Does anyone know of any plans to reduce the OS? I feel like that's the final chess move in this game.
Do you foresee a buyback occurring to reach that end of the year goal?
Level two trading.
It allows you to watch much more detail regarding the individual trades being put in. It shows MM action, and the rankings of the bid/ask inputs.
Right here.
Those 1's were being troublesome. I still have a hefty bid in at 1's, but may have to move those over to 2's at this rate.
Still a steal, imo.
Gonna pick up 25m at 1's. Here's hoping for some stellar July news!
Probably in stride of financing news. Probably hear something next week or the coming month if term sheets.
Yahoo Finance forums has more of an active group on the company if you'd like to get a broader opinion. Some successful investors over there have their hands in the pot.
This company is severely at the leverage of market conditions, and each passing month dwindles chances of a strong restoration. Consensus is Weis went dark to save on SEC costs while biotech (and the general market) decides which direction it's heading.
I have a hefty amount of shares in this, but I'm by no means blinded by the reality of the situation. If we get financing, the market has showed strong support in the past to $1 PPS. As I've said, don't break the bank.
I understand what you're saying. Circumstances revolving around this company are quite muddled; such that it belongs in pinks, truthfully. That said, I'll hold a modest position in the event of surprising news.
Wouldn't recommend breaking the bank to anyone reading in on this, though.
Yes sir. He went from PK back to OTC BB then to PK once again to OTC BB and now we're back at PK. The last reenlistment was November 2009.
Weis has went dark before, so I'm not too terribly surprised. Being the only employee with little funds or time to spare, I reason he did this to avoid the expensive and time-consuming quarterly filings.
We'll know in due time, eh?
Haven't seen the volume within the timeframe of the 13-G, so I'm guessing they were contractual. Anyone's best guess what price they acquired at, but I doubt they got them at par value.
Patience oughta pay out eventually. He did get three offers initially judging by the PR, so with the exception of market conditions the interest is there. Time will tell.
Looks like we've snagged another institutional holder (~2.35 million shares).
Hopefully we'll see what gears are turning behind the scenes soon.
Was probably just to make the quarterly look good judging by the timing of the 13-G, or else they wouldn't keep the shares.
The 10-K comes out this week sometime, so hopefully we'll glean a better view into how they closed the year. On topic of forms, the 13-G showed the unexpected news that our institutional investor didn't sell all of their shares (still sitting at 1.17 mill). Definitely a confidence boost.
OVIT typically has a run before it's announcements. It would be great if that was the case here, but obviously it's too early to tell.
Annnd I'm wrong. 2010.
Definitely bed time.
One correction to make -- I believe the AdnaGen deal was 2014. Not 2011. Because I know the have a three year window for the returns, and I'm pretty sure it's still in effect.
Caught me right before I went to bed.
One of the bridges was confirmed as $50,000 in the previous 10-Q (it's subtly mentioned in one of the financial clauses like halfway down). As for the other, we won't know until two weeks or so when the 10-K drops.
They had a 13-G filing last month or so that showed a reduced holding by one of their institutional investors I believe, but if I'm not mistaken, they were also the ones OVIT was in litigation with. If so, it would make sense they're withdrawing.
As for the settlement terms, they agreed on (if memory serves me correct) three payments over the next two years. If they aren't adequately met, the fines are heavily increased. It's also stuffed behind a corner on the 10-Q.
As far as I'm aware regarding AdnaGen, the deal is still in effect, given they hit major marketing milestones. I believe they have like a ~$62 million maximum return if so, but this was initiated circa 2011, and I wasn't following the company then.
Weis having 5.3 million shares is all that's keeping me tied in at the moment. If I catch word he's trying to relieve his position, it'll be a major red flag for me. That said, MM's are getting involved from what I gathered from a poster on another forum (based off the large volume trades at neutral prices), so that could either mean great news, or foreboding.
As a closing statement of disclosure, three of the four times I got ahold of him to ask a question or two, he conveniently tells me: "I'm in a meeting/I'm driving/I'm eating refrigerator hosing. Call back tomorrow 10:30 central." Not that I believe he wasn't in a meeting necessarily, but he has a terrible shareholder communication history, and I believe it's reflected in said behavior. Man's a legend in the pharmacology industry. Time will tell.
Made a killing from March up to June last year. Sold and rebought with a ~$0.20 average so far.
I've spoken to Dr. Weis on four occasions on the phone over the recent months and from what I gather (what he tells me) he's got very specific terms he wants financing on. Up to debate whether he's in a position to barter or not, though.
Average bridge loans operate on a six month basis, so he has until May to show us something before his interest soars.
We'll see what happens, but I wouldn't get knee deep yet.
I've spoken with Weis a few times on the phone a little over a month ago. Market conditions have delayed his equity financing a bit.
I've been trying to get ahold of him recently, but his phone has been nonstop busy. Which, could mean a slew of things.
10-Q's/other filings, announcements, and I briefly spoke to Josh Kimmel over the phone about a month ago. But, it always seems the people on the forums are a step ahead of me, so I figured this was a good place for me to dig.
Thanks, Mellow! Any insight into the company's decline, or is it chalked up to basic OTC factors like being shorted too much, and opening with a generous IPO?
I guess independent would've been a better word. The point I was trying to illicit was that I hadn't got any outside opinions before on the company. I've read a lot of the posts on here, but I wanted to ask a more direct opinion about the company because I've had a surprisingly hard time gauging some people's opinions.
Hey everyone! I'm new to this forum here, and I've been doing some private reading on this company, and I was curious what the general consensus was on this forum. Any insights?
