uh oh........
the stock nearly doubles and we're wondering who's selling? everyone's right! it's insiders, IR firms w/restricted stock, folks like us who bought in the .60 range, etc....
but i'm with goldseeker (for once) -- there's just too much stock for sale here. wittenberg filed to sell 200k or so if i remember correctly so there's 10% of it...what about the other 90%? like i said this morning...this spike is garbage we need real news to really move here.
"how could someone of your investing talents not know of Johnathan Lebed?"
-- thanks so much goldseeker i needed a good laugh (seriously).
half-full..i'm down but not out. what i don't like is the stock for sale here...that is bad. very bad. mother f'ers.
goldseeker: in my slumber i haven't followed all of this "Lebed" stuff...who is this clown?
this is BS give me real news...back to sleep.
sold around 15k to test the market...definitely an eager buyer in there.
oh...oops. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
bocx has a number of poison pills that would turn away even the wealthiest of suitors..read the filings fellas...back to sleep now.
i agree more coming...if not we're all screwed. histo-recaf data? YAWN
gastric cancer results? talk about a buzz kill...surely there is more.
yeah sure goldseeker.
goldseeker sold at the ABSOLUTE LOW he has zero credibility. nanny nanny billy goat.
FYI people remember the following when considering any form 4, 144, etc activity:
1) none of the d/o's take salaries.
2) in any given year the d/o's have various tax consequences related to their BOCX options EVEN WITHOUT OFFSETTING INCOME.
all...i am still tentative at best. will probably be posting very mildly for the foreseeable future. rest assured i have not sold a share. matter of fact, i bought another 20k today...
LOL goldseeker i'm still in a hospital bed please ask someone else your absurd questions.
Greetings all. Is anyone else smelling a run? When Wittenberg files like that, historically it has been a KATIE BAR THE DOORS scenario.
only a basher or rally could get me going right now :) ...seroiusly though, thinking about this stock right now will only stress me out...you all know how devoted i am and i'm in no state to worry about BOCX. i'm getting my jollies from NFLD right now. BOCX is next.
still here just fighting through some health issues
now that we are on the BB we should be on the new FTD list that they just started publishing for BB stocks...will be interesting to see if the new MM behaves. so far he has no book so he's just building his position, thus the stability and lack of quiet period slippage...pretty apparent there are no sellers in the stock. historical slipping during quiet period just caused by lack of two way order flow and thus MM flattening out his books on the way down after our rallies. screw all of them. penny annie bastards will all be wiped out one day when they change the rules. my guess is in 2 to 3 years US markets will actually trade on supply/demand like the rest of the world rather than the liquidity provider theory which is basically a guise for wall st to systematically rape retail...have a pleasant evening.
half_full please no caps!!! guys i am fine but i appreciate the caring. just on bedrest duty for a little bit.
Posting from the hospital...had a minor operation, will be fine. Keep up the good work! :)
Dew: that is great news for NFLD investors, as it would potentially slam the door shut for competitors like BPUR.
PS: Dr. Janet Woodcock? Poor girl must have had it rough growing up.
ease up on reverse...how would you feel if you were losing a lot of money in a stock and continued to hold it even though you had no confidence in it? that's his predicament, as absurd as it is...IMO worthy of sympathy not wrath.
keller: that's extraordinarily bizarre...try to two things: 1) a market order 2) call the trading desk at your brokerage firm
which broker are you using?
mysscat can you post a link to this ABT cancer month stuff? i may have asked you this before but i'm an old "dude"
dkeller: that is interesting given you had such a high bid...if you are using an electronic brokerage, try calling the trading desk. i find that for my electronic accounts when i'm having trouble with fills the trading desk is helpful.
sure buddy
the comment about "FUTURE AND PROSPECTIVE" licensees is extremely exciting and puzzling. I'm astounded that the NASD would have the balls to inject themselves into a negotiation BOCX is having with a prospective licensee....absolutely mindblowing. What did BOCX say..."Hey I know you want to license RECAF, but please take a minute to talk to the NASD about us getting relisted on the OTCBB" -- what a joke!!
HALF_FULL: thanks for the info
Who else besides GoldSeeker & Kag sold at the bottom? Know-it-all schmucks...
tigert: *great* point. i'm pretty sure that is the case...i remember hearing it somewhere at some point. unfortunately i can't research it right now but if anyone wants to go for it that would be great. i think there is a strong possibility that BOCX had to entice these clowns at "Lampost" with the promise of volume coming into the stock for that month, since the b/d sponsor gets nothing out of it...that means big announcement. WOWZA. hope that comes to fruition.
All: how about the other stuff in the PR? First off let me say that it was very foolish and/or penny-wise to try and pack so much unrelated info into one PR. this is just *bad* investor relations, period. Anyways...regarding the content, I've got mixed feelings:
1) the line about "global coverage" has me confused since the previous sentence refers to exchange listings. if BOCX is planning to list us on a foreign exchange i will personally fly to Vancouver with a box of duntz caps for each and every staff member...if i see a berlin listing or other infamous exchange listing, i will debate selling my stock.
what did you guys interpret this sentence to mean?
2) the filing of a new patent related to RECAF is interesting...i know the colorimetric assay is covered in general terms in the original patent, but somehow I have a strong feeling that Moro is hinting that they are nearing the completion of a new test format that is ready for ARCHITECT. there is a good chance IMO the new patent they will file that extends the RECAF life to ~20 yrs is related to the work they've done in preparing the test for ARCHITECT.
3) the whole bit about "know how" and how it relates to licensees and patents is strange...anyone have thoughts on that?
opportunity...IMO the market maker is clearly flat or near-flat at this time. he shorted on the way up during our last run (as always), but has bled the stock out to cover. thus the recent basing on low volume...PS: even if he was short, he would not get hurt. locals always win in penny stock land.
yes mysscat...OCTBB = more liquidity = ability to sustain breakouts. but the crooks are rampant on OTCBB and it is *not* a real exchange, so congrats to BOCX management but let's get moving to AMEX now please.
Awesome stuff...not necessarily "awesome" for the share price in the short term (maybe a little pop), but the bigger picture is we're on the right track. BOCX better not get complacent, though...a real exchange listing is what we need.
half_full: smart move...i think it has weakness ahead, but since i want to buy a decent amount and it's thinly traded i will have to buy on the way down.
10Q out today...filthy. The cash position is obviously a huge concern, with a whopping $2k left in the bank. Of bigger concern are the sales, which are slugging along, and whose slow pace seems to be related to the embarassingly low cash position. The projections for next quarter are abysmal...20 units.
And worst of all...GROSS MARGINS. Ouch. But that can be improved with the volume.
Bottom line is this company needs a big financing, and now. Or, how about some cash from the FILCO auction? Either are welcome...but cash needed now.
lou: the Canadian justice system is horrible, but Stonestreet is worse. They are notorious, and so are all the other "usual suspect" microcap financiers that AITX has done business with. Matter of fact, Canaccord -- who maintains all of their accounts -- is one big bastion of stock market manipulation. AITX and the other companies have no idea, and even if they did they have no choice. That's just life in the world of microcap financing...and don't get me wrong, I love it because it provides much needed financing to microcaps -- albeit at a price!
The proof is in the pudding with AITX -- they have shorted the living s**t out of this stock all the way down to the weighted conversion price of ~$1.50.
Now they have made their spread, and it is time for the ol' bocxman to get in. The yet-to-be-released 10Q will be ugly no doubt. Why? Because the company is broke. Until they do a real offering, things will be a mess...but an offering is in the works. I also have some concerns about the current product set, but the core technology is *outstanding*. I have spoken to executives at one of the largest CAT distributors in the world...and they gave me the thumbs up on the technology. So that's all I need on that end.
half_full: i'm in the east coast this week so i will be in and out...PS all: i have a broker accumulating AITX for me...i'm looking for 100k shares between .50 - $1.60. i also have a letter being sent to them for a direct stock purchase. it's one of those rare OTC-BB plays that looks enticing to me...check it out and let me know your thoughts.
