8 updates in first half of 2020, 2 in second half
Silence is creating lots of worried investors and patience being tested to limits. 182 days since the last financial report. I would have thought the OTC exchange would have chased down KWBT by now.
With that projected revenue of 30 million, why in the world can all the issues not be cleared up asap? Starting to doubt this is only about commercial notes to cash and there is some delay on their financials being allowed to be released.
Nobody knows of any specific deadline?
Soil remediation in Yangtze River Delta
I think there is connection between Fudan Science Park and Fudan University which could be relevant to Kiwa Biotech and soil remediation below.

Would also be great to hear back on the February 2020 PR to see if any deals from that agreement?

"Resolutely fight the tough battle against agricultural non-point source pollution"
Go down to near middle of page:
"Scientifically study and judge the severe situation of agricultural non-point source pollution prevention and control
Although the total amount of fertilizer used in agricultural production has been reduced to a certain extent, the application intensity is still very high, and there is still much room for improvement in comprehensive use efficiency. Since the reform and opening up, the application of agricultural fertilizers has continued to increase to a peak of 60.226 million tons in 2015. After the release of the Action Plan for the Zero Growth of Fertilizer Use by 2020 in 2015, the fertilizer application began to decline and fell to 54.036 million tons in 2019. The intensity of chemical fertilizer application reached a peak of 363.0 kg/ha in 2014, and has been declining year after year, dropping to 325.7 kg/ha in 2019, but it is still higher than the safety upper limit (225 kg/ha) set by developed countries to prevent water pollution. The utilization rate of chemical fertilizers has increased, which is still relatively low, and there is a lot of room for improvement. According to calculations by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the utilization rate of chemical fertilizers for the three major food crops of rice, corn and wheat in my country increased from 35.2% in 2015 to 39.2% in 2019, an increase of 4 percentage points.
The use of pesticides has decreased, but pesticide packaging has become an important source of agricultural non-point source pollution. Before the launch of the Action Plan for Zero Growth in Fertilizer Use by 2020 in 2015, the use of pesticides had continued to decline from the peak of 1.8077 million tons in 2013, and fell to 1.456 million tons in 2019. 8.8 kg/ha, much higher than the level of pesticide use in developed countries. The amount of pesticide packaging produced is huge. Due to the lack of a complete recycling mechanism, pesticide bottles and packaging bags can be seen everywhere in the fields and water bodies, becoming an important source of agricultural non-point source pollution, causing secondary pollution to the agricultural production environment.
Irregular, inaccurate, and unscientific use methods have led to low pesticide use rates, resulting in excessive pesticide residues in agricultural products and affecting the quality and safety of agricultural products. In 2019, the pesticide utilization rate was only 39.8%, and the part that was not fully used effectively entered the soil and water bodies, causing non-point source pollution, destroying the ecological environment, and affecting biodiversity."

Thanks for sharing weblink
"The Republican-led Senate passed the measure in May; scheduling a House vote now, under an accelerated process typically used for non-controversial matters, signals conditional bipartisan support."
August PR stated they still plan to release the three filings, well after they must have been aware of these sorts of international developments.
As your weblink shows, some think that all these new issues can be resolved. Since KWBT plans to release filings for market listing, it looks like it will need to become active to ensure they follow any new listing requirements, remembering it is a US company but has management and operations in China.
"we should be able to resolve that problem because it’s not an intractable problem,” Fang said at the New Economy Forum."
New procedures are another possible reason for the delay to filing. Another unknown is what the "restructuring of its’ US operations" looks like and if that is due to this developing situation. Many unknowns and nobody said there was certainty without filings released in black and white. Hence, PPS is in the dumps pending the updates.
Website is still up. OS updating last on Nov 25th. Photos of business promotion on Nov. 10th on their website at government sponsored fair does not fit with worst case scenario. I really hope they do not file too late for OTC Markets and cause problems down the line.
What was the response from SEC?
Do you or anyone know the exact date that OTC Markets will take action on KWBT for not filing?

China to see bumper harvest for 2020: agriculture minister
"BEIJING, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- China will see a bumper harvest this year, with grain production expected to hit an all-time high, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Han Changfu said on Wednesday.
Han made the remarks at the China Development Forum 2020, attributing the rich harvest to the country's consistency in prioritizing food security and enhancing farmland protections, agriculture technology and policy support.
China will consolidate its achievements in poverty alleviation and continuously advance rural vitalization in an all-round way in the coming five years, said Han, calling for more efforts to speed up rural and agricultural modernization.
Deeming agriculture a cornerstone for economic and social stability, Han said China has always listed work related to agriculture, rural areas and farmers as top priorities and paid high attention to grain production.
"China will unswervingly expand the opening up of agriculture, promoting bilateral and multilateral cooperation in agriculture technology, talent, trade of farm produce and investment," he added.
The world's top food producer and consumer, China saw its grain output hit a record high of 664 million tonnes last year, its 16th consecutive bumper year."

this is back to you. please add pressure back to resolve between broker and DTC and request written clarification on the removal of your TLON CVR position, if needed.
I just got a response. There should be no problem and the positions should not be removed from the owners.
Equiniti confirmed the Talon rights are still at DTC and will remain so until notified.
Basically, there was a one to one mapping for positions under corporate stock transfer to equiniti with no change in any ownership and this should remain the same.
In other words, your broker needs to consult with DTC and it should be confirmed between them. Otherwise, get broker to contact Equiniti to confirm. We should still have our TLON CVRs with potential for a payout according to terms of milestones being hit !!!
China, Central Asian countries promote agricultural cooperation despite COVID-19
"DEEPENING TECHNOLOGY COOPERATION
Apart from trade, China and Central Asian countries have continued to deepen science and technology cooperation in the agriculture sector.
In Uzbekistan, China's drip irrigation technology has been widely used during this year's spring plow. Abdullah Begmatov, 54, who has more than a decade of experience in cotton cultivation, is glad to use Chinese drip irrigation technology and expects a harvest of up to 4-4.5 tons per hectare.
The Chinese technology has displayed its advantages in all respects, Begmatov said, adding that the costs have been reduced by 40-50 percent from those of conventional cotton cultivation.
"Most importantly, we saved water," he said.
In Kazakhstan, Chinese technology has helped boost crop production, and the China-Kazakhstan Agricultural Innovation Park is a case in point.
The 200-hectare park in Turgen village of Almaty Region was built in 2015 by China's Yangling agricultural hi-tech industrial demonstration zone and Kazakhstan International Integration Foundation."

Agriculture demonstration zone advances SCO cooperation
XI'AN, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Yangling, an agricultural hi-tech industrial demonstration zone in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, has become a new platform for cooperation in agricultural technology and talent among the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Covering an area of about 135 square km, Yangling is located about 80 km to the west of Shaanxi's capital, Xi'an, where the ancient Silk Road started. The zone has witnessed deepening agricultural cooperation under the SCO framework over recent years.
The 27th China Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Fair kicked off on Oct. 22 in the demonstration zone, exhibiting more than 9,000 latest scientific and technological achievements in the agricultural field and advanced practical technologies at home and abroad.
An SCO training and demonstration base for agricultural technology exchange was officially unveiled during the five-day fair. A ministerial-level conference of agriculture ministers from the member states and a round-table symposium on the development of modern agriculture in these states were also held, according to the organizers.
Speaking at the fair, Vladimir Imamovich Norov, secretary-general of the SCO, called the base a multilateral cooperation platform for the SCO member states that can provide samples for building intelligent agriculture systems and farms while promoting the application of water-efficient irrigation technologies and development of arid and semi-arid fields.
Several modern agricultural research and technology promotion and application platforms will be gradually established in the demonstration zone, benefiting SCO countries, according to the administrative committee of the demonstration zone.
Ming Tao, director of the international cooperation bureau of the committee, said training the technicians from the SCO member states is important for the cooperation. "Various resources, including experts from universities and enterprises, have been included in the cooperative training programs," Ming added.
Ten rounds of training courses on agricultural technology and management have already been provided with more than 200 trainees from SCO countries participating in the programs, official data showed.
Meanwhile, as of 2019, Northwest A&F University in Shaanxi has trained 286 students from SCO member states in more than 50 majors, such as crop genetics and breeding.
Yangling has also helped the SCO member states to build modern agricultural demonstration zones thanks to its advanced agricultural science, education and training resources.
In the China-Kazakhstan Modern Agriculture Innovation Park, a 200-hectare agriculture park in Kazakhstan's Almaty region, experts from Yangling have planted 24 varieties of crops, including wheat, corn, soybeans and nursery-grown plant, which helped enrich the local planting models.
During the COVID-19 epidemic, Yangling initiated online training courses in agriculture technology in Chinese, English and Russian for the technicians, scientific researchers and farmers from the SCO member states, according to the bureau.
The online courses have become an effective way to increase the training efficiency amid the novel coronavirus outbreak, said Ma Jing, deputy head of the SCO training and demonstration base for agricultural technology exchange.
Underlining the significance of the training courses, Ma quoted a Chinese proverb -- "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."
"The training courses will further promote agricultural cooperation and exchanges among the SCO countries," Ma said.

Expected economic growth in China in 2021 supports the top down approach for a possible investment in KWBT. I can only infer from the August PR that we might get the Q3 filing on time rather than late since it appeared management were reassuring shareholders on this topic. If so, that Q3 filing could be around mid-November when comparing to 2019. With that filing, we can expect Q1 and Q2 at the same time to get them up to date.
How will China shape its new journey for coming five years?
"Aside from providing the general direction, the 14th FYP is more like "a super policy package" – setting quantitative indexes on many fields, including economic growth and environmental protection, and listing major programs and infrastructure projects affecting people's livelihood, Yan Yilong, a research fellow with the Center for China Studies at Tsinghua University, told the Global Times."

World Bank: China Economy to Grow by 7.9% in 2021
"The region as a whole is expected to grow by only 0.9 percent in 2020, the lowest rate since 1967. While China is forecast to grow by 2.0 percent in 2020 – boosted by government spending, strong exports, and a low rate of new COVID-19 infections since March, but checked by slow domestic consumption – the rest of the EAP region is projected to contract by 3.5 percent.
Prospects for the region are brighter in 2021, with growth expected to be 7.9 percent in China and 5.1 percent in the rest of the region, based on the assumption of continued recovery and normalization of activity in major economies, linked to the possible arrival of a vaccine. However, output is projected to remain well below pre-pandemic projections for the next two years. The outlook is particularly dire for some highly-exposed Pacific Island Countries where output is projected to remain about 10 percent below pre-crisis levels through 2021."

The Swiss investment bank forecasts China's annual gross domestic product growth at between 5% and 5.5% during the five-year period, and forecasts GDP per capita to rise to about $15,000 by 2025, up from the current $10,500. UBS said China will deploy measures to boost technology and consumption to avoid the "middle-income trap" -- in which a developing country grows rapidly for a time but then fails to catch up to developed economies."

Holding high banner of biodiversity
"Restoring and conserving valuable ecosystems
The government attaches great importance to the protection and restoration of natural ecosystems. Since the 1980s, work has been progressing smoothly on the Three-North Shelterbelt-the world's largest afforestation program-and the Yangtze River Basin Shelterbelt.
Shelterbelts are hedges or fences of trees to lessen the force of wind (and thus desertification) and reduce erosion, and therefore preserve the soil.
The turn of the century saw China adhering to a new concept of development, which includes integrated conservation and restoration of mountains, water bodies, forests, farmlands and grasslands. To repair the ecological damage, the government has implemented some key programs including those on natural forest resource protection; conversion of grazing land to forest and grassland; comprehensive treatment of rocky desertification; key projects of soil and water conservation; and protection and restoration of mountains, rivers, forests, farmlands, lakes and grasslands."

Countries Rush to Hoard Food as Prices Rise and Covid Worsens
"Agricultural prices have been on the rise as countries stepped up purchases, adding to demand from China and a drought in the Black Sea region. That has helped push the Bloomberg Agriculture Subindex, which measures key farm goods futures contracts, up almost 20% since June. Sugar prices have gained a boost as China replenished stockpiles, said Geovane Consul, chief executive officer of a Brazilian sugar and ethanol joint venture between U.S. agribusiness giant Bunge Ltd. and British oil major BP Plc.
And China could still add more fuel to the fire next year. The biggest importer of everything from crude oil to iron ore and soybeans, is planning to increase its mammoth state reserves as part of its five-year plan.
“China would certainly support commodities prices if it made such extensive purchases,” Commerzbank AG Analyst Daniel Briesemann said in a research note."
