Well, checking back to the book of Numbers, the older generation who left with Moses out of Egypt never saw the promised land. Through their complaining and lack of faith, they were denied from ever entering.
Let's hope your analogy falls short.
8 years of Obama pushing the opposite agenda and look where we are? Not sure how much it's going to matter...
As a long time investor/wait-er (10+ years) I obviously have hopes that the company will come back and do something. At some point though, I just want it to do something - either relist and make it so I can sell/trade what I have or just close down shop and eliminate any tentative hopes of (what seems to be this company's slogan) "what if" and "maybe next month".
Everyone's frustrated. Most people have fiercely turned on the company and for good reason. I just want it to get out of purgatory and either live or die.
One way or another - I just want something to happen. Plan A is obviously relisted. But, at the same time, after years of being strung along as an "active" stock and now years (? how long as it been ??) of it being delisted - I just want something to happen so we can move forward one way or the other.
So close! Can't wait for next week! or the following week!
The good thing with this stock (and this board) even when the stock is dead is that 'next week' always seems to hold such promise. Can't wait for next week!
I'd have to agree with rsaj on this one - I root for sports teams regardless of outcome because I'm a willing fan and not a financial partner. Having been an avid sports fans forever you see it's way more common to see teams struggle in terms of on the field success when the ownership group uses the team to play out their childhood goals and live their lives as 'ultimate fans'.
As a stock holder of a company, I'm not rooting for 'fun' I'm expecting results. I'm still here because I'm waiting to see if this thing ever relists. I have my doubts, but like everyone else - I want to see if there's hope.
It ain't dead til it's dead, I suppose.
I've got a few million shares and some beach front property in Phoenix, AZ if anyone's looking to invest in some can't miss opportunities.
Just like Serge - I can type in any number of shares you want and hit "print". How many shares do people want? I just bought a new printer and the ink is fresh!
Heck, IF this thing ever re-listed, no matter what the price point, even if it was $0.001 I'd be lining up to sell what I have to whoever would take it.
Ain't that the 800 billion dollar question...
I'd imagine this is everyone's sentiment. I could care less if Savi changes their sign and gets a new stock symbol and I'm left with 0 - as I suspect I will be.
I really just want this all to come to a head - tired of the limbo and waiting to see what happens. Hoping a resolution comes soon - one way or another (with an obvious preference this stock comes back).
Best of luck to everyone caught in this...
Anyone checking in is just checking for updates or progress. We obviously know it's delisted. We obviously hope it gets relisted. That's all there is to it.
Would be nice; don't see it happening though.
If that does happen though, please send them my way and I'd be happy to help them out with some stock.
Bottom line is that everyone just wants to see a definitive resolution where they either re-list and make another attempt at business or that they shut the doors, fire the employees and just call it quits forever. Everyone wants to move past this purgatory because nothing's worse than the 'what ifs' -- which is what the company/stock do best. (If I could invest in the Savi Corp 'what ifs' I'd be richer than anyone who won powerball last night...).
I keep checking back in to see if the stock's re-listed or if there's any official news, but as we know - still no. I appreciate everyone's back and forth in the mean time however. Here's to the 'what ifs' for 2016. *cheers*
Mine has done the same thing a couple of times over the past few months. Not sure why it does that, but it hasn't stuck.
Is there still a time lime associated with if/when they get re-listed or could the "maybe" and "what if" just go on forever? Just curious.
Ehhh...not so sure about that one, but your opinion is your opinion. And you know what they say about opinions...
To pretty much Copy+Paste most statements on this board for the past few years: "Hope you're right about this one!" and "We'll see!"
Hopefully your snippy responses fix everything.
Sure makes for a nice paid vacation though.
My feelings exactly. If the company 'died trying' because they put everything into attempting to be current, make sales, and be upfront with their share holders I'd be bummed but would understand.
I can't help feeling they just robbed people of their money the way they went out.
I'm still waiting for the mob to gather.
Actually, to be honest, I'm waiting to see what happens. Obviously, I'm pissed. I lost some money - not a ton, but some. And while I hate losing money on anything I especially hate it when I feel like it was simply stolen from me. I'm waiting for SVMI to figure something out in the very slim margin that a ray of light becomes possible and my stock becomes something again. Will that happen? Probably not. Once that door is slammed shut I think people will likely seek action.
i personally don't know anything about the legal side of seeking justice and know that any legal fees would far exceed my losses in this stock. I'd be happy to join once that mob gathers though.
All of this is awesome speculative news. While all of this helps the potential of getting back into the trading game - my stock is still stuck in purgatory and quickly headed to hades it seems.
Not sure who's right -- the "it's already dead" group or the "we still have life" people... Obviously, I hope it's the latter.
Good news to hear that things are done, but if my stock is truly dead and I have to re-buy my way in to take advantage of any future stock sales it's probably not happening. Hopefully this turns around and the stock we've held for years and years becomes a tangible item again.
Here's to 201x!! (for now 2016, but that X has been every year for the past 8+ years)
Who'da thought the day this stock finally got current on their filings was also possibly the time that the company's future also looked its bleakest?
4 months ago this was a steam engine charging ahead with promises of China deals and hopes of "now if we can just get current..."
Bleh. What a load of crap. Let's at least hope they keep polishing it a bit more and that it stays afloat in the tank.
Looks like the company stock buy back has been initiated.
Per the latest 10Q: "Throughout the period, 2,100,000 common shares were bought back for $7,000."
Wow! Only several more billion shares to go! See - there is hope! :)
Personally, I think the China deal is still in the works and the current filings to get current will coincide with that deal to some extent - as well as the whole "eliminating the suspended trading" thing...
But really, the entire China deal was either completely fabricated or it is still happening. A company doesn't commit to invest $650M on a product and then just realize it wasn't a good deal - $2M? sure, but they better be pretty dang sure about $650M. Either way, I'm sure the finalizing of details and contracts (especially in China) and processing payments (those giant checks take awhile to order if you don't all ahead...) take time. Do I know anything? Obviously no. But, it's my thought and hope for this company.
History is important, but bad precedents don't have to be followed - let's hope for the best. Let's get current (AND STAY CURRENT) and see what follows in 7 days...
Best of luck everyone!
I don't think people are as livid as expected because Savi has a history of making everyone ask "WTF is going on???" so this is almost just par for the course.
I believe it will be back trading, but who knows what the response will be on the first days back - could be lots of selling as people look to get out.
Hold onto your butts...
Savi has been inching near being current and just yesterday released a new product - they obviously haven't given up. They wouldn't be going through the motions while simultaneously nailing boards over their doors and windows.
It is very discouraging to see how things have been run of late; the highest highs (China news) this company has seen have slowly turned to concerns and now are probably the complete inverse as the current 'lows' have taken the place of China news.
It's sad. I hope for the best and for good news to come out in time. None of the news has really been good ever since the China update.
ridiculous...
Another 8-K release. Another flush of the proverbial toilet bowl for this company. Luckily, so far, some piece of magical turd has clogged the toilet up just enough to not empty it out quite yet. There's still hope! ...right? Please??
Wish I could say I'm surprised...
I have no issues with you Oceans. Never have; appreciate your perspectives and insight on SVMI stock related items. I, like many others, see reports like these and get frustrated. There is emotion attached to this stock because there are hopes after years that it will be a fruitful venture and news like further dilution and lack of real sales push that reality further away. I'm invested (pun intended) in this stock as others are. If it's a joke to you then maybe I'm envious of your financial state if you don't care if this stock makes you any money.
We all want this to do something. We're all on the same side.
I continue to believe in the product and for a long time I've believed in the possibilities that this stock could do something worth my while. I only purchase and own stock for things I believe in and have owned or tried myself. I'm not the only one who has shown frustration with recent lack of news/clarity how things in the company seem to have been run lately.
Could something worthwhile change mine and others current perspectives? Of course -- but we wait and continue to wait for that tangible, substantial news item to be released to us. Until then it's just speculation.
Through the many years of holding this stock the thing I'm the most proud of to date is having not recommended it to a friend.
I have to imagine the last purchase for $5.70 to get 1,500 shares had to be Serge just making sure "is thing still on?"
I was hoping for some good news regarding the testing as we head into the long weekend. Testing must take longer than assumed.
I wouldn't say I've been missing it...
News rolls out slowly around here... They went to China in early April - no real news or updates from those meetings. Techs go over there a couple of weeks ago - no real news or updates from those tests.
A lot of "stuff" but no NEWS.
I'm curious as to why you assume their to be news from such a cryptic company...
OH, WELL THAT'S GREAT NEWS TOO!
Savi hands out stock like the U.S. government racks up debt. Is there really any way this stock can viably increase over time with such a high number of outstanding shares?
Anyone who answers is probably eligible for at least 50,000 shares of common stock from Savi - because it's what they seem to do...
