Hemp Inc has put themselves in the position to lead the east coasts hemp processing industry, and many other related secotrs. The only bad news is that there are currently legal barriers to that industry. Sure, that's a fact. But if you've followed even the slightest bit of Hemp legalization news to help you decide for yourself whether or not those barriers will fall in the very near future, you would have a position in this company.
In my opinion, the writing is on the wall. Look at the legislation that's out there and the historic support for said legislation, and decide for yourself.
By "throwing up smoke", are you referring to the purchase of 7 acres and a 70,000 square foot industrial space along with millions of dollars worth of equipment?
That's an expensive smokescreen. But your entitled to your "opinion" I guess.
Do some research on the type of leadership that's involved among the bills sponsors. They're quoted saying this year is likely.
I believe North Carolina was chosen because of a bankruptcy deal which got them the land and equipment for a fraction of what it would retail for, making profits much easier to turn when that time comes. And if you've followed the news at all lately you would know that the time is coming very soon. Its only a matter of time before either a) every state legalizes industrial hemp, or b) the federal bills that are currently in congress pass. Not to mention North Carolina has arguably the best market access on the eastern seaboard making inbound and outbound traffic that much easier, and sales that much better.
Shareholders are just being antsy in my opinion. Why not get in before the action starts? All IMHO of course.
Every PR is relevant to the industry that $HEMP is a player in.
Completely baseless and incorrect. Say hi to HempHawk for me.
Go $HEMP
$Hemp hast been that low since 2013. With current legislative momentum and industrial plans taking shape at their facility, I don't see how this can get anywhere near the .01's. I don't see it going below the .03s anytime soon unless the bills get flat out denied, which is EXTREMELY unlikely considering there are multiple bills, in both chambers of congress with historical sponsorship numbers. This is going up. Way up, IMHO
On news?
Amazing read. Thanks for sharing! I don't know how anyone in congress can read this and not jam a bill through to decriminalize it. Well actually now that I think about it, Thats exactly whats happening right now!
Lets try this…
How can people complain about this company being a scam, smoke and mirrors. Then trash the move of releasing a video blog which is the transparency that these same people complained was missing?
SMH.
For anyone wondering: Why North Carolina? (myself included) this could be a major influence: All of this product needs market access, and Hemp is in the best location on the east coast to do so.
http://www.thrivenc.com/market-access-north-carolina
"By rail, by road, by sea or sky, North Carolina’s central location on the eastern seaboard and excellent transportation infrastructure make it an optimal point for access to markets and customers, keeping freight and delivery costs low. With the second-largest state highway system, four major airports and two seaports, North Carolina is a global access point for businesses to Thrive."
Here's a play IMO, $HEMP.
Right now, both chambers of congress have introduced legislation to amend the Controlled Substances Act to exclude industrial hemp from the definition of marijuana. The cosponsor numbers are record high and the bipartisan support is clear. All of the pilot programs last year were a huge success which is the reason for the congressional push. Don't be late to the $HEMP party.

Your DD is very well documented, and to an extent appreciated. But right now my shares are worth .034. I'm looking right at them.
It's clear that he's setting the company up to accomplish a business plan that will generate profits and reward shareholders. I think we're all just very excited to be invested in a company that's poised to lead an emerging market while its still in its early stages, and while stock prices are cheap.
Nobody is claiming huge profits right now, or any for that matter. But its not hard to see that the business model, the actions the company has taken thus far, and the future of hemp agriculture in the US are aligning quite nicely.
Stop being such a wet towel all of the time.
Urban Dictionary definition of Wet Towel:
"A person who hangs all over everyone, is a drip, and generally makes the place go sour if left unattended to immediately."

GLTA!
Hemp industry is going to take off, which directly feeds the medical marijuana industry (which is also about to take off) through the supply of CBD. Buy these lows people!
Directly from the spending bill that congress just passed and the president signed:
Regarding Hemp:
"None of the funds made available by this Act may be used in contravention of section 7606 (“Legitimacy of Industrial Hemp Research”) of the Agricultural Act of 2014 (Public Law 113-79) by the Department of Justice or the Drug Enforcement Administration.”
Regarding medical Marijuana:
"Sec. 538. None of the funds made available in this Act to the Department of Justice may be used, with respect to the States of Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Washington, and Wisconsin, to prevent such States from implementing their own State laws that authorize the use, distribution, possession, or cultivation of medical marijuana."
I for one would love an official explanation because it makes no sense to me. South Carolina is geographically more central to the states in the "cotton zone" than North Carolina. Not to mention it would IMMEDIATELY enable the massive production that the company dangles in front of its share holders every chance it gets. And if this decorticator really is the only one of its magnitude in North America, I can't imagine they would be too worried about there being competition. To me, its like, "Lets invest in a 20 million dollar decortication plant and plop it right into a state that let's us utilize half of its production capabilities."
I'm all about the future of this company but North Carolina just doesn't add up. I'm sure there's an explanation to it but I just haven't heard it yet.
One question. Why North Carolina? Why not just set up shop in South Carolina where its ALREADY legal to grow hemp? Any insight?
