Re: They shoot themselves in the foot
"I've just got this feeling it may have more to do with the way specific bullboards sites handle remote or redirected links, "
No it has everything to do with stockcharts and not the boards.
Ihub is a special situation as they have some arrangement with stockcharts
The stock boards are filled with images like this now as stockcharts does not want their servers to serve up the charts with no ads even though the posted are paying
This is an image of a chart and it will show here but if you post this image on most board it will show that little white box instead
They shoot themselves in the foot
A registered user posted his chart on a website
http://stockcharts.com/c-sc/sc?s=$NDX&p=W&yr=4&mn=2&dy=0&i=p87251621555&a=88...
But if people go there they see the message that to view the chart they need to go to stockcharts.com
Duh! = they are already at the site
seems stockcharts misses the big picture
They no longer support links the paid user posts?
I am a paid user and I also get this message when I try to access the link above.
What good a a shared chat service if you cannot share them?
Can you imagine YouTube saying to see the video you must first go to YouTube when you are already on the site
Gold end of day two different prices
I am saving some charts for a newsletter and Gold end of day I see closed up $12.75 as I was not watching in the day.
But then I pulled up the chart with no annotations ans is shows down though both charts have closing price for January 12 - how is that happening
I suppose they will fix this later but very strange
About stockcharts no longer in many cases not showing charts on message boards it is nuts I think. The images above are snapshots hosted by file den and it is free and there is image shack and maybe 10 or more other totally free sites and they will host all your images but when we want to show a quality live chart on a message board stockchart no longer in most cased will allow it. I understand they do not want to host but we pay for the service. What good are charts if not to share - so we pay to annotate then do not pay to go to another sit to be able to only show snapshots duh! If stockcharts wants to attract more people who can share live charts then they need to allow it. Itis totally nuts.
You can use maretwatch or profitnet or mr swing or many other sites and post live charts but they are free but we pay at stockcharts and can't.
here is a live chart form market watch and no big whit window sayign you need to go to there site to see it. If we could only annotate the ones at marketwatch then all would be ok as we could switch to them
Weak ones sold on good news
The company has been trying to raise the $7 million for 6 months and now they announce they are starting to be a success with it and the stock drops even though the company now has a couple million more bucks. They plan to keep buying companies over the years so we hope they will continue to raise lots of money. At this point the number of shares is not so important if it contributes to future growth. Some people are a bit nuts as they buy when a stock spikes and sell when they should buy.
Again stockcharts on rampage
They again like a few weeks ago are blocking most charts on boards
Of course we subscribe mainly to share charts and they don't want us to do it...
PnP - enough with the comic book kiddie porn
This is a stock board and you should remove that image -
actually even the name you use is rather discusting
RE: usertm
years ago if you made a new site or changed you primary DNS server it could take a day or two to update around the word.
I set up a new site in April and in 15 minutes you could reach it in USA ands Europe.
It is silly that they did not, as you say at least put up a page as they could reroute traffic in 15 minutes.
Have no idea why they would not have a backup server anyway at other locations as they have 10s of thousands of subscribers so they should of course have a back up in place
Mr Swing's charts work fine
These are decent charts and show intra-day though not in real time

5-min charts
If you need 5-min charts then you will want streaming
quote.com has them very cheap
stockcharts down but they also cutting back on service. If you posts chats on most message boards then now often no longer work. The main reason IMO for subscribing to stockharts is to share charts with others and if they no longer want you to do so -- it is nuts. YOU can instead save static charts then store them on a free server to post...duh. so many free sites support you images but stockcharts whom yo pay will not. Makes no sense

Wish they would fix the editing
I guess they only have a part time person to change code.
If enough people would write maybe they would fix things.
If you are looking at your lists using candle glance or 10 per page and you delete a chart you get taken back to the fist page again so if you are on page 6 you go back every time. It is so simple to change the code so that after a delete you go back to the page you are one so you can continue. If you are editing many it is a huge wast of time and you need to each time remember which page you were on the way they have it now.
Another thing is the Public Page. If you have marked up charts and want to show them then you have to put them all in one folder. If say you have a folder for Internet stocks and one of the chart you want to make public - you have to copy it to the public list so if you do any future editing you have to edit two charts not one. IT is so easy to fix this. In every folder next to each chart yo simply need a box to check if you want to include this in your public list and you move or copy nothing. The public list gets made out of the "links" you selected. IT is really simple to set up but they have not done it. When they do it and you "delete" charts from your public list the charts actually stay where they were and only the links is deleted. IT is such a superior system and easy to implement so with they would do it.
The lat thing is to give us a search function so we pt in a symbol and it gives us a list of in what lists that chart can be be found. Again it is a very basic thing to have and they should have done it many years ago. We all know how much of a pain it is to want to find a chart yo made a months or years ago and cannot find it.
Re: 9 month revenue = $51.9 million
Amazing to me - $5.7 million a month in sales - they buy parts and sell them and some they assemble or produce. The idea is to buy at one price and sell a bit higher or to buy parts and add value to them then sell the units for a profit.
Even if they only mark up the products 25% that is over a million a month in profits. So why does it cost them so much that they cannot make a profit?
You would think in selling $50 million at a minimum they would at least have a couple million in profit. At this rate selling more does not necessarily mean a profit and that is why the stock is not going up. If they can't make a profit on $50 million then why will they with $60 million?
I know many small business that do under 10 million in sales a year that make very good profits. I own the stock so do figure they will eventually make money but do not know why they cannot seem to do it now. They should just make a rule - what ever we are doing we need to make at least 5% as a real profit. At lest that would show $2.5 million.
It is not so hard. You buy or build some solar panels and it costs say $7,000 so you add maybe $3,000 and sell for $10,000 then give the sales person 10% and keep the $2,000.
Honky1186 - maybe CC wrong term
Most here listened to the Interview - so I should have called it that instead of CC - and this is with Wieland Koornstra. I wrote in a un clear way in the last post
the basic text here

and audio interview with Wieland Koornstra, here

What Barry said is unlikely
Barry said,
“The people behind the stock are smart enough to bid everyone who has restricted paper and take them out and not have it go to $2 to $3 and then have them hit the bid”.
So who is behind the stock? Meaning who may be at the bid? The smart ones – who are they?
Of course anyone with restricted paper would likely know more than most others so it would seem unlikely that they would sell at this price so have no idea whom Barry is talking about.
The only insider selling lately is from Peter Klamka who is using the company as his personal bank as if he were not getting paid for his job.
He sold 150k shares in July and 225k shares in October. Seems to me he should stop his personal selling. He is not doing a great job anyway as he does not even get the SEC filing done in time. He did sound good in the CC though but why all the selling of shares.
So what Barry said seems like nonsense. Any logical insider with restricted shares is not going to be selling now (other than Peter) so the first part of what he said is meaningless. As to the second part – it is sure not up to those who “are behind this stock” to bid out sellers at $2-3 as that is what the market does.
Anyway unless there is totally a different idea that Barry meant, what he said means nothing. He seems to be repeating something he was told and he did not think about it first.
Last year they filed Dec 14 this year also?
They filed the late notice yesterday - wish one time they would just file on time - but that is one reason the price is low.
To build up some confidence they need to be on time each time.

Thanks Quasi
So I see, you just set the Price indicator to candle - I had never done that and also had never noticed the height.
Though on the lower chart no colored candles. anyway now I see how it id done
No Quasi - it can be done at sockcharts for sure
I posted the picture as a fast way to show it. I have been a user for many years but just do not know how to do this but it is one singe chart that contains two or three charts in it
Someone else may know or I will call the company to find out as I found the help files of no help in this
Just look at stockcharts
http://stockcharts.com/c-sc/sc?s=$SPX&p=D&yr=0&mn=7&dy=0&i=p30090996080&a=89....
or the short version
http://tinyurl.com/y68qqd
In this example of course you can change the symbol int eh address bar to whatever you want and end up with two new charts but you cannot annotate. I have maybe 5k charts stored with them and would be nice in some cases to do two in one like this.
Thanks - and remember to send a note to stockcharts to ask them to implement a search engine - not hard to do but they ae slow to do it
How to make stocked charts?
I did many searched on stockcharts but cannot find out how to make two or three charts appear on one chart like this
http://tinyurl.com/yxar73
Also hope that everyone keeps writing stockcharts and asking that they include search- Have no idea what is taking so long. We all know that if you have many folders it is hard to know where some past charts are and a search is an easy thing to implement so you could type a symbol and it would show you which of your folder has this chart.
Why the selling as company close to profit
This is weird - the company did good sales last year - still no profits but pretty close. Yet the stock keeps selling.
Knobias shows that they have a billion shares authorized with about 26 million outstanding. Obviously if they had a billion authorized that would be an explanation of the selling.
I know there may be no catalyst for buying now as solar is not so popular a sector at the moment as oil prices have declined.
There may be some short sellers but they are not a stupid group so they would have to have a reason for selling. Maybe the former shell had some bad things?
Anyone know why the selling?
They are down again - 7PM EST
they sure go down a lot
trying to get some work done but guess they are down again
will look at http://bullcharts.com/ in the meantime and swingtracker etc
Thanks
Strange the QT people did not think of that
So what does a subscriber do?
If you email them a alerts data file every night then they have to overwrite the one they have each day?
That is fine if they only trade what you send but most pople have their own alerts set also.
That is the reason I ask but cannot seem to get ans answer.
The website says it is a "one click" process to install into QT each day so I thought yo may have had another method other then overwriting the file.
Re: Blank space
Thanks but I see no box named "Extra Bars".
wait - I see it only shows when you have limited days showing - like 3 months - if you have a start date it does not show.. a mistake to fix - thanks
How to put blank space on chart
I have seen a chart where the candles ended but the background continued on the right with blank space (but background) for days or weeks - it is good if you want to annotate what will happen in the future but I do not know how to add this space?
Thanks for any help
Re: Hi Alan,
No I am not asking how to get alerts send via email.
I am asking how can the daily alert list be sent to a user by email and then install into QT in "one click" as the QT people did not know how but I read it on a website.
And the second part of the question is if doing this (whatever it is ) will overwrite any alert the users already has set?
Thanks
I asked Medved how one could email alerts and they said the only way was to send the alerts.dat as there was no import function fo no "one click" way to do it
so if you are sending the alerts.dat then that would overwrite all alerts that had already been set by the users
is that true?
Will it be $26 tomorrow???
That's what I'm takin' about
Nice move today -- booked some good profits - no news that i see
No rabblerouser
This is a shell. It did a split when it was formed years ago.
Now they are negotiating for a merger. Meaning that an existing company will "merge" as a fast track to be a listed company in the USA markets. It is much cheaper and faster and the price would then go the the company worth so if a company worth 100 million (stock wise) were to merge then the stock price would in that example be $1.45.
They filed the 20-F annual report
so are now back in compliance as they work towards a reverse merger
You can still listen
go to company website and link it there for CC
I got today at 0.25-0.27 seems good risk/reward
Did not know they had a CC
Loss was much higher but that is not the play anyway - it is the future orders so I think this is a buy.. not on TA but on speculation that they will receive orders
A good Acquisition
I think this a good thing for company for sure
http://tinyurl.com/m36yt
so weird that the stock is not up a lot
bluediamonds - most able to trade
My broker IB and I think most professional brokers made the change before the open so can buy and sell fine.
"Unless of course the price of CSHD goes up considerably from the projected $15 open"
As you can see the stock did not open at the mythical $15..
a company cannot just make up value all of a sudden unless they get some real contracts etc
So we buy at close today and gt $15 tomorrow
I heard the CC with the CEO and that is the deal - he guarantees it
Seems not too many people believe him though
thehavenots its is not shorts
".......bashers and short selling conspirators that ruined our stock!"
Short seller cannot do anything to a stock if it is worth the price. If people thought this stock was worth $2 they would buy all the short sellers out -- would not matter how many millions of shares were naked.
JIMWJ ..AISS is a SLAM DUNK for CVSU
Right - like I said - have you seen anything about $$$$
any real deal does Georgia Aerospace even know CVSU and do they have any business. Why would CVSU get any money from this..
Did you even listen to the guys on the call -- They have no current business and no past experience
Nothing shows that they have any ongoling business at all and no income
JIMWJ aiss
good try on what?
can you tell me on the supposed Joint Venture AISS- what part does CVUS have in it ? What percent and what financial arrangements and what is the profit and the expenses??
can you tell me all of that ?
There is no evidence of any ongoing business that they are a part of- did you read the SEC filings? It is a dram - and idea now
re: ok so whats the market cap on FHAL
they said there is 111 million shares
so 15 times 111M = 1.6B
and company has no income and a few idea - a coffee shop and band who makes records a horse barn and on line lotto
and a lot of bonds they want to back by having people buy stock - like an investment club where they figure one of the many questionable ideas will pay off...
you notice how much time the CEO is spending on pumping instead of doing any real business?
If he thinks anyone is bothering to short at this price - yikes if it got to $3 or above they would really pile on.
sceptor yes
"Thats exactly what he said happened. You didnt listen to the interview huh?"
If you read my post you would know I heard the interview.
It is obvious they did not buy up all the shares as it is trading 6 million shares today - if the company and friends had bought them up then there would be no trades....
yes mastaflash
I listened to the interview - they guy thinks they will control the lottery in most states and get tons of government contracts etc....
They are like an investment club so to speak and buy up worthless companies and fund them to spin them off...
CMGI does that..
But the CEO here is saying no way to loose and you will get $15 a share and $100 likely in 3 months..
If the SEC heard him they would take the wind out of him in a heartbeat.
If the guy was that sure of anything there would be no shares left s all his friends wound have bought them all bak at 20 or 30 cents...
