Is it possible we breakout of the small mom and pop Malaysian model and enter a real trans-pacific Multinational model...? This is starting to look like a real business...doesn't take too much movement in the price to get a lot of interest....and we both probably have a low cost basis for this thing....

Blackstone Discovers High Grade Copper Zinc Mineralization in Sweden
09:00 EDT Wednesday, August 08, 2007
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 8, 2007) - Blackstone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BLV) has discovered significant Cu-Zn-Pb mineralization with grab samples from mineralized outcrops returning values as high as 6.54% Cu and 22.1% Zn. The discovery was made during a recent prospecting program in northern Sweden, on a new 50 kilometre long and 15 kilometre wide property which was recently acquired by staking and covers part of a large Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) belt. The VMS belt hosts several past-producers of copper and zinc in both Sweden and Norway.
Highlights of Blackstone's initial sampling include:

N05830 0.16 22.10 0.16 1.81 68.8
A complete table of results and a location map is provided in an appendix to this press release.
Dean MacEachern, Chief Operating Officer for the Company, remarked, "This new discovery is an extremely exciting development for the company. Our initial visual estimates of the surface outcroppings have now been confirmed by the assay values which highlight remarkably high grade. We are very encouraged with the initial results from our first pass of prospecting. We have applied for additional property to secure areas we believe have similar geology to the discovery area.
I want to congratulate our entire team working in Scandinavia on what we believe is a significant discovery. Although the team remains focused on pursuing our vast nickel sulphide opportunities in Norway and Sweden, it was the in house knowledge and expertise we've built in the company over the past two years which led to the recognition of this important mineralized terrain and the opportunity it presents for the company."
According to Jari Paakki, Vice President of Project Development, "the favourable geology and obviously the mineralization indicate we have discovered a significant VMS belt which we now hold the dominant land position acquired through staking. The outcropping polymetallic mineralization includes semi-massive coarse-grained pyrite, sphalerite, chalcopyrite and galena hosted by altered felsic volcanic rocks which we could trace on surface for at least 500 metres in strike length. Other parts of the property host high grade Cu-Zn-Pb glacially deposited boulder clusters with values as high as 5.84% Cu, 20.29% Zn, 17.52% Pb and 96gpt Ag indicting the likelihood of further discoveries.
A team is being mobilized to the project area and prospecting is planned to begin immediately on at least four of these recently identified high-grade massive sulphide boulder areas, which are also believed to be proximal to bedrock sources. Priority targets will then have airborne geophysical surveys completed this fall to further define targets in advance of drilling. The VMS belt hosts past producing Cu-Zn operations located along strike at either end of the property however based on our search of records at the Swedish Geological Survey (SGU), this property has not been drill-tested and there are no records of airborne electromagnetic surveys having been completed."
The exploration program is carried out under the direction of Jari Paakki, P. Geo., Vice President of Project Development for Blackstone and a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. The information in this release was prepared under the direction of Dean MacEachern, P. Geo., Chief Operating Officer for Blackstone, a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

Did I read that right that you don't have a relatively large position in SWN? Wouldn't that fit the long term hold and mold criteria? Don't you think it will move up in time as the size of the reserve becomes apparent?

We have waited a long time my friend! Volume and price action get attention....we need to get on some bandwagons....very undervalued here but no one wants to invest if there is no visibility....we are starting to get that and each incremental move brings more volume and addtl attention.....

Len,
I beleive this bull is short lived...I expect a 'a gap up' followed by an ugly break and prolonged period of pain....with that in mind, I am considering a major investment in one of our VMC or jr Miner picks...much more money than I have ever considered putting into one stock...I will lose a major discipline of mine...diversification but I will hopefully gain returns from a consolidated position and an above average return prior to a major meltdown that some of you believe we will have.....
then I will move to mostly cash and let these other zip code changers feel the pain....
Let me know what you think...you are one of the most rational posters on these boards...

ACADIAN GOLD CORPORATION ANNOUNCES OPERATIONS COMMENCED
AT SCOTIA ZINC-LEAD MINE
Acadian Gold Corporation (ADA-TSX-V) (“Acadian Gold”) announced today that the Scotia
Mine (zinc-lead) at Gays River, Nova Scotia, Canada has commenced operations. The mill is in
the commissioning phase during which the mechanical components of the mill, related primarily
to the crushing, grinding and flotation circuits, will be tested and proven to ensure that the flow of
ore and treatment of materials is optimized.
It is anticipated that the commissioning phase will be completed by late June to mid-July 2007 at
which point the mill should be operating at the planned capacity of approximately 2,000 tonnes
per day. During commissioning, daily throughput is expected to be in the range of 1,000 to 1,500
tonnes per day.
Progress is being made in the negotiation of concentrate sales agreements, the details of which
will be announced when agreements are concluded. The market for zinc and lead concentrate is
very strong as reflected in the current zinc and lead prices of approximately US$1.74 per pound
and US$0.93 per pound, respectively. Marketing of Scotia Mine product will be further
facilitated by the superior quality of the concentrates. The zinc grade is 60% with less than 1%
iron and the lead grade is 75%.
If production targets are met in 2007 as expected, the Scotia Mine should produce approximately
23.4 million pounds of recoverable zinc metal and approximately 7.8 million pounds of
recoverable lead metal. Targeted production for 2008 is approximately 44.6 million pounds of
recoverable zinc metal and 19.1 million pounds of recoverable lead metal. The cash cost of
production is projected to be approximately US$0.52 per pound zinc-equivalent in 2007 and
approximately US$0.34 per pound zinc-equivalent in 2008.
Photographs of the Scotia Mine operation can be viewed on the Acadian Gold’s website at
www.acadiangold.ca
Managements Opinion
Will Felderhof, President and CEO stated, “The commencement of operations at Scotia Mine is a
milestone event for Acadian Gold. We are pleased to be in a position to take full advantage of the
current high prices of zinc and lead. We anticipate Scotia Mine to be the engine to drive the
growth of Acadian Gold going forward. This is an exciting time for both our shareholders and
the employees at Scotia Mine.”

"Hate to see the dow up so much in one day.
I feel our stocks do perform much better when the dow trends flat-up. However, at least with my stocks, it seems I have just as good a chance at a great % up day if the dow goes up 30, than if it goes up 230. So the way I look at it is, the dow being up 280 in one day is a waste of likely 8 more up days I could have had."
