I'm a new poster and I not intend to be a frequent one. For info I have been continuously long since they were selling systems to Burma and following the boards since the Bill Miller days. The stock is by far the largest portion of my portfolio and I still average down on dips.
I have a comment on the running spat with dmiller. It is all to do about nothing and a waste of energy. I do not care that he is long or short, whether or not he owns the stock or if he is just pulling chains. The fact is that 70 or so percent of IDCC is owned by institutions and no good or bad opinion on this board is going to move the stock price in any measurable way. I suggest that you take dmillers comments as just that, a comment, process it in light of your knowledge and move on.
As for the recent jury decision it is a positive event but nothing more than that. Winning this one shows that IDCC can go to court and win but its only 3 patents in a portfolio of thousands and against one company. Awards are still to come. I'll wait and see.
