I bought this before the split last year and sold last month. I still think it has tremendous potential in the coming year but...
I would suggest the price decline is not due to MMs but rather is due to mjna's lack of execution. We were told 6 months ago about the primary business model employing debit cards to satisfy tax collecting agencies. Make a lot of sense and 28 or so collectives have signed MOUs. But there has been no roll out or demonstration as of yet.
These workshops and videos are nice for exposure and so is the CNBC program. But MJNA must demonstrate the ability to establish a revenue stream. So far, they haven't.
Anyone know the share structure?
Listen to the CC: says move to OTCBB in 1st quarter 06!
It's 10:25 am EST and no PR. I can not find the phone number on the website. Anyone have phone number or any contact?
I, for one, am losing my ass on this pos. Bought at .12 ouch! Looks too late to sell now; probably more upside from .08.
So Hookerhorns, you're saying that at these prices the shares are moving from the hands of penny speculators to longer and stronger hands for its continued move up. That would be good.
Hey, I'm a graduate of UT: Bachelors and Masters. You in Austin? I'm out in Northern California now.
Why would it be too late now to buy? If it's going higher still, then it's not too late. Given the volume, plenty of people are buying at these prices. If it's going into the 20s, then 11 cents is a bargain.
I thought the retrace this morning washed out many sellers opening the way for our current gains. This is trading beautifully.
New to this board. Got in the stock only yesterday. Actually will continue nibbling each day maybe.
What is the current number of outstanding shares? One report put it near 1B but they have retired shares as well. Bottom line on this anyone?
hmm, so the company wants to reduce the number of share by half and they are also increasing the number by a factor of six. we're confused; they're confused. it's vegas.
Damn confusing indeed. I bought before the record date and sold the next day only to now learn that I may not get the dividend unless I buy back in--which I have done. These I will hold. Whether I will get a dividend for shares purchased before record date but sold after is dubious. Ahh well, it's small change.
Gary and Gigwolf:
Many thanks for prompt repsonses. Yes, that IS what I was referring to. It's on my front burner now.
Good luck to long holders of this stock; hope it pays off for you. I've been watching for a month and seen it rise. Know news may be coming and looking to buy in when confirmation is received.
Not bashing but questions:
1) Does the civil unrest cause any concern?
2) Today's filing that Jeeter was NOT affiliated with or apparently asked if he wanted to be on board of directors. Seems fishy? Any comments?
As I understand it, the gondola was irrelevant. FAA wouldn't approve it manned or unmanned. The anguish on Huff's face when he spoke of the FAA was real and revealing. Whether Mr. Huff can get FAA approval to ever go from Palmdale to Edwards is an uncertainty that remains. I wouldn't be surprised to see it built and ground tested at Palmdale and then disassembled again and trucked to Edwards. I don't doubt that it will happen but the timeframe for all that is...? And time was our edge of advantage.
Let's see what gets done with engineering and construction because much remained to be done when I saw it. But there is now a real team of serious professionals (not a lone mysterious cult figure) who accomplished a huge amount in 3 weeks of work. Three months more and the engineering will be in clearer focus.
RE: Vern Koenig
Vern was conspicuous by his absence. His name was never mentioned by GTEL. On 2 or 3 occasions people called out from the audience, "Where's Vern?" to which both Huff and Jones ignored.
Huff said that most of the work we were looking at had been done by the new team in "the last few weeks." Rather than viewing Sanswire as a up and running concern, I would say that Sanswire is only 3 weeks old now.
I'll be watching from the sidelines now to see what this genuinely impressive team can accomplish over the year or two.
Yes, I am sure of what I am saying. Huff stated for all to hear that the ship would be reassembled at Palmdale. Mr Jones stated that they would continue to work on FAA approval to move from Palmdale to Edwards DURING construction. But they could just do that from where they are now if seems to me.
I can't understand why, if the airforce is so interested in the project, they can't recontruct it AT EDWARDS! They (speculation) may not have all the support we were led to believe.
I was also impressed with the team Huff has assembled and they will probably succeed over the long term. But the timeline is unknown. It will certainly be months before any test flight and maybe not till 2006 (imo speculation).
Another eyewitness posters view:
I drove down from Northern Cal to see the Strat. Having been a long time holder, I was alarmed that the reality on the ground is markedly different from what we had been told by managment.
The Stratellite is unfinished. It had no innards, no propulsion system, no helium chambers, not even the solar panels except 1 small token one. The airship could NOT float on a tether; it was sitting on plain blocks. Huff's prs stating that Sanswire One would be hovering on a tether could produce litigation.
Another huge issue is that Huff has no answer on getting it to Edwards. I was stunned to hear that they plan to disassemble Sansire One and truck it but NOT TO EDWARDS!!! Instead it will be trucked to another facility in Palmdale where it will be reconctructed. But, they do NOT have FAA approval to move from Palmdale to Edwards anymore than they have approval from San Bernadino.
Disclosure: After holding for years, I sold my position this morning.
Like yesterday, watch for last hour/half hour surge in volume and sp. IMO Don't guess figures, but how about UP!
Yeah, Slyhunter. Their only significant value is GTEL shares to come after "sucessful launch." But that's a lot of value!
last hour (singular) I mean.
Volume picks up in last hour much of the time. Watch for it today. Both volume and sp likely to rise in last hours or half hour. IMO
Three topics 1) FAA and move to Edwards from Dryden
2) Timeline
3) Question about Shares
1. An earlier poster interpreted the need to move the launch to Edwards as a sign of ignorance on GTEL's part. I wonder myself how they could just be learning that FAA wouldn't give clearance from Dryden. Bothers me a bit. However, this also means that GTEL will be in eyes and care of Air Force at Edwards. We wait a few weeks and we then we work with the very best. I call that good news, not bad.
2. Timeline: I spoke with the company on Friday. The viewing on April 11 and 12 is ON. A negative (not factual) poster suggested that no new press release is a sign of further delay. That's just not logical or consistent with past experience. If they say April 11 and don't follow up with some other date, then no delay has occured. The viewing will be April 11 as per GTEL.
I won't be surprised or troubled if the actual launch is put off till May but I'd be disturbed if we don't get FAA approval to move the ship to Edwards. That is still a worry of mine.
3. I just "hid" Jamesss so that's a relief. But one issue he and others have raised is this 300MM shares issued since November. I am interested in Rocky's take on this. Is the number accurate? Can we account for where they went? Any others, please help me with this also.
Surely you know I am referring to De Laurier, the inventor of the "flapping wing plane" who you cite as a critic (or skeptic) of Sanswire HAA ship.
Techisbest: Note that you mashall the names of significant people with NASA who are now with GTEL and then question their legitimacy by citing some unknown engineer from the 80s. That's not reasonable. More DD would help you.
Techisbest: DD at top of page shows Randolph Dumas of Rubicon is now Head of Sanswire Europe.

Rocky, your post to the individual comparing Gtel and the Sanswire shell suggested that there still could be further distributions (150M for successful launch) to holders of the snwr.pk as of some FUTURE date. I thought that only holders of snwr.pk as of the ex-dividend date (10 or so days ago) would be eligible. If there will be a new and future ex-dividend date, it would explain why snwr.pk has not gone further south.
I'll see what my broker has to say. If I find anything reliable, I'll report.
From the Jones bio.
2004 - Selected as Single point of Contact for NASA HQ Department of Homeland Security.
He is the SINGLE point of contact for Homeland Security with Nasa HQ. That would be our government agency with a huge budget and needs that Sanswire can meet.
Uriah Heap: Questions for you: I think William2112 made a good point that the dividend play is basicly over since snwr is now so close in price to gtel. However, the tantalizing question that seems unaswered is about the 3 or 4 additional shares to be distributed should the Stratellite be a great success. We are hearing that you had to own the shares back in 04 but that was NOT true and many (but not I) profited smartly. It would seem more likely than not that the same rules would apply to the additional shares. If so, then we who believe the strat WILL be a success could do dramatically better buying these snwr shares and reaping the 3 or 4 new (and higher sp) gtel shares.
What is the truth here?
Stratellite Deepthroat?
Kyle McMahon is not listed at globetel.net. Is he new? Any info on?
Rock, do we know if revenue targets are still on track? Revenues have been running about 1 million a week last I heard. Are they still? Increasing? Has management offered any guidance or caveats that you know of?
Also, you mentioned in a previous post that you hadn't seen any revenues from earlier announced agreements. Most of the revenue stream is from carrier termination at present. Is that correct?
Certainly not unethical and quite well said. I appreciate your thoughts and well agree. back to gtel.....
Hello all. I'm a new poster to this board but have been holding GTEL since it was ADGI and have added recently as well.
I'm struck by the orderly buying throughout the day. Also the DD on this board is reassuring.
To the individual asking if this is a good entry point or should he wait for a pullback, I would advise what I am doing. I will be buying more tomorrow (not real big) and believe upside is quite large in short term and longer term.
If 22 cents turns into 50 cents, that's a good buying point. For myself, I'm looking for pps over a dollar before THINKING of selling. Why make a few bucks trying to trade or time this when the larger money is to be made from holding. Just imagine where we could be in a year.
A tip of the hat to Rocky for keeping a reality based board.
