It seems like once a year VOYT has a spike then nothing. Would be nice to see something actually happen after one of those spikes.
Maybe someone is taking an interest in buying the shell it has value if cleaned up.
VOYT on a run! Anyone hear anything new?
Your question was what was TMM doing in 1999/2000 not what the software or patent status was right now. As I said, TMM was putting out PRs and was even featured in a news article that they were trying to license the DFMI software. And ignore the 100% incorrect description of it some here are posting.
And of course later on TMM went on to steal copies of the software it had no idea how to use but did raise hundreds of thousands of investor dollars (see 4retire and many others) by lying and saying they owned it. Before finally officially losing in court after convincing themselves they could own it by buying another company that had nothing more than another stolen copy.
They never learn.
Back then wasnt Fernandez putting out PRs that said TMM was trying to license the DFMI software?
In earlier filings they said in 2017 they had partially paid their old lawyers but still owed $161K, so no change in that status. And still owe the $55K to Dimension. And if they lose the appeals, tack on another $800K or so. Saw there was a new entry on the appeals site, maybe something finally happening there.
Which doesn't include the substantial debt on loans that are due next October, otherwise Healy and Wiggins LLCs take everything.
The new quarterly report looks about like the last 100 issued by TMM, got nuthin. But I wonder where those pre sales revenues went that the company said were posted in that last quarter? Deja vu all over again as Yogi Cavanaugh would say I guess.
"Total Multimedia Posts First Sales of New Generation High-End TMMI Mini PC X"
NEW YORK, Sept. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Total Multimedia Incorporated
https://www.tmmi.us/news/news_2018-09-26.php
Correct the old Iterated patents have expired but the epic fail here is TMM claiming any "ownership" of that old tech. Also note though that Dimension does have active patents on fractal tech, in addition to winning the court battle over the VDK 2 license.
TMM has pretended to use fractal tech a number of times but it always turns out to be one of the "almost" open source codecs, which still require royalties for commercial use.
A lot of dumping the past few days, what up?
And as everyone should remember by now TMM has ZERO rights to any of the old Iterated fractal tech. Thats what happens when you NEVER finish paying for anything. Although they did pay Simpson and Haskins big time for copies of the stolen VDK 2 software and got kicked in court for it. Sorry gang, TMM has NO fractals rights, not that they would have a clue what to do with them if they had them.
Thats a ringing endorsement. Maybe TMM will come through this year, or next year, or maybe the next year.
I'm only worried about TMM this failure to meet a solemn promise for the shareholder conference call is serious and also still no response on missing the call or if its being rescheduled or if they have just quit and gone home or what? This sounds like something Cavanaugh or Fernandez would pull, does this mean one of them is coming back?
So the new TMM boss has failed on his promise of a conference call update and chat session? Very disappointing! Sounds ominous for TMM. Although I did see an encouraging news release! Oh wait, that was for a different company. Bummer.
Hi gang Ive been traveling the last couple months just checking in to see how the conference call went dont want to read the past thousand posts to find out. I know everyone said the companys entire reputation rested on them coming through with that promise so it must have happened right? Wow cant wait to hear the details!
I think youve been around long enough to remember all the pumps and dumps in the past 18 years since the big one. Fernandez ran a lot of them in the 2000's like the Germany "deal" and Cavanaugh had his share with his big one being the 25 cent spike on total BS news. Too many pumps to count. I could take a day and detail all the pumps for you but I know you will just take my word for it.
I think Ive been clear I am hoping the newest TMM drive is legitimate. But what I am fighting is 30 years of history with probably 100 TMM PRs that were just there to support pump and dumps. This pre-PR volume and price spike support the possibility this time is no different that the past times.
You cant put the clearly suspicious selling the past month back in the bottle, it is what it is and those in the know have already benefited. But that doesnt mean sales wont happen and the company wont do well. We will have to wait and see, or at least those of us without inside knowledge have to wait and see.
And I thought this was a TMM board. My point is that the current status is right in line with every other TMM pump and dump over the past 30 years. It could turn out different, of course we all hope that is true. But the painful truth is that many here already know whether its true or not and are dumping heavily on every spike which gives me some concerns over the truth and the real TMM goals.
I guess we will see.
So far this all meets the standard TMM insider pump and dump process over the past 30 years. Pre PR volume spike with millions of shares sold above the previous price from people clearly in the know. Next comes the actual PR, with moderately high volume and smaller price spike. Notice that it always stops when the price gets back down to the starting price as nobody wants to kill the golden goose.
Will this time be different? So far it isnt so we will see.
Wait a minute, did they say "Pre-Sales"???
Somewhere Cavanaugh is cracking up. LOL
Although the TMM financials have been deliberately misconstrued to make it look like Healy isn't a major owner of TMM common and preferred stock I think we can assume its a good thing he actually does have a lot of skin in the game. Even if its only at one half cent a share.
He has motivation to take TMM a lot higher. What we don't know is if he actually has any tech to make that happen. I think we should know something soon. We had a recent run of high stock buy/sell days then it suddenly went down to almost nothing. Which means somebody took a large position. The history of TMM says that means someone in the know was told something is coming that could impact the price.
One thing we can always rely on with TMM and thats that the insiders get taken care of.
The 200+ million shares issued last December to the two LLCs were all new shares, maxing out the current authorized availability. They also cancelled the old management's options and warrants, insuring they could maintain control, except for Stan Ford's oddly enough.
All 200+ million shares were issued at EXACTLY one half cent. Read the last quarterly filings, its all right in there.
Now, they undoubtedly did this because without this level of company control they were never going to get their money back they loaned the company. The question now is can they come up with something that will raise the value enough to make this effort worthwhile.
Yet to be determined. I'm giving them a 54% chance of success. LOL
Actually Healy and his investment group North Star Ventures converted loans at one half cent last December to 138+ million shares as did Wiggins and his group North Gulf Shore for 74+ million shares at the same one half cent. Now they control 54% of TMM together. Read the filings and do your homework on who owns these companies.
https://backend.otcmarkets.com/otcapi/company/financial-report/200064/content
Dont forget my qualifying remark. Those big loans were converted at 1/2 cent and millions of shares were private placement sold 2 years ago or less at 2 cents and we are seeing half million or more trading days lately. Someone is cashing in and could keep the price down while making huge percentage profits.
I have always been long on TMM otherwise I would not be posting here. But I hold my investments accountable too.
That is correct Urban. The lesson from the past is be suspicious and wary anytime anyone from TMM says anything but also recognize what part of its cycle its in. For 30 years it has moved through semi-regular cycles where there was opportunity followed by despair.
Those cycles have brought you that crazy $2.87 high 18 years ago and a more recent $.25 spike just a few years ago, also based on absolutely nothing of substance.
With the rapid dilution over the past few years, just getting back to the $.25 would be an accomplishment. But with the recent run to $.13 a little higher is possible.
The other side of the dilution though is that should those holding mega millions of shares decide they are OK with 10 cents for the shares they got for 1/2 cent to 2 cents, then its going to be a tough climb out of the gutter.
5589A yes the 750 million shares authorized is a bunch and should all the options be exercised they are actually short of enough shares to use them. So, expect a share increase not far down the line. The guys in charge own 54% of the company so they dont care if there are 75 million or 7.5 billion shares, its all the same to them.
But as I mentioned I expect the new group to do some things to make money off of their time and money stuck in TMM so to the shock of most here I predict much higher prices for TMM in the near future!
Sustainable? Not unless they actually generate substantial real sales. We will see.
TMM History Part 8
Part 8 brings us up to current times. In order to consolidate power and control of TMM Healy and Wiggins and cohorts consolidated all the loans and converted most of them into shares resulting in two LLCs controlling 54% of TMM, meaning they no longer need shareholder approval for anything they want to do. Mega millions of warrants and options that had been passed out to prior management friends and relatives were cancelled and the coup was complete.
Of course none of this makes them any money, so there has to be more to the plan. For most of TMMs past that meant phony press releases and pumps and dumps. I see this new group controlled by Healy as perhaps a little more careful to avoid jail and likely to produce an actual product. The product may or may not be already obsolete when introduced but I do expect something to be released.
Some point out the video player is already out there and white labeled "TMM" PCs soon to be sold if anybody wants them. To that I will point out any first year programmer can use an open source code to make a custom labeled video player and anyone can get their own labeled PCs. The big question is about the upscaler software that TMM says will be added. Again, will it be another VP9 custom ripoff or a legitimate new codec.
Finally, the appeals will be decided soon by the Nevada court and could be a game changer if they do their jobs. Stay tuned you are now up to date!
TMM History Part 7
After getting crushed in the lawsuit TMM decided to double down on the treachery and appeal the decision. Another appeal was filed by Dimension to correct the judge's error in not allowing legal fees to the lawsuit winner.
Meanwhile, with Neff and Hallinan deep in legal trouble and headed for prison Cavanaugh had nobody to back him and pull his strings and a new group slid in to take their place along with the remaining Wiggins, who moved the official TMM office to his office. Cavanaugh exited stage right.
New President Healy took over and amazingly good old Stan Ford still managed to hang around, even after TMM investors sent millions of dollars to him for development and got nothing back.
Part 8 tomorrow!
TMM History Part 6
Fernandez finally lost control of TMM for the last time in 2011 by crossing the wrong East Coast wise guys. Hallinan, Neff (both now in jail), Wiggins and Cavanaugh took over. Cavanaugh being the puppet rolled out in front as President but holding no power.

They had no idea that Fernandez had totally fooled them and that TMM owned nothing. They doubled down on that by letting Simpson and Haskins sell them DFI, a defunct company that also owned nothing but pretended to own the Iterated VDK 2 software.
Once they found out that Panik and Dimension owned the VDK 2 software their knee jerk reaction was to sue without even talking to them.
After 3 years and blowing millions of dollars in legal fees TMM figured out it had no case and dropped it. However the counter suit against them continued and TMM LOST!
More coming in Part 7! Stay tuned!
Cant wait till tomorrow so we can talk abut the Cavanaugh years as head puppet for TMM. Woohoo!
TMM History Part 5 - The 2000's
2000 started on a high note for TMM. Fernandez had Simpson stealing investor funds from DFI then DFMI for him and was living the high life. Not that any of that money was actually going to TMM they were keeping it for themselves.
Then after being kicked out of DFMI Simpson worked with Fernandez to steal copies of the DFMI software and it ended up in court. The judge ordered Simpson to turn over EVERY copy of the software to DFMI and Simpson swore he did. The two crooks went on to resell illegal copies to several different companies.
Fernandez then managed to get temporarily set aside due to his habit on keeping TMM listed as a suspended corp and an alert opportunist stepped in as President. She tried to make some headway on cleaning up the company but Fernandez wormed his way back in to continue his business plan of bilking small investors and doing nothing else.
And that continued until 2011.
TMM History Part IV - The second half of the 1990's.
Dark years for sure. TMM still in BK and the cancer known as Mike Fernandez creeps in to take charge with support from the Vancouver pennystock manipulators (say hi they are still here) and his good buddy and fellow con artist Tom Simpson.
They start their new business plan of bilking small investors while defaulting on their final Iterated contract, several times. They did come up with a couple of lunch money raising ventures with an Elvis Graceland tour CD and a still imaging program called..... Trudef!
Trudef would go on to be the name of anything TMM thought of as a theoretical product, not that any existed after that.
The cycle of pump and dumps was also started culminating in the big one at the end of 1999, leading to that famous spike to $2.87!
TMM History Part 3
No doubt the first half of the 1990's were TMMs WOW years. Their first contract with Iterated gave us Soft Video an actual revenue generating product. But it also gave TMM the likes of Papilia and Simpson, as shady and immoral as characters can get.
Also of note was Peter Olson, the guy they brought in to lead them. Unfortunately, he wanted to lead them to another planet and was as nutty as a fruitcake. TMM was also defaulting on contract after contract with Iterated and ended up declaring bankruptcy.
The mid 90's also brought the cancer that would haunt TMM for another 20 years, Mike Fernandez. More on him in Part 4.
I didnt bring up the Abuse of Process claim did I? Although now that you did, it was an item the judge certainly wiffed on. TMM was guilty of it no doubt.
Shadow you are of course correct he's just playing with semantics. Technically the lawsuits are over but the appeals of them are not. If TMM loses both appeals they will owe Dimension over $800,000 and continue to have no rights to the VDK 2 they paid Simpson and Haskins and a few of their friends a lot of shares for knowing it was stolen.
If they win both they will not owe anybody and get to keep the stolen copies of the software they have no clue how to use.
Could also be a split decision. We should know in the next few months I would guess.
Not sure how much more history reflection TMM can stand but so many requests to keep going how can I stop now? I think the first half of the 1990's is next.
4retire I seem to recall that Randy's Mom was in pretty deep and that debt problem carried over a lot of years before they got rid of her. No doubt some here will recall more details of that problem for TMM.
Spunky volume for TMM today. Hard to watch that drop from 13 cents last week but maybe its leveled out.
Working on my list of questions for the TMM conference call next month. Wow have dozens already and just getting started. Meanwhile Im working on chapter 3 of the TMM history saga I know everyone is holding their breath waiting for. This is starting to cut into my fishing time!
TMM History Part Deux
After an exciting run as Party Bookings Inc. TMM was changed to Randy Jackson Entertainment Corp. on November 9, 1988.
https://backend.otcmarkets.com/otcapi/company/financial-report/200064/content
Yes, it was that Randy Jackson of the Jackson 5 fame. It seems clear that he was not afraid of clowns and decided to partner with Taylor Kramer, a part time musician. Not much happened in the 3 years it had this name and its rumored that Michael Jackson set his hair on fire after learning how much money his Mom and Randy had buried in the company.
TMM History Part I
As many of you already know, TMM started life as Party Bookings Inc. on October 8, 1986.
https://backend.otcmarkets.com/otcapi/company/financial-report/200064/content
Not much is known about the company back then but we believe they had something called Revenues, which nobody at TMM the past 25+ years is familiar with but I've heard its a good thing.
We have narrowed the likely company activities back then to either 1: Catering, 2: Renting out jumpers for kid parties, or 3: Something with clowns.
The consensus is it was most likely something to do with clowns as that theme has carried forward through the history of TMM to today. Whenever I think of TMM I think of a bunch of clowns, so it all makes sense.
