Nice DD, OCR8now. Great info that shows the "big picture" of what we are investing in. And the South Korean market is just the tip of the iceberg for this industry. BMSPF
Excellent. Good way to go into the weekend. Everybody have a good one! BMSPF
Roof taken out. Nice end-of-day performance.
Even nicer - sounds like at least one frustrated shorter just got 50% of his a$$ handed to him! BMSPF
Excellent! Thank you for the chart and update, Stock Legends.
Hopefully, sans shorting issues, we can resume the positive price action in BMSPF this week.
Thank you for taking the time to make that call, rdwild.
Can't hurt to bring a little heat on those fools. GLTY
LOL -
Seriously....?
That is an absolutely HUGE factor. God Bless Canada. It's hard to imagine these plants being constructed in a timely manner in many parts of the U.S. The bureaucracy is absurd.
Can you imagine trying to "fast track" any kind of energy-related industry, green or not, in a state like Commie-fornia? Lake Cowichan sounds better all the time. GLTA
Excellent. Thank you.
The picture I am getting is that this is a small town which will welcome the new jobs the pellet plant will provide.
Kind of like "Wal-Mart" coming to town, but without the evil.
Looking forward to 2012.....
OCR8, you and others have spoken with Jim.
Aside from the Lake Cowichan article, (which is terrific to see), what is your impression of the reception BMSPF is getting from the town? Anything from Jim reference this? It all looks pretty positive thus far.....
NiteShift or anyone else that's spoken to Jim recently, feel free to chime in also.
Thanks.
Saw them (apparently) pick off those big blocks multiple times today. That was just a blatant flip-off to every individual investor.
We know the penny markets are the wild west, but good grief. This is just an unquestionable illustration of a "rigged" market, IMO.
I wonder if we can "Occupy" MICA? Anyone got tents...?
Okay, so Thursday's To Do List:
1) Slap that ASK....
2) Squeeze them shorts.....
3) Tell MICA to "Suck It..."
Got it. Let's DO THIS!!
Way to gather the intel, PhillipD! Nice to be able to "picture" the site, in some form.
NiteShift -
Thanks to you and OCR8now for keeping in touch with Jim. The inclusion of first-hand info from the company execs is both timely and helpful.
Look forward to talking with Jim myself. And, maybe we can all crack a bottle of DOM at the opening of the first plant!
Love the momo mo-fo's. One panicky seller and the rest follow suit. Congrats to the buyers who had the sense to pick up cheap shares today.
Outstanding!
BMSPF has already started securing a substantial share of this new, growing energy market.
The mid/longer-term potential for this company (and stock) is incredible.
I like your optimism, BREACHER. Hopefully, the company will prove itself worthy of it.
I still firmly believe in NEOM's technology and potential, with crossed fingers regarding our patents. I say "our," because I still have a (small) portion of my shares. The rest were best sold for a tax write-off and the funds better allocated elsewhere.
I have those remaining shares left on the off chance that a new management team will take hold and prove itself worthy of Neomedia's enormous potential, and, especially, the shareholder's trust. It would be great for everyone to still be able to celebrate in Vegas, at some point.
In the meantime, just keepin' it real and hoping for better days ahead!

....."Where is the bottom?"
At the risk of being a smart-aleck.....
Oh, let's say, around "zero?"
At least some valuable lessons have been reinforced over the past couple years. Most important:
Let your winners ride and sell the losers (did that with most of my shares, thank goodness!), and -
"It's all about the Management." (Say this repeatedly!!!!).
Lesson learned. BTW - Thinking about a summer tar-and-feather party in sunny Fort Myers. Anybody down....?
Very informative and well-written. Thank you, Beam.

In a word......"Yes."
Make that 1799 signatures.....
Good news starting the day. Lots more coming soon, imo, bring it on! (Ple-e-e-ase......!).

Very nicely stated, Joe. Thank you.
BTW, please stop making sense. You are annoying the Bashers.

OT - That is just absurd, and uncalled for.
The mother-in-law was the instigator. Common courtesy dictates that SHE should provide the condoms!
Sheesh. Where's all the freakin' etiquette these days....??!

Copus mentioned limited PR's. Companies not willing to tip their hand to the market yet....
Copus - "Down to the short strokes."
UK/Europe first. Emphasizes China representation...
Jen - Let me also offer a late-in-the-day "Thank you," for a job well done. Your patience, dedication and knowledge have helped make this board an excellent forum. Looking forward to your continued outstanding research and postings, which really help lend perspective and insight to so many of us here.

Check the Header above. There is an awesome amount of info and due diligence posted there. That research and info helps make this one of the best boards around. It also speaks highly of the perceived potential of this company, which may at last be coming to fruition.
BTW - do your own research before committing money. Don't rely on just anyone's word on a message board. We have our share of pumpers and bashers here, too.

MM - Just remember, Toby is basically a marketer, more than an investment advisor. Take any "Last Chance" or "just around the corner" type advice from him with a grain of salt. Do your own research and be comfortable with your investments, not based on just his word. (Especially HIS word....).
Having said that....we DID get the HOD. Not too shabby. Here's to better near and long-term for us all.

Neom2006 - I think the company officers are prohibited from selling shares during the debenture period, per Billybass' earlier post #86318.

Cabbie - I subscribed to Blue Chip Growth a year or two ago. Navellier does a pretty credible job. Blue Chip is a slightly more conservative version of his "Emerging Growth" letter, to which I recently had a subscription. Blue Chip focuses on slightly "longer-term" stocks, not short-term trades. It is also much more affordable than his other letters (Quantum, Global and Emerging Growth).
Maybe a year and a half ago, I did a special trial subscription of Hulbert Financial Digest, ranking investment letters. Emerging Growth was one of the long-term (20-year) all stars, and I believe it was number 1 for that period. Blue Chip Growth was ranked only a few spots behind it. Both had very respectable records. I was happy with my sub to Blue Chip Growth, and may jump back in on his current $99 subscription offer. All JMHO, of course, and look carefully before committing any money to any investment letter. Good luck.

Hi, Hangdog. Glad you are feeling better.
I don't have PM, but would appreciate the info you have gathered. Thank you very much!

If we can get "MM" to stand for "Making Money," I will be quite pleased. There have been times when it seems more like "My Mistake," but that's just healthy skepticism talking. I think we have a winner, just a bit of an aggravating one.
And now, speaking of "MM," time for a little "Margarita Madness!"
Have a good day, all.

Indeed. Lots of us looking forward to the Quode roll-out and excellent days ahead.
That said, we've been through the ringer a bit of late. Highs and lows are nothing new around these parts. Probably our own fault for tracking this stock too closely day-by-day. It's gonna happen, but that d--- pot is slow to boil while we are watching!!
OT, I'm thinking of starting an "Investors Who Want a Piece of Toby" board on I-Hub. Guaranteed to be number 1 in traffic right away...!!!!

The kid's got enthusiasm, I'll give him that......
Now if we can just get a few more mutual fund managers who feel that way...!

Success (and Elliot),
Well stated. What goes around does, indeed come around, in all aspects of life. This includes both personally and professionally. NEOM did the right thing here, both because it was the RIGHT THING TO DO, and of course, the positive exposure doesn't hurt.
Business is business, but not everything can or should be accurately reflected on a balance sheet. Goodwill is priceless. And once again, one of the greatest lessons I have ever learned in life, is "When in doubt, DO THE RIGHT THING." It will come back to you. And I think NEOM gets it. jmho
Best,
mo-money
NICE...!
The "BIG" Picture keeps on coming together. Sometimes maddeningly slow, but it is gettin' there!
Now, back to the adult beverages! Good weekend, all.

Translation for non-texters: Ohmigod, Utah teen excels at texting
Saturday, July 29, 2006; Posted: 9:31 a.m. EDT (13:31 GMT)
DENVER, Colorado (AP) -- A Utah teen with fingers of fury is once again the speed text-messaging king of the world.
Ben Cook, 18, of Provo, returned to the top of the cell phone text-messaging heap Friday at a Denver text-off, blazing through a 160-character standardized message in 42.22 seconds.
The phrase used for purposes of professional, competition texting is: "The razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality they seldom attack a human."
The feat was recorded on video and scored by an official timekeeper, validating it for Guinness World Records purposes, said Sara Spaulding, spokeswoman for the event sponsor, Jump Mobile.
Text messaging, already popular with teenagers, is becoming increasingly popular in the United States, jumping from 2.9 billion a month in 2004 to about 7.3 billion a month in December 2005, according to a survey by the CTIA, the wireless industry's trade group.
Cook in 2004 snagged the world record by texting the official phrase in 57.75 seconds, a record that soon fell. Before Cook's feat Friday, the record was held by a 23-year-old woman from Singapore at 43.24 seconds, which was set on June 27, 2004.
