Marzan-

Here are my firm beliefs. I don't claim to be an expert in SEC Filings. I'm a trader for an RIA in the US. My role is trading, not compliance. But I come across these documents more than a retail shareholder. I could be wrong and you're more than welcome to think whatever you'd like. I'm not trying to persuade you but this is where I stand.

I do believe Woodford has not bought anything, based on looking at the most recent filings. The websites that aggregate data based off SEC filings are having a hard time with what Woodford files because he files:

1) Woodford Investment Management (the umbrella of his company, this includes the Income Fund and the Patient Capital Trust)

2)Capita Financial - Specific to the Equity Income Fund

The sites that just pull data from SEC Filings take the Capita holdings and roll them on top of the WIM holdings, making people think he increased. If you look at the dates of his previous filings and go back to posts at that time, we had the same problem then and we posted Woodford's response that it was incorrect data aggregation. I would love nothing more than for my email directly from Woodford funds to be what you think, he didn't say they didn't buy so maybe they did. But I really don't think that's the case. The huge run up from 33 cents to 94 cents or whatever it was, is perfectly explained by the huge drop in short interest, which was spurred by the move to OTC. Only the true big dog hedge funds are going to be able to short this thing now. I have institutional trading software through BNY Mellon and that won't even let me buy or sell it now that it's OTC.

In looking at the most recent filing, the only conclusion i can come to is Woodford sold 1,100,909 shares. His "dispositive power" went down by that many shares. His voting power stayed the same though. So it's almost like he was holding shares in his trust for somebody else because he had no voting rights over them. So that somebody wanted to sell their shares. I'm trying to figure out where those excess shares came from. I hope to find that answer but I don't know if I will.
