Not going anywhere.
- No financials in past 4-5 years
- No communication
You know that's not true, this is going nowhere unless they finally released numbers and based on the past few years that's very unlikely.
Over/Under 300 The number of dolls that have been sold in Walmarts since they hit the shelves?
I'm going to take the Under
All 12 Empire Dolls have been presold? I had some faith in this 12-16 months ago but not anymore
When they're not selling in stores, I guess it calls for desperate pleas begging people to buy them
I was at my local Walmart the other day and it still looks like 1 doll has not moved.
OWOO showing signs of life? It must be the anticipation of revenues from 12 Empire Dolls.
Not going anywhere until financials are released, and that is unlikely to happen.
The demand for the Empire Dolls will be huge, just like when a new pair of Jordan's are released.
The only place that I see this going is on the delisted list
We should give them a break, they are busy making sure that the 13 Empire Dolls that will be sold will be ready on time.
Product in Walmart that's not moving that well. What have they done that has been so successful? There are people who make more money in a year playing Fanduel than this company makes in a year.
There they go posting again about what another company is doing - Mattel coming out with Super Heroes dolls for girls.
I've stated this before, this is more of a hobby than a business.
It's been trending for the past 4 hours
Digital just makes sense and dollars. Newspapers, magazines and music stores are just a few of the areas that were hit hard by the access of content on the internet. Easier accessibility to consumers will bring in higher revenues. If all Markiplier's fans had to do was click a button and then pay a few bucks for the comics, revenues easily hit 7 figures in a short period of time.
This is why digital downloads are the way to go after Zwagbox. When there are millions of Markiplier followers, only a very small percentage of them will buy the subscription or go to a local store to try to buy the comic. But if there is a digital download available and people don't have to wait or get off the couch to have it, the volume of people purchasing will be much higher.
I just threw those numbers out there, not familiar with how much related downloads go for. I was just thinking how they could add additional revenue from people who were interested but stated that they were not going to get the Zwagbox subscription. Hopefully this option is available down the road.
Even if they offered each one for 99 cents, I think its easily 7 figures in additional revenue.
This topic probably has already been discussed and I just missed it. I've seen many of Markiplier's fans post about not wanting or not having the money for the Zwagbox monthly subscription, so would a download option sometime down the road work out after the 4 months of Markiplier comics are delivered for Zwagbox. Which could be downloaded separately for a one time cost, my guess is at least 1/3 of his followers would pay $2-3 for each comic.
And tweeting about what other companies are doing such aa Hasbro and others. Seems more like a hobby than a company that is trying to be competetive.
I don't care for Empire, I like Power better as a series but would to see the Empire dolls move.
What this company needs is a few big names to make posts on Social media with pics of the dolls saying they bought them for their kids. Many people are sheep and follow when someone famous does something.
Empire's high tv ratings does not translate into potential higher Empire Doll Sales. If social media was on fire with tweets about the Empire Dolls then it would be a different story.
I've noticed this as well the last time I was at my local store. My Life dominates the shelf space, while the Prettie Girl dolls are on a top shelf and looked like none have sold in a diverse South Florida area.
I'll agree with you on being a speciality collectors item, but I don't still don't see many of them selling. The one positive thing this might do is build awareness to the company helping the sales increase for the kids dolls.
What are adults going to do with a $150 doll?
Even if the Empire Dolls are available later this year, I don't see many moving. I'll take the under 1000 dolls being sold, just don't see people paying $150
Have they stated how many will be produced?
I dont see much coming from the Empire Dolls themselves, the main reason being that I just dont see people buying a $150 doll. A better option would have been a cheaper made doll selling at $39-$49, which would be more appealing to a larger mass of people. Am I wrong?
More products added on website this week, this message written on site: HK FAIR BOOTH NO. : HALL 1B-A16 WELCOME TO BIG TREE FAMILY! SEE YOU SOON!
But still no Financials. lol
This basically guarantees a reverse split happening sometime in the near future(12 months or so, right?
The majority of people in the U.S. are sheep. Take for example the Patti Labelle pies. They were in stores before the guy made that video and no one wanted them. Video comes out and people go crazy over them. Until a celebrity posts a pic or video of the dolls and says they are a must get for their kids, the dolls will not fly off the shelves.
Hopefully by this time next year all 3(Prettie Girl, Tween Scene and Dreambabies are on the shelves), as customers buying interest will vary.
Internet sales and Black Friday sales mean nada with a company who does not file financials or release PR's
For those that have seen them in stores, how many were on the shelves?
I just tried to send them a message on the website(Contact Us) about already having a FB page with over 12,000 Likes and it would be beneficial to post updates on there since there's already a decent size of potential customers following their page.
We should starting tagging people and the top trends with pics of the dolls and Now Available at Walmarts nationwide on Twitter.
It would be good if they can get on TheReal Show again sometime before the end of the year, now that the dolls are in stores.
715,008 products. 715,008 days since the last PR or Financials
I think you are right. lol Can this make one more run so I can get out and add more OWOO?
