If 'used' Hop-on phones are showing up, tr, they must have been produced 'IN QUANTITY' at one time. Great post........
Exactly, Mathias, and if they issued (public) financial statements (ie., quarterly profit AND/OR LOSS STATEMENTS) as 'back-up' to JUSTIFY a NEED(?) to dilute, it would be taken into account (ie., discounted) FAVORABLY by the investing public, imo......
Yes, mg, it was from your postings regarding the 1806 that you purchased on ebay (as I recall) that I realized it was somewhat unique (ie., a 'cute' little thing per your daughter and friends?) and that is what I keep looking out for whenever I see anyone using a cellphone. I, myself, don't even have a cell phone and only used one once when the commuter train got held up and the conductor let me use his to call work and tell them I would be late. Actually, it's unique size that you brought out in your postings, in my opinion, would also be a good thing to 'promote it' as a phone 'for kids' or 'teens' or 'fashionable' young ladies; and also, as an alternative to the 'Firefly' phone. The American buying public, however, needs to see 'somebody else' (ie., users from south of the border, perhaps) using a 'little' Hop-on before they decide that they want one of those 'tiny', little things for themselves......
Good point, lou, and maybe some of those 'south of the border' will bring them up 'north of the border' where we Yankees can see how 'cute' they are (except the 1813, of course). Just 'once' I'd like to see someone (anyone) using a 'Hop-on' phone; anywhere, anytime, anyplace; in church, in jail, in heaven or IN HELL...... just once, that's all I ask.....
I suspect that 'true earnings' have already been 'realized', lou, but not yet 'recognized' in a financial statement. Hasn't there been 'past' claims of sales to various third world countries and 'current' claims of sales to wireless excessories and wintec and now e-kit? Has it suffered a profit or a loss this quarter? I suspect in the past it has suffered a loss; but currently, I suspect (and hope) it is experiencing 'A GAIN'. A 'current' PROFIT AND LOSS statement, EVEN IF IT SHOWS A LOSS would do wonders for the pps in my opinion, both BEFORE AND AFTER a potential reverse split.....
Yes, ak, am able to view news on home page only without membership. Thanks for yahoo link, however.....
Will try and call (or email) T/A myself and ask for o/s. Will advise when I do. Continued dumping to be blamed on r&d I suspect.....
Good to hear, Lou. If financials come out BEFORE a r/s I think THAT would help to keep the new pps up after the split, but then again if shares 'continue' to be dumped 'en masse', then the pps will plummet after the split; but good to hear about MTDX.......
Found on Yahoo Finance link, akula, but not on money.net. Is that money-net.com?? thanks, dc...
It is the concensus of most, but not all posters, that a reverse split will take place in very near future.
Don't recall seeing it, Akula. Apparently E-markit is an Australian distributor. Certainly 'they' would be able to sell a phone with a kangaroo on it, and pps is UP 50%!!! Go Hop-on.........!!!!!
Everyone, check out message #54259 (from Jamie) on rb.. good news......
Perhaps it is the state of California, therefore, rather than the state of Nevada THAT IS AUDITING THEM, right now. Just a thought, dc....
Found it in the 7th paragraph down, Lou. It says, 'Hop-on Wireless AND Telespree Communications'.... Would Telespree be Russian for Telcel and/or Russian equivalent?
Thanks, Lou, then it MUST HAVE SOME REVENUE FROM SALES, right, and it should NO LONGER have to support itself with sales of its shares? Thank G--! Great post....
Thanks, PC, the main office of Hop-on is in California; so even though incorporated in Nevada it would still have to pay a sales tax too California, right? I don't know, just curious. Then again if it actually had sales, it would have to report those on its corporate tax return, but if it files no financials how would the state of California know if it had any revenue to tax? Everything that is going on with Hop-on may be 'tax related'. Just a thought.... dc....
Wow, we are RELEGATED TO THE ROLE OF MERE OBSERVER just like the article says. I also see where this controversy concerning management having PREFERRED stock comes from, with 30/1 voting rights over common shareholders. The state of Nevada allows majority shareholder both dilution and reverse-splitting privileges without notifying other investors. TOO MUCH... If only we knew 'how many' shareholders there now are, but then we'd have to find out how many 'preferred' shares management has.... What a bummer.... No wonder financials have been held up.... Thanks for the link, Mathias, really appreciate..... dc.... ps. MAYBE THEY 'DO' HAVE TO GIVE US 'ADVANCE' notice of a split, though, like you say; and that in itself, would certainly cause hesitation on the part of majority holder to call for one. Apparently, however, no 'advance notice' of the dilution was ever made, so then again, maybe no advance notice of a r/s has to be made as well......
Thanks, Mathias, but 'insiders' knowing EXACTLY when a reverse split will occur over 'other' investors certainly gives the insiders an unfair advantage as far as dumping of shares is concerned. Could that not be interpreted as a violation of the insider trading laws? By the time we 'other' investors become aware of a r/s the price per share will have already dropped to its old price due to the insiders ALREADY having dumped theirs.
Thanks, Mathias....; if so, that would explain (to me at least) why Nevada is the 'state of incorporation' of Hop-on. I think I read on IH or RB that 'most' of the companies that declare a r/s have been incorporated in Nevada.
Thanks, Entirely..... It seems we now have three alternatives; 1) to sell 'NOW' @ .0002 per share, 2) to 'ride out' the split and SUFFER the consequences, or 3) to SELL 'AT MARKET' I-M-M-E-D-I-A-T-E-L-Y after r/s split is announced.... We would be given AT LEAST five minutes notice, I hope. Was going to mow my lawn today, but maybe I better stay here at the board, just in case..........
Ah, so PM and DG would likely dump their shares IMMEDIATELY 'after' a split, so by not giving ADVANCE NOTICE 'before' a split, they 'have the ADVANTAGE over the OTHER shareholders. Is it not illegal, therefore, for them to 'call' a r/s WITHOUT GIVING ADVANCE NOTICE 'to' the other shareholders....???????
Thanks, Lou, I hope you're right.....
Thanks, Ragtime, the idea of 'getting away' from Hop-on for four weeks is a good one. There seems to be nothing 'we' as stockholders can do to prevent a r/s from taking place. My two million shares are worth so little now, that it is not even worth selling them and 'taking my lickings', as you say. It has been a 'wild ride' with Hop-on, however, and I cannot say that I 'totally' regret ever having gotten involved with this POS. There, I said it again, POS, POS, POS... Boy, that feels good. Have a great time at the ranch.... dc....
It sounds like there will be 'panic' selling right after the split. They need to announce a split at least several days 'in advance' before actually bringing it about to let the current pps adjust accordingly to .00000000000000000001 'before' the split.....
Yes, Billy, I too believe there will be a r/s. What I hope for is that financials will come out 'before' r/s, which may prevent pps from tanking 'after' r/s....
Ragtime, I'd like to know who is 'BUYING' that 30-40 million shares at a time. I suspect it is posters on this board or RB who are averaging-down and already have many millions of shares in their portfolio. Just a guess, dc....
Yes, I agree, that 1813 phone is 'butt ugly'.... Then again, maybe that will make it sell better. Those trac-phones in Wal-mart are 'drab' looking, but they seem to be selling well.....
Great post, again, trk, thanks.....
MB, I asked PM, several weeks ago via e-mail, what the chances were of a r/s and basically he replied, "Please don't believe everything you read on the boards." Perhaps you can get a response from him, as well, by sending inquiry to: peter@hop-on.com... Let us know if you do.. Thx, dc....
Good analogy, E.... What I see going on right now, is that 'huge' blocks of shares were dumped 'all at one time' until pps hit .0001 and then pps was allowed to recover on its own back to .0003. Now that .0001 has been hit, I suspect that the same procedure will occur every day until all 10 billion a/s are sold, or until r/s....... Thank G.., the pps cannot go lower than .0001 for the 'AVERAGE' investor, otherwise I suspect this procedure would continue until pps hit .000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001....
Is it just me, or did trading stop an hour ago at 351 mil shs?
Entirely, the lowest bid I am able to put in is .0001. Are you able to put in a lower bid? If so, this thing will average down to oblivian....
Just for enlightenment of fellow posters.... I just tried to put bid in for 3,000,000 shares @ .0001, but my broker, Charles Schwab, would not accept. Message said I had to put in at quantity of 1 to 999,999; so, now have bid in of 750,000 @ .0001.
Thanks, Entirely.......
FANTASTIC, E, HALLELUJAH!!!!! Go Hop-on!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, wtg, trk.... Great post!!!!!!! Best post I've seen.....
FANTASTIC!!!!!!! This post has REALLY made my day, Entirely; now I can do my taxes, and hopefully be done before midnight.
Interesting, Entirely, that is the EXACT time (1:34) that I show that I caught the 500,000 shares that I have been trying to get all week. I wonder if it was Charles Schwab that bought that whole block. Yes, I now have "2" million shares.
Yes, Entirely, I think akula is correct; it is Porky Pig that says, "That's all folks," and not Elmer Fudd. For trivia sake it is Mel Blank who is the voice, but you knew that, right? lol
It is the 'all or none' restriction that I put in that is causing the problem, I think, Wistock. The broker's software probably thinks, "Gee, a half million shares, that's alot of shares to buy 'all at one time' (the fact that it's only a hundred bucks worth probably does not enter into its analysis). If I was buying through Scottrade, for example, and the 500,000 shares was broken up into 'several buys' at $4 each that would come to a broker fee of $12, which I could 'live with' on a hundred dollar buy, but with Charles Schwab it would cost me $13 each and 'that', I could NOT 'live with'. Now that Hop-on is a SUB-penny stock, in other words, it is necessary to buy it through a DISCOUNT-discount broker (like Scottrade) rather than just a discount-broker (like Charles Schwab). JMO, thanks for everyone's help.. dc.....
