Today's Woodford Patient Capital Trust Update
The update linked above includes everything from the comments for last month's update that Flipper posted last night.
Why do you care about a $100k bid? that means nothing
Please do asap
Finally a post worth reading in a sea of crap. Thanks for the post, Mike. GL
Thanks, Smokey. The tale of our NWBO lives continues....wait some more.
Welcome back!
It would be unethical for Liau or Prins to hold NWBO stock. That is quite obvious IMO. Do you have examples of principal investigators holding stock of their sponsor?

You'll have to open the position Tuesday. Market is closed Monday.
Marzan-
Here are my firm beliefs. I don't claim to be an expert in SEC Filings. I'm a trader for an RIA in the US. My role is trading, not compliance. But I come across these documents more than a retail shareholder. I could be wrong and you're more than welcome to think whatever you'd like. I'm not trying to persuade you but this is where I stand.
I do believe Woodford has not bought anything, based on looking at the most recent filings. The websites that aggregate data based off SEC filings are having a hard time with what Woodford files because he files:
1) Woodford Investment Management (the umbrella of his company, this includes the Income Fund and the Patient Capital Trust)
2)Capita Financial - Specific to the Equity Income Fund
The sites that just pull data from SEC Filings take the Capita holdings and roll them on top of the WIM holdings, making people think he increased. If you look at the dates of his previous filings and go back to posts at that time, we had the same problem then and we posted Woodford's response that it was incorrect data aggregation. I would love nothing more than for my email directly from Woodford funds to be what you think, he didn't say they didn't buy so maybe they did. But I really don't think that's the case. The huge run up from 33 cents to 94 cents or whatever it was, is perfectly explained by the huge drop in short interest, which was spurred by the move to OTC. Only the true big dog hedge funds are going to be able to short this thing now. I have institutional trading software through BNY Mellon and that won't even let me buy or sell it now that it's OTC.
In looking at the most recent filing, the only conclusion i can come to is Woodford sold 1,100,909 shares. His "dispositive power" went down by that many shares. His voting power stayed the same though. So it's almost like he was holding shares in his trust for somebody else because he had no voting rights over them. So that somebody wanted to sell their shares. I'm trying to figure out where those excess shares came from. I hope to find that answer but I don't know if I will.
I have an email from Mitchell at Woodford, (same one Senti posted, if you want I can post mine too) and my own grasp of the reporting of these forms and how the sites F them up all the time. I don't have anything that says "we didn't buy more". All I can tell you is my Bloomberg never told me he bought more like some of the sites were saying but buried deep in the holders section there was a Bloomberg page that thought he doubled his shares. I had never been to that particular screen until that day when checking it against BSBs screenshot. The main page for the holders of stock says his share count has not changed.
Yeah i can post the picture on my twitter if any long wants to see for themselves.
It was a double count, same as the last time he filed.

I too have emailed directly with Linda Liau before and can vouch for Senti's email post. It was legit.
No hard feelings, I have made a few misjudgments.
It hasn't traded since 11:58. Nobody cares anymore now that we're OTC. They need to give something of substance to see any action now.
Oh wow, a seekingalpha article! Way to bring in the big guns! Such a valid venue for true analysts to divulge great information!
So cute.
So that sounds like she'll have no update for DCVax-Direct.
Wrong column. That is vanguards position in all peers and nwbo combined. Look at the next column.
6 trading days left for any January options that are out of the money to come good. As I have been saying for a while, I expect any good news to come after. That's just the way this seems to go.
Thanks Senti. I received the exact same reply a couple minutes ago.
Go to my twitter feed and scroll down to 9/6/16 and you'll see a picture of Capita Financial already being listed back then. @tc_trader
There is a lot of past nwbo info there.
I have not heard back from Woodford yet...however, I'm trying to find information to prove my opinion wrong that he did not buy more.
Here's what we know:
From: Dec 28th 8k
"the Company sold and issued 28,750,000 shares of common stock and five-year warrants for the purchase of 14,287,500 shares of common stock at an exercise price of $0.35."
Since then we had only found out about where 19,217,500 shares went, through:
CVI Investments
Intracoastal Capital
So where did the other 9,532,500 shares go? Maybe to Woodford. The filings don't suggest so but in the interest of the board, I'm trying to make sure. I'm running low on posts for today so I'll post back if I hear from them.
Yes, yesterday I think we were the only two saying it probably was not a new buy. You and Longfellow said it more eloquently than me. Anyway, talk to you all later.
Thanks to all defenders. At this rate I will run out of posts for today so this is to all who know what I try to do here. I will save some posts in case I hear back from Woodford today or other real news hits.
Exactly right
There was a major dilution that changed their % of ownership, since they own a large % they have to file an update in a timely manner.
Well, good luck, hopefully for your sake you are better at discerning science than everything else. There are about 10 people here who know exactly who I am, where I work, how many kids I have and how invested I am in NWBO. Then there are countless others who have seen me defend nwbo for years. But I don't like pumpers and I don't like bad information, so I try to correct what I think I can. If I am wrong about this I will let everyone know like I have before.
Woodford Investment Management is his entire company, CF Woodford Equity Income fund is "Capita Financial" which is how the Income fund is set up. This is exactly what happened last time he filed. Woodford Investment Management encompasses Capita Financial Equity Income Fund. Woodford reports both since they are probably separate legal entities.
Those sites are just trying to interpret sec filings automatically through programming and a lot of times they do it incorrectly, just like last time Woodford filed. There is no person behind that site posting that info.
I agree, Mitchell is who I asked and he has always responded before so hopefully I will have the definitive answer soon.
I am still of the opinion he has not added. I have asked Woodford directly for clarification. What happened last time is the patient capital trust total was combined with the entire Woodford umbrella which already included the patient capital trust, thus double-counting his fund that holds the higher stake. I hope to be wrong.
Yes you are correct, that is what happened last time. I contacted Woodford Funds back then and they confirmed. Probably the same thing here again.
