I think so too.
A little bit of both. If TSLA really reveals Model 3 in March, the stock has upside.
All that has risen, must fall! I'm long AAPL but "Apple always wins" cannot continue for eternity.
I would buy some at these levels. I think people mostly confuse investment with trading and hence the downfall continues. RPD hasn't even completed a year since IPO, and everybody wants it to be at $50. Buy, and hold. That's what I would do.
The markets are reacting to oversupply of oil, not Apple products.
I went to the Apple Store a few weeks ago. They was a line even before the store opened. I don't see the customer base shrinking drastically. I'm not a fan of mishandled and frequent iOS updates but migrating to a different ecosystem is just too inconvenient at this point. Apple has better products that its competition although I would prefer a Microsoft surface pro over iPad for work.
Faraday future not a direct competition to Tesla, IMO. FF concept is a really powerful electric race car, at most.
Time to buy?
This is more than amazing, I hope more people are able to appreciate this success.
I agree. I bought it at around 29 but had to sell it at mid thirties to meet urgent expenses. I took a little profit but I hated it when I was selling. I see value in Musk's ideas.
Shouldn't $1.5 million / $50 million = $0.03 per share and not $0.33?
That's right! Thanks.
I can't figure out if this news is good or bad. Isn't it good that it frees GTAT of the burden of the debt that led to bankruptcy?
Just bought in at around 29!
I just like the car I guess. In one of their showrooms recently, the chassis for Model S was on display. The beauty in engineering was apparent.
Technicals aside, some stocks (read most stocks) react to emotional sentiment. Yesterday, weight watchers stock doubled just because someone famous declared a 10% stake.
SpaceX and Tesla Motors represent that engineering doesn't always have to be blunt. The stock fell today on reliability issues. Tell me of an engineering innovation that did not have reliability issues in their nascent stages. SpaceX and Tesla are doing far superior.
Again, I might be entirely wrong to grab a few more shares at this price, but so will be many Wall Street analysts. ;)
I'm tempted to place a limit order at that point.
Tessa's shares take a dive! Ouch!
Making 'measly 500' is smarter than losing everything in a bankruptcy! I would say job well done.
I think that this is great news but it hasn't brought about a movement in the premarket stock price. I first bought this stock at twice its current value and have tried to average down since but still in red.
The shorts must have done very well in this walk down from 0.30 to 0.09! How are they screwed? ?? There's still a few cents before pps approaches 0.
Anyhow, I'm not the one to sell for almost nothing. It's either nothing or all now.
I added some shares this morning. Not buying FITbit was a mistake, I'm hopeful for this one, especially with the earnings in sight.
I think the company still has to see profitability but their revenues are improving. It may go down to its original IPO level but a news of profitability is likely to prop it up.
Nice pop this morning but do you guys think it will upper 30s and low 40s again in the near future?
If this goes any lower, I might borrow to buy more ;)
$30 sounds like a good target. I'm eyeing that too.
I'm counting on that. I don't understand today's panic. The company has been on the market for just two days.
I see that this has been running up recently. Is it still a good buy at this price point? I see a lot of upside potential in cyber security but would like an opinion of those who've held this ETF for a while now.
Does anyone think that RAD will see $9 again?
Where did you read about the reverse split?
EPA proposal will put bigger trucks on a fuel diet - NYT
Are the WAVE trucks still under consideration?

The presentation would have started at 11 at the Conference in NYC!
Do you see enough support to carry it to near $2 this week? I'm still in the red with this stock.
Why exactly is this stock rising this week?
That was some early morning action. It went up all the way to almost a dollar.
It seems that there is already a similar product, laser based non invasive vaginal rejuvenation: petite lady, being offered in the Middle East. Moreover, the Middle Eastern countries where Viveve is planned to be launched have one of the richest concentrated populations.
This subject is something that is not openly discussed but it's prevalence cannot be ignored. While invasive surgeries are not recommended by Ob-Gyn doctors because of their invasive nature and unstudied benefits, except cosmetic, other things like Kegel exercises may not be that effective. The causes of laxity and dysfunctions can be attributed to various factors like childbirth and natural aging.
That makes the non invasive techniques, like Viveve and Petite Lady, seem like better and low risk alternatives. The management is top class for Viveve. It seems to be taking the right steps forward. VIVMF could be a winner.
Although I'm with GTAT all the way, I don't agree that "you don't put groundbreaking R&D on a deadline." Given infinite time, anyone would just sit on their project; things only move forward when there is a deadline.
The parachutes failed to deploy. It's in free fall!!!!!!! Once again, the misery repeats, but unlike last year, I might buy some when it hits the ground.
It's falling down hard, it hurts! Falling on bad PR is worse than manipulation of railroad stocks a hundred years ago.
54.23K volume, that's unusually high volume for this!
Voltari has been so much in the news this week that I'm starting to wonder and hope that, like Voltari, each share of GTATQ converts to a share of 'new GTAT' after restructuring. I'm still averaged higher than most of you on this forum with no more resources to add more cheap shares. Anyone here is still holding on to the shares of GTAT before Oct. 6, 2014?
