I know I know, just wanted something more. Thanks
I know I know, just wanted something more. Thanks
Hey Prudent, still have my prediction post flagged that you were going to review by the end of summer????? Pull it out.
Boys, I hate to be the pessimist, but this is not looking good.
WOW! MAJOR SELLING!
Sheesh!!! Closer than the dollar others have predicted LMAO!!!
I'm buying Prudent's version of the meeting....as if I was in the meeting myself. With the caveat it is second hand of course.
I agree.
Does it not alarm you that you can't pick up the phone and call the place of business? There very well may be a sale of assets, but you certainly aren't going to realize the "bargain basement" prices you jumped in at in the $.40s. I don't think you'll ever see another financial statement as I don't think there are even employees on the payroll anymore, including accountants and office staff.
Eh, price collapsed ~96% over the last year with zero activity lately. I'd say the market has priced this one with a pretty good chance of BK.
Nothing?? I thought we were expecting something to leak before the meeting. We can't even get anything to leak AFTER the meeting.
Nope, doesn't seem like they're real eager for everyone to hear something exciting does it?
I wish, but unfortunately I'm not a shareholder of record. Best of luck
I'm sure you'll have an opportunity.
Who? See many previous posts regarding Paul DiFrancesco (who is in personal bankruptcy court in California and happens to be the financial director.) Just who do you think are the "good folks?"
Think the leak has sprung?
EMERGENCY SHAREHOLDERS MEETING - What do we think of this announcement?
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/stw-resources-holding-announces-emergency-194409988.html
According to the WSJ this morning, 77 energy companies have now fallen victim to bankruptcy, with SandRidge being the latest high profile case. I realize most will claim STW is in the water industry, but let's be realistic. Up to this point, all net income has been due to the energy services division. I very loudly predicted the 10K would show a dramatic decline in that segment, and accelerate losses overall. JUST RELEASE THE REPORT, FILE, and lets move on....
10Q should be out soon...
That is funny...things that make you go hmmm...
Is it typical for a seller to emerge at 33% below the ask for a block of that size?
How about just a 10K?
Is that you selling today? Any word from the investor relations emails?
LOL, no it wasn't me. I don't have a Yahoo account, yet. Doesn't look like nearly as much pumping over there, so I think I'll just hang out here. Thanks for sharing though. Seems to go along with the FB poster (which I've been accused of creating, but think about the effort put forth to set that up, I had to fabricate this woman's life and manage that page for years just to create a post to bash STW, LMAO!) Of course this is all hearsay, but without a 10K or any reply from management, it seems to fit.
MFJ - You seem to be a real investor and have reached out to the company before, have you done so recently?
Where was this posted?
Mine, it was tongue in cheek. Sorry for the confusion. But, I'd like you to mark that post, and maybe we can revisit it later and see how far off I was. Would you like to go out on a limb and make some predictions?
Source please. West Texas has a warm semi-arid climate. It is dry, has always been dry, and will likely stay dry. That being said, lake water levels are not really exceptionally low compared to historic levels. Again, I live in the area, and it's not on local residents minds. It's no longer the dominate news story.
I'll go ahead and throw out some analyst projections just because we have nothing else to look at.
Water Revenue - Decrease ~80% QoQ.
Oil and Gas - Decrease ~15% QoQ
Net Loss for 4Q15 ~(2.8MM)
Anyone else want to take a stab at it?
Well....what now??? We're running out of things to fight about. Haven't seen a financial figure or heard a word from management in 147 days....
Is the 10K due today?? If they can't pay their employees, I doubt they can pay their auditors. Hell, I'd be surprised if they have any accountants on staff at this point. We may never see a 10K!!
Great point! Couldn't agree more! Prudent is likely to come in any moment and let us know that missing payrolls and being delinquent in payroll and sales taxes is pretty routine in this situation. Nothing to worry about, just load up and be patient. Home run coming up!
MISSED PAYROLL!!!!! From STWs Facebook page:
I don't find it funny at all...believe it or not there are people on this board that actually have real money invested in this crappy company. In response to your question of whether I'm serious or not, yes:
Somebody sure is getting rid of a lot of shares.
Well stated Rick, but....I disagree setting the odds at 50-50. More like 99.5-.05. Saying this is a 50/50 bet would be akin to flipping a coin at 200-1 odds. Of course you would make that bet. Just don't see an outlet for funding, not to mention the delinquent tax issues reported earlier. Don't believe enough attention has been placed on that.
7 YEARS??? THEY HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS 7 YEARS???? Let's take a look then
2010 Gross Revenues $-0-
Net Loss ($9.4MM)
2011 Gross Revenues $-0-
Net Loss ($2.8MM)
2012 Gross Revenues $-0-
Net Loss ($3.5MM)
2013 Gross Revenues $1.9MM (500k Water 1.4MM Energy)
Net Loss ($7MM)
2014 Gross Revenues 18.6MM (380k Water 18MM Energy)
Net Loss ($14.8MM)
HMMMMM....2010-2016 is not 7 years...They've earned revenue in 3 of those, and 90% of it was from energy construction revenue before the price of oil collapsed.
What is Woozyfly? Was STW in the Pet Food Distribution before I started following??? LMFAO!!! REVERSE MERGER!!!!!!
SHEEESH!!! I think it would be prudent for investors to reread this and review posts on this board. The quote I recall best from memory "Coiled spring ready to pop" LMAO!!
HOLY CRAP! I suspect some will accuse me of authoring that piece. That is STW to a T!!!! EVERY SINGLE LINE!!!
