Did I get this tweet wrong?
AmpliTech, Inc.? @AmpliTechAMPG · Jun 20
"Great trade show for $AMPG in Hawaii #IMS2017. Prospective new sales channels and reorders leading to more sales. PRs soon"
-CEO F. Maqbool
Maybe if Fawad would actually provide press releases regarding new orders in a timely manner (like he tweeted), this tanking wouldn't occur. Unless he's hiding something. Will this amateur ever learn?!!
in the .05s now with earnings in less than 2 weeks? Really?
On the bright side, this is the busiest this board has been in quite a while. So there's that.
There is NO WAY he is finished posting here! As I wrote before, somebody broke him.
Somebody broke him.
I'm holding for the longer haul but I'm still pissed at the earnings mistake, error or whatever and now apparently sitting on any explanation. F*ing Amateurs!
That explains the delay in reporting.
Forget my previous forecast.
The price has been back and forth in the .09's. So it looks (for now) to be settling in at a P/E of 16 (ttm diluted). I'm forecasting NI to be around $200-250K in Q1, which seems to be a fairly conservative estimate based on booked orders carrying over into 2017. This would put the NI ttm at a minimum of $870 or .01 per share. And if the P/E holds, that should push the stock to $.16 by mid-May or sooner if they make any earnings announcement prior to filing. Just my opinion.
The stock is in a holding pattern until investors have a more definitive amount of booked orders heading into Q1. If they book $800-850 in Q4, they wil only have around $200-150K heading into FY17 without additional booked orders and excluding any accretive sales from the new distributor. Even if they post big Q4 numbers, investors need to know with some certainty that this growth can be sustained.
Well, you know they mismanaged the PR when the stock price remains the same after the earnings beat ALL expectations. Amateurs!
Great numbers. If they do 850K Rev in Q4 (which is plausible), Fawad will have delivered on his 50% increase in Y-O-Y goal he mentioned in the Q2 release. Interested to see the total booked orders in Q3.
Yeah, I had a friend of mine tweet him a little while ago and ask for clarification on the earnings release. I needed peace of mind.
If someone here has a twitter account (I don't), perhaps you should send Fawad a tweet to get some clarification on the earnings release. Traveling or not, he had time to tweet out today to try and get someone else interested in the company. Perhaps he needs reminded of his earlier tweet about the earnings. It would be good idea so that we don't see the stock decline until the earnings do get released.
hweb, you and I got burned before from terrible guidance. Remember SYEV? I'm trying to forget it. I know this company doesn't compare but its still makes me skeptical.
I agree that a good earnings report will cure all. And I have read your earlier posts. My Q3 forecasts are close to yours. I'm at Rev 600K (low) 650K (high) and NI at 93K (low)124K (high). I kept SG&A at 195K for both Q3 and Q4 and bumped up Interest a little. I figured the SGA should be close to Q2 because of the trade show expense in Q3 and bonuses in Q4. My biggest concern are the booked orders. Depending on what they report in new orders from the trade show (and excl. the 700K from July), I'd like to see them book another 800K to 1M in Q4 to set up 1Q17.
BTW, I'm sitting on 1M shares @ $.019 acquired Feb through-Apr.
That's fine but why tweet that you intend on releasing earnings this week without any follow up to the contrary. The smart thing to do would have been to not say anything, and then pleasantly surprise us with a week early release. It's amateur hour.
Is anyone else a little disturbed that the CEO waits until after the market closes on a Friday to release what we believe to be good news? At this point I'm thinking he should wait until Monday morning to get a better bang.
Never mind. Just read the press release. "Q1 FY 17 Guidance is for a decrease in sales and net income versus the prior year Q1 in FY 16." Full release.....
Seychelle's Announces Earnings Up 173% for FY 16 ended February 29, 2016 Over Prior Year. EPS was up from ($0.04) to $0.05 but not higher because the NOL has been used up, with the Company paying higher income taxes and a lawsuit settlement expense.
In addition to Sri Lanka, Seychelle has added India/South Korea/Philippines as territories for the new World Advanced Filter Product to make filter-only sales where water is not disinfected. We plan to initially sell our advanced filter products and ultimately move to filter only.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) June 16, 2016 – Seychelle Water Filtration Products, a DBA of Seychelle Environmental Technologies, Inc. (Seychelle or the Company) (OTCQB: SYEV), a worldwide leader in the development, assembly and sale of proprietary portable water filtration bottles made several announcements today.
For the Fiscal Year ended February 29, 2016, Revenue was $10,910,067 compared to $4,305,205 in the prior year, an increase of $6,604,862 (+153%). In addition, Net Income of $1,032,941 was an increase of $2,438,849 (+173%) compared to the prior year's Net Loss of ($1,405,908). The Company incurred $308,000 during the fiscal year related to a lawsuit settlement. We anticipate no further costs in the subsequent year related to that lawsuit.
Q1 FY 17 Guidance is for a decrease in sales and net income versus the prior year Q1 in FY 16.
Based on our sales history with a limited number of customers of the new pH20 product line, with both pitchers and bottles which increases the alkalinity of tap water to between 8.0 and up to 9.5 pH, , we plan to aggressively expand this new product line to our other customers due to its profitability to the Company.
Other new products include the new pocket pump and the standard pump for home, travel and disaster preparedness.
Finally we anticipate that the new World Advanced Filter Product will also substantially enhance our sales effort due to its profitability as well. To support this new product we will help source the bottle and cap. We plan to add Exclusive Sales Agents and Exclusive Distributors around the world including Sri Lanka, India, South Korea, and the Philippines and to ultimately maximize shareholder value with this product.
Gross Margin dropped to 29.7% in Q4, compared to 50.9% for the first 3 qtrs. They shipped lower margin products during the qtr. There was 100K in asset impairment charges plus an additional 90K in SG&A in Q4. Yeah, this quarter was a disgrace. No wonder they were hiding it so long. I'm guessing they pushed revenue into Q1 of this year, and considering those results are due out in less than one month, I'm holding until then. I'll get a clearer picture of their growth after Q1 results.
I joined the board yesterday, and found out quickly that there's a 3 post per day limit. Yes, I bought some of this stock over the past 3 months. After re-re-reading their last announcement, I believe you guys will be correct. Strange guidance. But I'm hoping for an under-promise / over-deliver situation here. Again, we'll see what happens.
If that's the case and they post $375K in rev and a net income of say $20K for the qtr, the stock price should be anywhere from $.024 to $.04 per share. We'll see in a day or two.
Could be. Maybe I misinterpreted it.
No. The company has a 16% increase over the first 3 quarters of 2014. Q3-Q1 FY15 Revs of $1,107 vs. Q3-Q1 FY14 Revs of $952 = 16% increase. Since they generated over $1M in orders in Q4, they'll book the amount they shipped during the quarter, which will include any orders generated in Q3 that didn't ship during that quarter. I conservatively expect revenues in Q4 to be above $500K, possibly $650 and the rest of the orders will most likely be recognized in Q1 FY16, or when they ship. If they don't get greedy and give themselves large bonus' for the first profitable year in the company's history, they should have a FY15 net income of $150-$250K. Given and industry avg. P/E of 24.9,according to Yahoo (but lets assume a P/E of 15 to be conservative) that should put the price anywhere between $.05 and $.08 per share. But who really knows with penny stocks. I've seen these things go much higher...or not at all.
