Hey Guys, my sympathy is with all you guys who will sustain massive losses. You guys are like family and I feel for you, honestly. I believe I told you about a month ago that Patient was planning a 1 for 10 reverse split with massive dilution to drive the price down to around $1-$2 again. I believe UBS is trying to liquidate their position. I haven't spoken with Boyd and was not able to get ahold of him today. Yeah it sucks. For what it is worth I don't believe there is any plan to create value here. They are only doing this so that they can utilize the capital markets to raise funds to pay the Odidi's massive salaries.
Fred
Wow a lot of canard going around here. It is in all likely a reverse split which would require a vote from shareholders. From what I heard from my contacts at UBS though is that they are not about to dump the shares on the open market. They have a plan for disposing of the shares. I believe Patient said it is going to be a 1 for 10 reverse split which would with the following dilution hopefully put us back in the mid $2 range like we were a few years back.
Fred
Hey cjckent, we are working on it buddy, I was going to take initiative and start moving this along but it would appear now that Boyd is going to be doing the heavy lifting here which is fine as long as he gets it done. Sit tight for the moment and I'll update you if I hear anything.
Fred
Hope is not a viable option at this point. It is obvious that Odidi does not care about the company. WE need to see what WE can do. Maybe its reaching out to Armsitice and Sabby. I don't exactly know. We need to find our Robert Duggan though. PCYC was in the exact same place. Apathetic management headed on a disaster course until Duggan stepped in. Odidi needs to go. Otherwise we lose everything.
Fred
I'm all in favor of change. I'm not sure why everybody was so quick to dismiss the idea of removing Odidi. If we leave him in play I'm fairly confidant we get nothing. I'm willing to listen to arguments for leaving him in play though. I'm open minded. But right now I'm in favor of removing him.
I don't know exactly who would be right to replace him though. I don't have all the answers. But these are the questions we need to be asking. Is there somebody better? Is there something we can do collectively to make that happen? There are a lot of us here with a lot of shares and a lot at stake. I believe that doing nothing and allowing the company to go bankrupt is a mistake.
Fred
If nothing else perhaps we could in the least force better communication. If they do indeed dilute as we all suspect and then do a reverse split it would be very easy for Odidi to lose control and for someone else to take over. We could very possibly get some control of the company.
I say we stage a coup. Just like Robert Duggan did at PCYC. The company had a ton of potential but was on a collision course to disaster. How many shares do we have total amongst everybody here? I have close to 100,000. I know others do as well correct? Some more?
I say we have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Can we get somebody onto the board? Maybe we can get Odidi ousted. What does everybody say?
Anybody have experience with the pharmaceutical industry? I haven't served on a board in over 10 years. Maybe one of you guys from Canada? We could strategize and maybe create some influence as a team here. I don't think that sitting idly by is going to solve anything.
Fred S.
Looks like the two additional strengths of Focalin were launched
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/intellipharmaceutics-reports-launch-additional-strengths-154500672.html
Fred is correct in this situation. Its time for some people to perhaps see the full picture instead of only seeing what they want to see. There is another offering coming. How low? I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Potentially a lot of negative news coming.
I feel that at this point I would be too embarrassed to show up to the Las Vegas party so I'm going to have to pass on this one fellas but good luck to you guys.
I remember hearing about the successful phase one testing for Rexista back in 2013. Since then they've had 4 years and many delays in order to test this "rexista" and file the NDA. Well what in the hell were they doing with all that money the last 4 years?? Focalin sales and ATM?? Were they just standing up there in Toronto playing with their nut sack all day or what??
Number of shares outstanding is irrelevant. You close consistently under $1 you either reverse split or are delisted per Nasdaq regulations.
However many shares you have now divide by ten and that is what you will have after reverse split come September slash October.
Betting window has closed. IPCI Halted as of 6:55 this morning. Code T1.

What is difference between launch and commercialization of Seroquel? They said Mallinckrodt successfully launched Seroquel but that the quarterly profit sharing depends on them successfully commercializing Seroquel?
Still a lot of unknowns at this point. No real Idea how much revenue we will receive from this. Plus litigation from Purdue is going to be really expensive.
Mallinckrodt in talks to potentially sell its generic drugs business. Potential reason for lack of product launch.

I believe he was being facetious. Or perhaps Sardonic? I mean I'm just trying to read the little smiley face at the end of the comment.
Thanks for the Laugh Fabius. Much appreciated this morning.
In the short run the market is a voting machine. In the long run it is a weighing machine. I would concur that at this point the company appears to have consistent reliable income in near future with many potential catalysts. I too will start adding shares in the next few days.
Nah, thats not what I've come to know from Impact. Hes a bit more reckless with his buying tactics.
Anyway, any word on sales for Generic Seroquel for Endo and others?
Here is the article I was referring to from Labor Day weekend in 2014. It seems they like to target Major Us Holidays for releasing news. Seems counter intuitive to me but I'll trust them on this one.
http://www.in-pharmatechnologist.com/Drug-Delivery/James-bond-like-tech-is-the-end-to-overdoses-says-formulation-firm
You recall they announced on Labor day weekend two years ago that they filed for the patent and the price popped by about a USA dollar. I don't expect anything now though, much smaller float back then. Easy to create a pop like that.
Is there another place we can gather if the site goes down again? should we start a facebook group perhaps? Or is there another site?
Professionals?
Here?
HAHAHAHAHA
One guy has never been to Canada, One doesn't even own a suit, and one "claims" to be buying "hundreds of thousands of shares" a day
I will admit though to having learned a few things here over the years, the only reason I still check in on weekends. And for that reason I'm very thankful for you guys. For those not in the states, this was Thanksgiving week, a major holiday here. Something Mr. Odidi was oblivious to?
Can't wait to meet everyone in Las Vegas! I'll probably wear a suit though. Where I come from, that's how we do business.

Endo began shipments of Seroquel today.

Marc Benioff owns 35 million shares of Salesforce. How many shares of Salesforce do you have?
Fun! Fun! Fun! 3rd quarter earning are coming up here. A couple of questions:
What does everyone think will be 3rd quarter sales of Keppra for IPCI?
Do you guys still think we can have NDA submitted by the end of August?
How much Cash left on hand?
How many shares in the new offering and at what price?
Fun! Fun! Fun!
Nah your right, the road to riches is paved with people who pointed fingers and blamed others for their problems...
Should we start a count down until they submit their application??? negative 8 days to go folks!
I agree with those sentiments. Management here has not proven their ability to accomplish things in a timely manner. A lot of uncertainty and risk associated with that.
What are the chances, in all seriousness, of getting FDA approval if they never file the application? What are the odds of garnering a partnership, or marketing it themselves, without an approval? The odds are likely next to nothing or perhaps nothing. There is no free lunch coming from the FDA here in the United States.
I understand that some people care a lot about this company and believe it can achieve great things and benefit society. But some people don't trade stocks to support the company but instead to make money. Mixing an emotional attachment to a company is never a good idea.
Its not that difficult to understand. For example, I believe that the macro market will go up tomorrow. Why then do I hold major short positions in a number of major indices? Because even though its likely the market will rise tomorrow, it will likely go up by a small amount, the losses are minor. If it goes down it will likely be a significant amount. 60% chance it rises by .5% or 40% chances it falls by 3%.
It makes sense to hold both short and long positions here. If it goes up, it will likely be significant, if it goes down, which is significantly more likely, it will be a small amount.
You definitely might be able to buy lower but not by much, so a small short position in contrast to a large long position makes sense.
If I were to hazard a guess, Sprot is likely here to make money. Not to support the hopes and dreams of those emotionally attached to the company.
Its important not to fall in love with companies. I'd bet that a lot of people, myself included, have personal attachment to such companies and perhaps were looking through rose colored lenses, but that isn't a good excuse to throw money down the toilet. I think that buying under $2 is a decent bet, I would not pay more than $2 for a share, and I've never missed any huge rally to $50 or $100 in this stock.
Almost all of the worlds sales (and Abuse) of Opioid based pain killers are in the USA. The rest of the world is almost negligible. Also, if the point of the drug is to deter abuse (as I understand it, it is) then the sales will drop considerably being that an enormous part of that 3.2 Billion is abused Oxycontin. The actual market for Legitimate Oxycontin use is considerably smaller. Things that need to be remembered.
Well, you just said, disaster, as EXPECTED. Correct, it was expected, thus the reason the price is near $2. Wall Street and finance is all based on expectations. And this company met expectations, so it will probably stay right here.
What is the typical dress policy for those who will be attending. Do people still wear suits or is it more business casual? What type of donuts do they have? If I'm wearing a suit I don't want to indulge in a white powder doughnut.
Is there a reason to go? I'll certainly go if there is a reason to be there. I was under the assumption that there isn't any real reason to be at IPCIs annual meeting. Obviously they can't release new information. But if there is a reason to be there I'd certainly go, I'm right across the border in the US. Meeting is April 19 in Toronto, Correct?
They are clearly living paycheck to paycheck, cashing shares every Friday to bay the bills on Monday. If they had an alternative source of financing or a partnership agreement why would they continue? Q1 earnings has to be released soon, but my money is on it being released Thursday April 14 at 11:59 PM.
Its important to remember that we need to remain emotionally unattached. Fall in love with sports teams, hate terrorists, but don't fall in love with or hate companies. Otherwise every time the ship sinks, you go down with it and potentially lose a lot.
I most definitely want to see this company succeed but I'm not willing to sacrafice my long term financial security for them. I do really appreciate those of you on this board who do hold long term shares though because you guys create the levels of support for this stock. I also really appreciate all the info that you guys provide on this board.
I would concur. I'm a long term believer in this company and want to see them succeed in an industry that is in desperate need of innovation. Unfortunately there will be opportunities in the future to buy at lower prices.
People have been claiming this is a $10 + stock for a while and its on its way in the distant future so there is plenty of time to wait and buy.
I've held large blocks of shares at certain times, I sold big chunks late last week when earnings wasn't released. Company has 90 days after year end to release earnings and when they waited till last minute (literally) to release its a sign that they are hiding something. I will buy back in at under $2. Ive been able to do that consistently with success over the last 5 years and have faith I will be able to do it again.
A/P up huge compared to last year, with only $400,000 as of last week. They are literally days away from being financially insolvent. I don't understand why that doesn't concern you guys. Everyone else is clearly thinking about these things.
In the United States, Bernie Sanders is not yet elected, which of course means that not everything is free yet, and IPCI will have to find a way to finance its operations. Where is this money coming from? The most likely scenario is serious dilution. I hope I'm wrong, I still hold a few thousand shares, but I don't believe I am.
