Same here.
Someone seems to try to do stupid things... There's an ask @0.07.
Got a new message from IB. Now they changed ex-date: "ASNB@PINK (Name: EKIMAS CORP) announced a cash dividend with ex-dividend date of 20200424 and payable date of 20200423. The declared cash rate is USD 0.18."
Why is nobody buying? Doesn't the announcement of Mr. Kempers sound good to you? Is it the lack of further news?
I suppose we will get good news. If I had cash I would buy.
Got a message from IB. They write: "ASNB@PINK (Name: EKIMAS CORP) announced a cash dividend with ex-dividend date of 20200415 and payable date of 20200423."
Yes, I think so, but I don't think that will make any difference to the value we will get. They probably will do some calculation like I did, will rate their company, an the number of new shares will reflect that relation.
That's more or less the way I calculated.
It's only a simple calculation:
Value of ASNB shell is accumulated deficit and cost for doing an IPO.
That's about: 39000000 and 1000000.
Accumulated deficit goes into my calculation by the impact on tax payment - tax rate ought to be 21% in the US. Therefore maximum value should be (8190000 + 1000000) / 28300000 = $0.32/share.
My "fair value" is calculated by halv the tax savings 8190000/2 / 28300000 = $0.14/share.
The worst case would be to only get the value an IPO would estimately cost: 1000000 / 28300000 = $0.035/share.
In my opinion the main problem is to find a buyer perfectly suitable. They have to be willing to go public and wanting this to be done quickly or as cheap as possible. And this company has to be very profitable since only then they can take advantage of our accumalted deficit.
I think Covid-19 is not good in this situation.
I am wondering what's about that turkish Ekimas. I am only guessing: This company did a half-hearted update of their website. - If they are/were "our" Ekimas, I think that's through.
A bit calculation by me:
$0.32/share: The absolute maximum to get. To pay more than that wouldn't make any sense to the buyer - at least in my opinion.
$0.14/share: Fair value for buyer and seller.
$0.03-0.04/share: Absoute minimum, but unfair to us.
10-Q is out and I am left in uncertainty.
This time I believe you.
On Monday the 10-K is due. I hope to find something about Covid-19 in it.
Hi Mr. Adams,
we may be facing a new financial crisis. I hope everything goes well, but in the case this comes over us, I want to be able to make my own decisions about my money.
Therefore please pay the promised dividend very soon. Thanks!
regards
a stockholder
There are a few changes to the new/todays OTCQB Certification.
Thanks for the information!
Unfortunately that doesn't say anything about what company Ekimas Corporation really is.
Strange things in the US: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporation_Trust_Center_(CT_Corporation)
Minister of Economy was just on TV and said, that the company says: No.
@steel8000: $150/share? Are you a buddy of Trompete?
Soon you'll make a call that says: price/share(steel8000)==price/company(Trompete).
Wondering who is sellng this stock. I think there's hardly one more stable at these times. Perhaps someone got a margin call and has been liquidated.
ekimas.com.tr is online again after being under construction. The only difference I found is the address in the turkish version. Very possible that this is not "our" Ekimas.
I am disappointed about the late filing, and especially not yet having received the money. On 6th of Feb. ASNB already had the money and probably paid all debt. And on 3rd of Feb. they told us: "We anticipate issuing a shareholder dividend in the near future.". "Near future" has passed already.
They pobably ware late in filing last year to put things straight. Therefore everything should be prepared. Nevertheless they are in default again. On top of that for a quarter that should be normal.
At least we have no Covid-19 influence.
I suppose, that's the new address, but the photo is two years old:

Sattelite image looks different (other buildings, from 2020):

But who knows if that's "our" Ekimas...
ekimas.com.tr is now under construction.
They show a new contact address as well.
Why interesting?
There was a Mymetics address in New York I think years ago. I never read about it again.
Are there any numerical facts behind your dream?
Yes, thanks. I don't know what the O/S could become, but in case of a sale of the company they will surely try to get out the maximum.
The same calculation with current O/S gives $12.76 billion. In my opinion that is also a greatly exaggerated estimate.
I just want to see some realism. What impression do people get if they read such numbers like $42...
A/S is 1.2 billion.
$42/share means a potential market capitalization of $50.4 billion.
In my opinion such an estimate is completely shady and I think something like this harms.
Emphasis by me:
I am always thinking about why this company wants to be publicly traded in the US. They seem to need much money.
Attention, just a joke: For years Erdogan doesn't get the money for his canal together.
That wasn't my intention, only a hint on possible surprises. And there was nothing new, everything quoted by me is known for several weeks.
Some people obviously think ASNB is a good buy now. There were just more than $80000 on the bid.
Just a few quotes to help you sleep:
Yes, that's my real email-address.
I have just sent the pdf.
If I remember correctly (it's more than 3 years in the past), I received that through my broker. But I also had a little email conversation with Steve Sukman.
Shareholders like me/us had no chance to vote against the merger. From the pdf:
I think you are by far too late to get the payment. Unfortunately I don't know how to find the old filings (supected they could still be available at otcmarkets.com or edgar, but I couldn't find any), but I still have the pdf-file from 2nd December of 2016. There one can read:
Did a majority vote against the agreement? Or is the selling in anticipation of the dividend?
I was watching yesterdays trading and was surprised about the volume and price. I am wondering who would buy at 0.18 that many shares at that risk-reward-ratio. If voting on Tuesday is against the Asset Purchase Agreement, share price will most likely fall hard. And I think the outcome of the voting is not sure. So, there are 2 Cents to win and perhaps 10 Cents to loose. Yes, it is exciting. - I need a chat in my trading software to contact such buyers
