Froy,
"I'm not liking what I see at the convention. Now that it is over and we have no bombshell PR, volume is dead. What do people here think the @#$% is taking Q so long to get another carrier? Are they selling their show on another channel just to get it seen? Here TV has the worst $%#@ on tv, and they have signed up on VOD with everyone . There stuff is not even G/L based. They have a ...."
Oh forget it. Too many mistakes. Please don't swear on the board, and if your not positive about the company please sell your stocks.
Thanks for the info no fear on Skype and iBasis.
Gosh thanks lobo! ;>)
Robg,
What about finacials? Are you familiar with G/L, A/R, A/P GAAP and how they work and can be adjusted? I expect revenues to be down, I expect the company to report losses, they are are spending money to grow and expand. Are you familiar with keynesian economics? ( http://www.econlib.org/library/Enc/KeynesianEconomics.html ) It can be applied to companies also IMHO.
We are excited here as to what the company is doing. This is a "not-even penny" stock now. What's your problem? Short money gets you in to dream big and support something.
Do you check the finacials when you buy a lottery ticket?
Talk this stock up if you believe in it to others. Exposure and then demand will be what drives it up to where "big" investors will want to get in and then want to see financials once it is established and rolling.
Financials schmancials...
Not sure if this link had been posted in the past or not as it is from July 2004 but may be of interest for some.

Gangreen and all,
Thanks alot for all the replies.
Great, thanks.
As for me personally I know the strats are unmanned and constantly monitored. I also assume a "disaster recovery" program is in place. I was curious as to what that DR might be (From a technical standpoint).
But, for the average "non-invested" person, who might get wind of this behemoth in the next week via news, radio or seeing it being shipped to Edwards, and say "what's that". They might ask the question I previously posted.
Is this a bad post on this board? As someone who talks this company and technology up to everyone I know, I would like to intelligently reply to them if and when they asked.
Also, I don't see the connection between the (747's plus) that you mention in your reply. And was the reply meant to be condesending because I took it that way?
These/those aircraft are manned and have a track record and systems already in place. In addition, peoples perception and familiarity with ariplanes are already intact. They know intellectually what the risks are. We know from experience that the planes we see flying all day are more than likely not going to drop on us. I wasn't looking for guarantees just a "what if". If a strat did need to come down then obviously
aircraft in the area are to be notified. What if one comes down "not" at a scheduled time.
My post was not meant to be negative, nor do I feel it comes across as negative. I am deeply invested in this company and read this board daily as well as the header.
I have urged several people to invest as well and to do that comfortably I need to pass onto them all I know as well as instruct them to do their DD.
Here's a thought. What are the odds that when say, 50+ Strats are airborn (positive thinking here) and one or more malfunction or "explodes" or "???" and starts to drop downward that they make it to the ground or hit something (airborn) on the way down?
What systems would have to be in place to make sure that (a)it doesn't strike any other aricraft, and (b) it doesn't make it to the ground. I think that once this bird and technology get noticed in the mainstream, folks will be concerned/worried about this type of thing. What are GlobeTel etc. going to tell them/us?
Does anyone know if Skype.com be connected to this at all? It is out of the UK I believe and is an excellent VoIP software product. Quality of sound is outstanding.
Excellent!! Thanks.
lobo,
thanks alot for the reply. i am a stay at home and want to learn more.
dkgross, thanks for the info. I will work on my DD skills.
Thanks D, and "really" any info on trading QBID is appreciated.
"Multi-Jack mind your business when it comes to people posting helpful info on this site"
I do not appreciate the above, nor find it mature. This is a public forum for investors, which I am. As a newbie to these boards you often won't get a response unless you provoke something as the nature of emails and chats are "inemotional" and left up to the reader to interpret. So jsut asking "What's up with these numbers?" would warrent replies such as yours " what are you an ?????." "if you don't know then you shouldn't be here" etc. etc.
Obviously you did not read my apologetic posts after finding out that the information was valid and appreciated and I was wrong.
Here's something to ponder 10-1
Well based on that definition - investing - but interested in trading. BTW - MOMO ? No reference at http://searchwebservices.techtarget.com/sDefinition/0,,sid26_gci211776,00.html so must be a "traders" term.
Can you explain more? And as you say "nobody in their right mind should EVER trade a pink sheet stock without L2. EVER"
Why can't anyone get L2 information then?
Just trying to learn more.
Well then my apologies to all who want this info here and esp. Nettrader.
rpudd:
Well then what is he posting?
Nettrader: Dude whats with this info!!! (.0029 .0031 9x3) You spend all this time posting this type of msg. If its important just tell people where you get it from and they can go there and then we don't have to weed/read thru it.
Stratncash
I completely disagree with you. This is the first and only reply I will make to you and you REALLY don't have to reply back.
This board to me isn't about speculation, its about information. An online GTEL newletter if you will (aside from some posts).
If you are not sure and don't believe in this company or the technology then I am suspect as to you and your intentions.
I believe in ...
Robert A. Jones - President of Sanswire Governmental Services
(Huge ties to Edwards AFB!!)
Jairo H. Rivera - President (MBA Economics)
Dr. Michael Matarrese Senior Aerodynamics Engineer
Mr. William Dodson Senior Structural Engineer of Sanswir
Dr. James Lee Senior Electrical Engineer
This may be a "silly" question but for all the believers in GTEL (which I am one) for the long run do you call/email/talk to your friends and relatives about GlobeTel?
I do all the time. It would seem that the more the word is out the better it is for everyone. I am amazed that there are not more independant PR about this ship and the technology.
Everyone to this board will be affected "when" this ship goes live. Think about it, take your laptop with you and always have a HS connection. You can post to this board from anywhere you go. And that's just the tip of this iceberg.
Has anyone called "dish" networks? This could put them out of business if they jumped too late.
What is going on??? Call your local paper?? Call in radio shows? No? I mean it would seem to me that the more people interested in this and see the potential would be jumping to invest either as shareholders or VC or whatever.
There is/has been so much great information here but it seems to be the "investors" little secret. Why is that?
And another thing, I am going to call GTEL and as a shareholder, ask them why, as a cutting edge technology company, that their website is not up to snuff IMPO.
TIA
Quiksilver149.
Albeit I understand you are frustrated and angry, I for one would prefer not to read "venting" posts.
Call the company and let them know your feelings. It would do more good that way for everyone.

I would prefer this board to be informative, NOT a reason to buy or sell based on someone elses opinion.
If people want to chat why aren't they using IM, or ICQ or AIM etc. Maybe the admin for InvestorsHub could add a field for IM name etc. and folks can banter there.
In addition, IMO QBid has a good website and a good investor relations section.

The following was from this link as an example...
3/9/2005 - RE: Message Boards
We are well aware of message boards discussing our stock and feel true investors should be wary of certain individuals that post. Please understand that these few select people have a specific agenda to disrupt the long term investment strategy of our shareholders. They are in place to purposely create fear within the investment community. Management's policy is not to discuss company matters with anyone until all investors can be made aware, thus creating an equal playing field. That said, anyone claiming that they have spoken to the company and is privy to information not yet public is spreading false information. Initiatives are now in place to investigate any person posting inaccurate or untrue information. We understand that the concept of message boards are good and recognize they create an outlet to discuss, but we will not tolerate blatant fallacies.
Fear,
I appreciate your postings, they make me think and read closer; please continue to bring up questions and the scrutiny of press releases.
I consider this as much a part of DD as looking at charts, statistics and articles and the wealth of other information posted here.
