OT: persistent: we do have online accounts in Ireland, I just dont have one yet, I use a phone account. Everybody goes home at about 11 NY time, except one person stays to deal NY shares, so sometimes I wonder if I'm talking to the cleaner. Commission is fairly high here as well so I generally can't buy small lots.
Is HISC traded after hours. Its 9 o clock in Ireland so my broker wouldnt hang around to tell me if I still own any shares.
Cheers Glassy
Glassy does that RSI 'powerzone' line not indicate that it is overbought.
Glassy, No don't remove it but don't start animating it either. Its just when HISC is so volatile I need to keep an eye on it on my phone. Think it works on GPRS. Broadband access and Internet acces is way behind on this side of the Atlantic. I'm in college so I get free High-speed access when I'm there. Otherwise it's pretty slow.
OT: It looks nice, but the internet doesn't come cheap here in Ireland, especially if you're downloading on your phone. I get charged for every kB. Can't wait until Globetel (GTE) launches a stratellite here. That guy with the animated penguin avatar really pisses me off. Do we really need animations here.?
Glassy that stained glass or whatever it is, is costing me a fortune on my nokia wireless connection. If I had my HISC profits I wouldn't mind as much but I'm holding long.
Ya got GTEL at .10 but sold at .27, the day befor they announce the AMEX/ R/S news. Its now down below .16 (pre-split price). HISC is my new favourite stock
Your penguins are doubling my phone bill. Internet access is expensive here in Ireland. When you're on wireless internet, those penguins cost a fortune to download.
What price is required to move to a higher exchange?
On the Level 2 quote on pinksheets.com, what does the number of shares mean. They are all at 1???
Lowtrade mentioned hype about a delay on the other board. I can't find any info on this rumour/pr. Anyone know if this is a recent rumour or some crap from RB.
Can anyone elaborate on this delay or pr, I missed it.
"What we should want is to see continued business plan execution and released goals being reached. So IMO this latest Strat hype delay may become a good opp to load up some long shares and average down, for long investors! Plus a great swing buying opp also."
I can only find a 5 day chart for TNOG. Anywhere I can get a good chart of it.
Rock That's the point I was trying to make. Some people were saying it was only floated inside the hangar.Apologies about the late reply
It was reported that the stratellite was tested inside the hangar but it was clear from the photos on May 9 that they brought it outside, and turned it around. The wheels were shown on those photos. Hopefully the outside photos will be released soon.
The globetel logo looks like it is drawn based on the Air Force logo. Its like the two logos are combined together. Could be the military version of the globetel logo. looks kinda cool. where can I get the t-shirt.
Whats the difference between gtel.be, gtel.f and gtel.de and now today we have changed to gtc.be/f/de. Is globetel listed on three exchanges in Germany.? They all seem to be different prices.
What if the strat engineers were looking at episodes of star trek for ideas.
All this talk of a sail on the stratellite is going nowhere. Has the person that suggested this done any CFX simulations to back this up. I imagine if they did, it wouldn't prove feasible. S
imple designs generally give the best results. Fins and a good propulsion system should be sufficient to stationkeep the stratellite. A sail would create more drag and make it harder on the propulsion system to maintain position.
But can/will Globetel release the actual slideshow? For investors that could not travel. From overseas.
Cheers Losabill,
I've downloaded your videos and pics. I would be interested in seeing the slideshow though. I've seen some photos of the slideshow but they weren't very clear.
I'm having trouble downloading jimcognitos photos. There's an excellent collage there but it's hard to see. If the photos were downloadable, they would make class desktop backgrounds.
Does anyone have or know if its possible to get a copy of the presentation and video that was shown at the unveiling. I e-mailed the company but havn't received a reply yet. Is there anyone in particular in Globetel that I should e-mail?
Why was there a helium tank on a truck outside the hangar. Is it possible the stratellite was disassembled for the general public. I would guess it doesn't take long to assemble once the main structure is riveted together. A tethered test may not be far in the future.
As for the government not being there, they were at the summit and probably got more information than the general public were given.
Thanks Rocky
What does this mean though?
"I am afraid Kissinger IMO will help little. You have to read very deeply into that one to understand."
Whats Rubikon got to do with Globetel?
Who is Kissinger? What does he do?
Can you explain what an Aroon is???
Havn't heard it being discussed before
Sorry to be off topic, but what book were you reading..
Rocky and Techbear
I've been following this board for about 9 months now and was about to give up on it last week, with all the rubbish posts.
The new board is excellent. All the TA is grouped together and the GTEL information is not diluted on the other board. The charts posted with explanations are an excellent way of learning this stuff.
Keep up the good work.
Kermit
Techbear
Could you explain what these MACD and MDA lines mean? Are they similar to the RSI??...
PhillipTori
I'm guessing you have a background in aerodynamics/engineering. Or anyone else that has......might be able to answer....
Does Morison's equation apply to airships?.....If it does then the wind loading should be nothing at 65,000ft due to the low density.
Watney
It is in the march edition of PopularScience. Someone posted a version of it up a while ago....
Here it is.
