Thanks, Gold Seeker!
Maybe just a bad IDEa to talk about...
(But beware of the IDEs in March)
"Sold out and gone..." Not me, Dog. Bocxman got me here to stay.
That is the last place to get unbiased answers.
The shipping cost does matter. But not enough to prevent ANYONE and everyone from using the product. If I knew the product was all that was advertised to be, I would purchase it if I had a dog in which it would help. Yes, the cost does matter, but not to the EXTENT that it has.
Alere spent a million dollars on their gamble that Abbott would lead the way and do the heavy lifting. It was a gamble that lost but like most of the Longs here, probably worth the gamble at the time and even still might be. It still might pan out, if it does everybody would make unbelievable profits that occur maybe once every couple of decades. If you're in, it is foolish to get out!
That's fairly easy. It's not costing them anything (they already made all the payments they had to)going forward and there is still a chance, even if its 1 in 1000 that their semi-exclusive license might amount to something viable. There is no reason to walk away from it outright and could even be embarrassing if they did...
"Just don't care to post on the Goldseeker board any more."
Goldseeker has been much closer to the truth than anyone else.
That is a fact and denying it is no less than being able to deny reality.
As much as it hurts, eventually reality must be faced before one can mentally recover, if not financially!
(Nothing would please me more than being wrong about this.)
Gold Seeker,
I sincerely hope you get better and out of all pain. I have been a stockholder here for over 7 years (haven't sold since the Stock was over $3.00) and one of the very few stockholders who appreciates your postings. Some of the nirvana postings years ago did nobody any good. The truth will out and your expertise is appreciated (though you may not see your anger at your loss here) at least by me. Get well soon and in spite of those who wish only good news, keep posting.
Good Post tentacle.
Are you also trying to yelp that Doggie Recaf's bark is louder than its bite?
"I wouldn't get too worked up about carefree, it's another one of Gold's aliases."
From reading nearly every message on this board for over five years I would very seriously doubt that. The writing style has been different and they have conflicted with each other years ago. I guess he's getting to you too, to make a wild charge without any basis except assuming ALL who point out anything negative must be in league with each other. That kind of paranoia is not healthy in my opinion and is not good for BOCX in the long run.
"You're posting as FACT that I do not own shares of BOCX."
That is a legitimate charge O.K. The ones you think are too negative are succeeding in diminishing your credibility. Post fact, label opinions.
I have been a long for over six years and don't like one sided comments only -- on either side. Gold is negative but it helps sometimes to see the worst.
One can dismiss his opinions but not so easily his facts -- so that is where his value to me has been. Don't let him get to you where you are so frustrated that you begin to lose your creditability. There IS positive. There IS negative. Spin is human nature but don't be afraid of it if you have real facts.
Inverness, in my opinion, is being quite clever. They have paid for a "semi-exclusive" license but if Recaf works out well, they will have, for all intents and purposes, a virtual monopoly and huge head start on the profits. They may even have the potential to outmanuever Abbott (a senile giant) and we may even behold the spectacle of Abbott coming crawling to them. That one million dollars may turn out to be a very sensible, if not downright cheap, gamble because IF Recaf turns out to be a blockbuster, even any future "semi-exclusive" licensee will be so far behind and may have to go to use Inverness's proprietary reagents after all. There is a possibility that Biocurex will have made much more from Abbott based on its license deal if Abbott went ahead, than Biocurex will make on Inverness (though, obviously it will save Biocurex and make all but the greedy, quite whole). In my opinion, regardless of outcome, Inverness, has been much $marter than Abbott.
The share price NOW to Investors (not speculators) does not matter. I have HELD (and bought a little) in the last six years. The price is definitely going to go way up or down as things settle. Any volatility now, again is just for speculators, gaboy. Gold has done more good than harm even though he is the exact opposite of a cheerleader. But most of the time he protects himself with the truth (even though he spins it more than he should). No investor in his right mind, only wants to hear good news even when the facts don't warrant them. Unfortunately, that is not the case with a lot of the speculators here.
Very good mcd2inga.
Then the only reason the stock is way down is dilution?
"What will dictate the direction of testing will the medical costs." *And profits*.
The fact is that Inverness paid a million dollars to be licensed.
What IF they are not dumb?
A short squeeze would be nice. I haven't sold one share of this stock in over four years. It may be time to buy a bit more...
If true, that is pure manipulation. I don't think Federal Regulators will continue to put up with that indefinitely if many stockholders e-mail Biden, or any Government officials at the SEC or their superiors to put an end to these surviving Thieves of Wall Street's "practices".
If they do, it will be a tip of the small cap to this generation of regulators and their legacy.
Goldseeker,
Your last post practically says it all. Most realistic analysis of the company I have read in some time. I do hope you can keep it up.
At a bankruptcy announcement?
Gold,
Sorry to see you go. Hopefully the whole truth won't go with you.
Thanks, GS. I am a stockholder and it is through your efforts that we won't get "blindsided" if the worst happens. The information you provide is not easily discernible without a lot of due diligence that the average investor will not do. To many with a vested interest, the truth can be unpleasant and if not good news, it is something that too many don't want to hear. If you are wrong (which I hope) I will be laughing all the way to the bank (as I am not selling) but the worst thing for me, is not to have known the worst before it may happen!
But thanks for your work, it is appreciated.
odd Kelly,
I also have between 50,000 and 100,000 shares and agree 100% with you. I get suspicious when anyone has an axe to grind and uses it to take a swing at free speech.
The "bashers" have said things that make shareholders uncomfortable. If they were lies, that would be easy, but what makes them formidable is the correlation between what they say and the truth. In some instances, they have pointed out facts that were not so easily otherwise discernible.
Many of the charges against them have been shown to be false and that makes the demand that they be "banned" and even worse, that this board be shut down probably as a last fitting tribute to Russian Communism (as that is how they operated) is totally uncalled for.
If this stock makes it or not, is not what people write on this board that will be the ultimate decider. And taking out frustrations (or posting what amounts solely to gloating for those that are out) on others and attacking other people only shows one's own pettiness.
O.K.
"I am sorry Great Grandma, Erthang, and Mysscat and the many other shareholders that were scared of losing their investment by following the OPINIONS of lay individuals that spend 24/7 to convince you that recaf is not viable."
I did not know that Erthang sold. Missed that -- where was that written? I have bought over time and have not sold since the price was over $2.25.
I have still not sold one share from my position but Kag your posts and Gold's have been essentially accurate and factual. I can only hope that your conclusions turn out to be wrong but I wouldn't invest in those shares...
Actually, I'm with you dog. It just doesn't pay to sell!
But being realistic, I think there is about a 25% chance that this stock will hit its highest high again. The odds are against it but are still higher than a lot of other gambles out there and at least the cause is still noble.
(But things are still rough, rough and when all is said and done we can be barking up the wrong tree.)
Odd Kelly and Gold Seeker,
Two excellent posts.
Great. Now if you hear anything (Dogs' ears are supposed to be better and can hear better than others) let us know. Because things here are getting rough rough...
The three networks did a "Stand Up For Cancer" special recently. Was any work of Biocurex (if not the Co. itself) mentioned?
I think the defense dept could use Biocurex's skills in keeping so much of its work Top Secret. The NSA could learn a lot from this company <G>.
I guess that right after someone buries their head in the sand, they are too foolish to realize that their wallet comes next?
Guess your right and I mistook your sell for a buy based on what I saw as the wrong color on my monitor. OK, Ted's right again...
Think you are factually wrong on that Ted. There were only 5900 shares traded today (as I write this). A few hundred early in the day and a 5000-5500 block recently which was a BUY at the ask of about .29 within the last couple of hours. That's it. No painting at this point.
The .29 was purely the result of 90% of the day's volume coming at once and at a legitimate ask.
I would GUESS that the very low Bid (and hence large spread) is due to the very low volume today in total compared with the average volume these past few weeks.
Odd Kelly,
As a long who has had this stock as long as you, I totally agree with your last post. I will remain here and also am interested in all viewpoints.
"PS-Do not kid yourself, some on this board sold today."
Ted, in this you are very correct. At very close to noon Tuesday,(not today anymore) 50,000 shares were sold and it seems they were sold as a block while most of the rest of the day were smaller buys. Of course I believe someone is still playing games.
I also still believe that this stock, right now , is worth in the .50's but as as long as the hedge has an "interest" they will do their best to keep us under .60. But that is interesting too, as it is not in their interest for them to lose control to the downside either, as what happened this week.
For me, I was able to get some more shares at .19 which I haven't been able to do for over four years.
This stock, RIGHT NOW, is worth .55 and I believe it will be back at this level very soon.
What do you mean? I have had faith in this stock for over 5 years. Haven't sold a share for over 3 years and was able to scoop up more today at .19!!!
When opportunity knocks -- as it has today-- I open the door.
Actually, I believe they had revised the "agreement" or Abbott MIGHT have returned the license but in return for not having to pay the $50,000 they upped the royalty for RECAF, kept the agreement (with changes) but ever since the GE sale was anticipated, would not actively work on anything in that area. If BOCX could do their work for them, why return the license as it at that point was a win-win as far as they were concerned. They had to license Recaf in the beginning at LEAST as a defensive move as IF it took off, it could seriously hurt one of their big products.
