Walk, we get those type of calls, but not sequentially like that.
The caller, in our case, sez that there is a problem with Windows on our computer. They want to log into our computer to "FIX" it.
Yeah, "FIX" it by putting their spyware on it or even taking it over to spam email.
DON'T DO IT!
Hang up, or do what I do, try to waste as much time as possible.

P.S.
PW has a marvelous write up on how she does the waste their time thingie.
As is often the case, the write up is Damn Funny!
Missouri Rodeo Clown…
I know why the dems/libs/lsm are so offended by a Rodeo Clown participating in a Missouri Rodeo wearing a “0” mask.
Any Guesses?
The Rodeo Clown, in their eyes, is simply trying to gain notoriety and popularity by horning in on their messiah’s exalted popularity.
Id
P.S.
I’d love to see “0” in a rodeo bull rider ring as a clown.
After 8 seconds, or much less, this clown would make a fantastic jump shot with his own body into a basketball hoop (conveniently installed in the ring above the bull’s reach).
P.P.S.
The lsm would be agog about the potus's’s athletic ability, and never show nor mention the “brown area” clearly evident on the rear of “0’s” trousers.
Thanks LH,
Here is an appropriate YouTube video done by Ray Stevens...
Mr. President:
Louie Palu was embedded for a while with my Son in Afghanistan in 2006.
Before moving on, he gave my Son all the pictures and videos that he had on his ‘puter with the stipulation that he did not “publish” them.
I spent two long nights going through my Son’s external hard drive with the pix and videos. Never saw them all.
Absolutely Fantastic!
Here is Louie’s website with different (great) slide shows:

You are mostly correct in your presumption.
Although I do not directly celebrate the Fourth, I highly respect it and all it stands for.

Happy Independence Day!
May everybody here have a great and safe Fourth of July.

....this was the best I could do....
That was much more than sufficient!
I thank you, and the Beagles thank you!

Thank You, K².
I didn’t do much… some paperwork, watched TV, hung out on the ‘net.
Then we went out for supper.
The weather was gorgeous. 84°F with a light breeze and not a cloud in the sky.

Thank You.
You even included a Beagle in your post.

"Benghazi was not a coverup, Iraq WMD was"....
Uh Huh... What about the OVER 500 TONS of yellowcake shipped from Iraq to Canada in the post Saddam era?
The U.S. Department of Defense sez:
http://www.defense.gov/news/newsarticle.aspx?id=50430
Of course, when cornered, the libs will argue that Saddam was merely attempting to help Israel solve its energy crisis…
By having the entire country glow in the dark.

I have no idea why this worked, but am thankful it did…
Probably… There is a capacitor connected in parallel (or sort of in parallel) with the battery. The capacitor, with the battery removed, would still supply juice to the memory and perhaps the clock. Moving the jumper with the battery removed likely drained the capacitor thus allowing the reset.
That’s my guess.

Heh, thank Oblivious not me.
I just provided the link as my proof…

Winter here has not been bad. We, so far, have not been subjected to really cold temperatures, but a couple 12” snowfalls. Fortunately, most of our snow is the light fluffy stuff desired by ski slopes.
Sublimation and melting are still in effect.
Have I ever mentioned that I Hate Winter?

A slippery slope indeed.
I Googled “ drone strikes ” … I was surprised at both how many times they are/were used and the “body count”.
I view drones as a tool such as a bomber, a fighter bomber, artillery, a tank, a grenade, a rifle, or a pistol. And few military personnel are at risk.
Yeah, the libs would be all warm and fuzzy until one of their own was in the laser’s sight.
Id
On the other side of the coin…
I am not against drone strikes against American, or other nationalities’ citizens, who the evidence against such people clearly proves that they are TERRORISTS. Too many criminals, in criminal trials, “Get Off” by good lawyers and stupid juries and stupid judges, even though the evidence against clearly shows guilty as charged.
Now then, my point is that:
Obama Reported to be Dismissing Military Leaders Who Will Not Fire on Civilians, if Ordered
There may come a time when such U.S. Military Leaders may determine that in order to protect the Citizenry of the U.S. against the ILLEGAL Removal of any Amendment to, or The Constitution itself, such action(s) may be required.

Math Error:
I divided 23,126,937 KB by 1,000 to get 23,127 MB and again by 1,000 to get 23.1 GB.
Problem was I did the division in decimal not binary.
The correct math:
23,126,937 KB divided by 1,024 = 22,585 MB
22,585 MB divided by 1,024 = 22.1 GB

My Win7 laptop takes 2 to 3 hours to fully scan around 52 Gig.
Under MSE / Settings / Scheduled Scan there is a “Limit CPU usage during scan to:”. By default mine is set to 50%. Dunno if this applies to a Manual Scan as well. Worth a look to see if it is throttled back?
Also… How large is your Browser Cache? Clearing it would eliminate stuff to scan.
Id
I agree also. iHub has image storage but I don’t believe it has audio storage.
You could upload them to a website and link to them there, but you may run into copyright problems. ISPs usually provide some space to their customers, but I would not do that linking as it could/would expose your private identity.
Try searching for a particular song online and link to that site.
I would start with a YouTube search as it has great content.
Anyone else with any suggestions?

Go ahead Walk, ask your question(s).

You should be OK.

Without gutters the water coming off the roof, in time, will erode a line in the soil, probably killing grass etc. They also keep away some water falling on steps, decks etc.
With gutters, the downspouts also will provide a method (if used) to direct the water away from close to the foundation.

For a little remedial viewing…
There was an EMMY winning NOVA (PBS) two hour special called “Battle of the X-Planes” that was released in 2002. (It was to have been released in 2001 but September 11 got in the way of that.)
NOVA visits the world's two largest aerospace companies to eavesdrop on classified meetings, fly revolutionary planes, and examine the rivalry between Boeing and Lockheed Martin to build the most capable and versatile fighter ever--the Joint Strike Fighter. Filmed over four years, this film reveals the breakthrough designs, heartbreaking setbacks, adrenaline-fueled test flights, and the winner of the most lucrative contract in military history.

Yeah. Of course all our three Sons are “Special”.
I am convinced that he taught himself to read with those books.
At age five or perhaps four he came up to me with one of the aircraft books, pointed to a word in a caption sentence below a picture, and asked what that word was. I told him and its meaning. He acknowledged that, turned and walked back to his room.
Then it dawned on me… He asked about that singular word… That means that he knows all the other words! Holy Crap!
Id
NAH!!! I like my screen name.
I chose it well as I, at times, can relate directly to it.
Actually, I chose it well before signing up for any message board.
It goes back to when I was 21 and 22 and Saturday mornings were spent watching cartoons on TV with other housemates. Good Times!
Id
Yeah. I like and have seen them both. The B-17 up close (static display) and the P-51 parked on the other side of a wire fence.
The P-51 was an older model than the “D”. I took our then much younger eldest Son with me. He had developed into a military aficionado specializing in aircraft. Pre-Kindergarten we would go to the Library and, probably because his Grandfather served in WWII as a pilot, besides the kids’ books he started taking out Coffee Table Books on Military Aircraft. Later on he progressed to Army and Navy books.
During Gulf War I, at work, we watched the CNN military briefings. The first one mentioned F-4 “Wild Weasels”. Huh I thought… That’s a Vietnam era plane… What is that doing over there? When I got home from work, I went directly to him and stated that they were using F-4s there. He immediately responded “Wild Weasels” and explained their role there. At age 13 he was our go-to guy whenever something new came up on those CNN newscasts.

I then made it my business, when finding an older teacher, to ask if education had been "dumbed down."
Get this!.. I find that term Politically Incorrect!
When a young un, I was taught that “dumb” meant “mute” period.
Yeah, that was a long time ago.
Wiktonary has these definitions:
Adjective
dumb (comparative dumber, superlative dumbest)
Unable to speak; lacking power of speech.
His younger brother was born dumb, and communicated with sign language.
(informal, pejorative, especially of a person) extremely stupid.
You are so dumb because you don't even know how to make toast!
(figuratively) Pointless, foolish, lacking intellectual content or value.
This is dumb! We're driving in circles! We should have asked for directions an hour ago!
Brendan had the dumb job of moving boxes from one conveyor belt to another.
http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/dumb
I suppose the etymology of the word to include “stupid” came from the belief that a mute person was so.
I looked up “dumb” in a 1988 dictionary. In a 1/3 page column… six lines were about “mute” one line was “inarticulate”.
Oh well… The times are a changing.
The story was very interesting.
I suppose the best a Parent can do is instill in their offspring the ability to think for themselves and question authority (without getting into too much trouble.)
Id
I read the complete story then went back to the video and watched it.
Great story! I recall, some years ago, reading about them finding each other but I don’t remember if that story included what had happened originally. If it did it did not provide the detail your story did. Thanks for that!
Bonus! After the video finished there were links to other videos including P-51 Mustangs. That plane is my all-time favorite! An hour or so definitely not wasted watching them.

‘Nother Update: Teacher who gave zeros…
The teacher who was suspended for giving zeros for uncompleted assignments etc. obviously was offered a severance package that he accepted. In mid-October, 2012 he started teaching at a PRIVATE SCHOOL (K to 12) that specializes mostly in bright (highly intelligent) students.
That seems like a perfect fit for the teacher and the students.
The Principal resigned his position at the high school and was given a job, I believe, in the school board’s HR department.
Can you say “Peter Principle”?
On radio news today is a sound bite from a media (PR) person from the school board stating that next year a new policy will allow grades from 0 to 100 and / or D to A.
The 0 to 100 I agree with… BUT D to A… No way Jose!
Where the F is the “F”?.. let alone the “A+” or the ultimate “A++”?
To me it seems that the school board is still bound up in PC!
Fidiots!
Id
At the time, I heard it on the news… once or twice only.
It wasn’t until I looked into it today that I found out that it was over 500 tons.
Somehow the LSM failed to mention that!
Id
Yeah, what about the OVER 500 TONS of yellowcake shipped from Iraq to Canada in the post Saddam era?
The U.S. Department of defense sez:

Although not weapons grade, it could have been processed at the nuclear facility to become so.
That will be the LIBS’ excuse.. Not Weapons Grade!.. No WMD!
