yes, this is all speculation at this point- unless you have some inside info?
BTW- a buyout would be 100x better for shareholders than .0020 sp. of an in-op company.
Companies don't 'usually' close their doors because they have large contracts...never heard of this...they just tell prospects 'we have long lead times due to large orders'....come on you can do better than this
BTW- I never state my opinions as 'fact'.
A Uber Moto Meter World Wide Product Launch and press tour may be a good prospect in the near future. This would have a major impact on their IPO Market Cap.
Uber will prob. want to repackage meter and make improvements to their specifications- UberMoto Meter.
I hope WM negotiates both a cash and Uber stock buyout. Analyst predict Uber Market Cap could be in the Trillions in a few years- that's 20x to 40x plus current Market Cap of $50 billion.
IMO
My chrome browser was Indian...This is great news and maybe the missing link. I'm a believer and have changed my religion to 'world motor'. I trust the IP has huge value.
Col...Thanks my Indian Language isn't too good and didn't catch it- "Moto Meter" but this is great news!
the answer- not compliant, who cares?...the possible reasons WM no longer markets meters:
> sold out over a month ago- killed Website/ phone number
> new owner waiting for announcement for some reason- some kind of timetable? Maybe competitors? IPO?
> new owners not concerned about marketing product at this time for some reason? New product launch?
None of this makes any sense...why stop marketing meters??
Maybe...I wonder who they sold out too? The aren't opened for business anymore...hope someone with very deep pockets.
Maybe all the recent press provided here about 'meters' is FAKE NEWS!....?
Imagine what a partnership announcement with Uber or Ola for moto taxi meters would do for out sp. A new Defever 49 for me.
The MISSING LINK is that we've seen no foreign press about the 'Moto Meter'- this is concerning to me!
Surely you know WM has feature rich, app enabled PATENTS in 22 countries for Digital Taxi Meters- not sure why you are here?
public companies sell out everyday to larger companies!
Most start up companies exit strategy is to either to go public (WM already there at $.0017) or sell out to a larger company. I know what I would do.
The WM patent talks as much about auto taxis as much it does about motorcycles and 3 wheel vehicles. Works with all and is totally interchangeable.
Imagine UBER controlling Digital Taxi Meters that are patented in 40% of the world moto taxi countries. What would this do to their Market Cap?
Very Interesting- UberMoto Rocks!.
Time for some leaks to drive up price!
maybe...WM is a dead company, not marketing product to anyone
Indian mandate states that Indian Digital GPS Taxi Maters are too expensive for many drivers....I believe our meter is less expensive....?
Uber or other needs WM IP Technology for it's competitive advantage in the Moto taxi Market. If they see $10 Billion business opportunity, they would certainly pay $1 Billion (10x ROI is normal in business valuation)
UBer or other look at the long term revenue stream- 5 to 10 year out
Thanks. I doubt WM has any intent of existing (no Web site, phone number, no new busineetc.)...they need a deep pocket company to ramp up production, hire support people to work with dealers around the world, engineer new features, admin. etc. $100m revenue needs 1,000 plus people,
Something big is happening....I hope
I wonder how much WM has spent so far to generate reported $1500 revenue- $8 Million or so ?
Yes, that's the way I operate large custom jobs in China but infrastructure- admin, support, shipping, etc. is expensive. You would never want to ship product that can't be supported...BIG BUCKS! This is why UBER and others raise billions.
Krystal may be great, but for WM to dilute share price by equity financing $3M to $5M to get started means our price per share will drop dramatically!
Stop the BLEED, sell IP for $1 Billion!
"Krystal Microsystems' engineers are currently preparing the assembly line and manufacturing process for production builds of the Moto-Meterâ„¢. Shipping is expected to begin in 6-8 weeks.
Giles continued: "After a detailed analysis, we selected Krystal because of their ability to meet all of our requirements—including line availability, lead times, speed of expansion, technical expertise, and terms and pricing. We look forward to shipping product and seeing Moto-Meters in operation around the world."
Krystal Microsystems is a contract manufacturer and design company located in the Navanakorn Industrial Estate in Pathumthani, Thailand. Led by a veteran Silicon Valley management team with more than 50 years of hands-on experience in product development and manufacturing, Krystal employs a highly skilled approach to manufacturing and assembly."
what was the 'actual' delivery?
A small contract house will have high prices/ low margins to WM. Certainly an option to get started. For 100,000 meters at $30 each= $3,000,000 not counting the admin and support people needed.
For WM to build and support 100k to 1 million meters they would need as a minimum of $5M to $50M.
They could use 'contract manufacturing' as they do now at low margins or build out their own factory for an extra $10M or so.
It would take six month to a year to ramp up and hundreds of employees.
I hope they sell IP, I make money now rather than waiting years for share price to increase!
The 'meter' mandates in India bodes well for WM IP/ Patents for both auto and motor taxis (and elephants).
Our Vehicle Management Patents Provides:
> same meter works in both auto and moto (and many other means of transport- Donkeys, Boats, bikes, etc.)
> digital, GPS based, wireless updates
> Data Logging for safety and many security features
> Weatherproof
> Patented in 22 countries- but not yet India (?)
Issue: how soon can WM deliver 100,000 plus meters to India? Hopefully, WM has been working on this for over a year!
Who cares?-FARE is a dead company, no need for Q's and 10's. The value is the IP.
I agree, 10K may not happen- may not make much sense. Financials certainly would be needed to move WM forward for funding, agreements, etc.
we may need to payoff the patent office!
interesting...India can't seem to make up their mind
"The Fancy E-meter and Panic Button
According to the rules, all cabs must install electronic meters, printers and panic buttons.
The drivers are opposed to this as they have to pay up to Rs 45,000 to install the prescribed systems, and if they operate for both Ola and Uber, the cost would double as they would have to install two systems. And this, when the Uber or Ola apps already have an in-built billing system and panic buttons."
Maybe, maybe not...
"The official, however, didn’t completely dismiss the possibility of separate mechanical fare meters making a return. Instead, he added that the union government will most likely be satisfied with the validation of the fare calculation software but the decision to include a separate meter in cabs lies in the hands of the states."
Ys, I was a smart a$$ also grat DD -bad kyborad
10k was 2015- I doubt they had any other plans at that time.
oh really...Uber India is installing meters! posted here many times.
I'm buying because I think they partnered over a year ago with a deep pocket company. They killed Web site because they no longer market meters- someone else does or will. As a two person company hopefully they have turned over production to a company with resources to do so.
App Meters are the future in many countries per the press you provided!...thanks again! Maybe I will make some money from your DD.
I wonder how WM obtained 22 patents around the world, including China. Has Uber built a meter yet?
Either you believe 22 patents around the world is valuable (in the years to come) or you don't. I'm sure many thought UBER, Amazon, Tesla, Apple were nuts also.
yes I figured. Thanks for the great DD you do- you've convinced me something is real here
You are the best poster in this board, although I don't like your attitude. WM should have raised venture capital ($100M) at the beginning to launch the company. The company has suffered by their bad decisions- but they made a good decision to obtain 22 patents- which in the long run may work out for someone.
Yes, WM is a FAILED Company! This why it trades at .002. Is a turn a round possible? Maybe by Uber or other- I think yes.
