more smoke and sunshine up our skirts. I guess I would rather have the shareprice do nothing until real news comes out than see it artificially pumped again.
It is obvious that the trigger for the return of PT Barnum was a stock price under 20 cents. The exit point is based on the law of diminishing pumps. Last time I think that was around 70 cents.
Wash, Rinse, Repeat!
"You just don't like him, or what he says, because he sold out at the high."
The difference here is that IMO he helped create the artificial high and then bailed with Ruby1100 and probably our friend Oily! IMO
With that said, I welcome him back. If he can help me get some of my money back out of this turd then more power to him, but I personally don't believe he is to be trusted. All my opinion of course.
Mark,
We may have our differences on the stock and our opinion of how you behaved, but I am sorry for your loss. I have been through it twice myself. Lost both parents to cancer before I was thirty. In time, the bad memories of the end will fade and you will hopefully remember only the good ones.
Good luck to you.
It doesn't say much for the stock proce expectations, but I think the warrants were to intice them to commit to the immediate buy at 22 cents. Kind of a buffer to the accepted risk.
In other words, we will sell you shares at .22 if you agree to buy more (further investement) at .28. Its all just part of the deal. Sure makes me feel good sitting at .59 break even!
Who would buy it? They would have to provide insider infformation that the results were great to get someone to buy.
All of the official word so far says non-commercial so again I ask: Who would buy it?
and apparently no life!
So you still didn't answer the question. Being so negative, you couldn't possibly own shares of the POS. So why are you here?
What is your motivation? You get a kick out of saying I told you so?
Maybe he be swingingK. That was the name of the guy with all the great contacts and talking birdies when I first bought. I wouldn't be surprised if they were all the same lowlife.
Thanks King,
That is what I thought too. I was wondering if there was a new post that I had missed.
What exactly did Sfreed say. I can't find a post.
TIA
what did he say?
