For some, it could be:
I get level II thru Schwab
Nice exposure being on this list
The top three Nasdaq percentage gainers:
** Virtra Inc, up 33.8 pct
Just one example of exposure that will add up and make traders and investors more aware of VTSI. NEVER happens had the stock not been moved to Nasdaq.
Bob and his team of employees and hired help should be commended for this major accomplishment.
All things considered, stock is trading very well today.
Move to Nasdaq, brokers needing time to get transition complete, MMs needing to get things in order and annual results announced after the bell is gonna lead to some initial volatility and that's what we got.
Stock has found some balance here with a reasonable bid/ask spread (6.03/6.20 currently)
Excellent volume (37k shares) at 5x average and still 2 1/2 hours of trading.
Wouldn't be surprised to see it close at or near that magic 6.60 area.
After the required 15 min halt due to volatility we have our 1st trade of the day went thru at 7.04.
Still looking like volatility on the horizon with very large bid/ask spread.
I think it's the MMs just trying to establish and orderly market here at the open but can't be sure.
Doubt it has anything to do with a secondary but can't be positive of that either.
On Schwab, I'm showing bid on VTSI at 6.6 and ask at 7.04.
Also, showing a number of market makers with activity on either the bid or ask.
I'm with you on that.
Need to come down off the mountain next week for a board meeting and not looking forward to dealing with "city stuff".
Yes ... and no.
Bought it, used it for a while and then decided to leave the city for the mountains where we built a place. That's where I hang out most of the time ... hiking with the dogs, working out, playing around with my hydroponics and fiddlin' around with the stock market.
Close enough.
Mid 6's aren't far off and once we break that with conviction we'll see double digits in short order.
Seems rather ironic. You state that, in essence, the CEO is a bum who doesn't know what he's doing and the board are a bunch of "yes men" and then out of your next breath beg for people to buy the shares.
Intelligent investors don't invest in CEOs they don't believe in so, if the CEO and board are as you say (you've met them, right?), it would only make sense the people have second thoughts to invest their money here.
Or... he has an RSS feed for Edgar and, as a courtesy to others here, posted the information when the feed alerted him to the filing.
