Great idea.
Add to your concerns today's WS Journal report on how much bogus research is winding up in scientific journals. I just hope NWBO has the public relations gun cocked and ready to go once there's significant favorable news. Without mainstream media attention, the price will run up but a lot of longs will sell at a minimum profit and, without continued upward pressure, the shorts will be happy to take the price down again. At this point, NWBO should have engaged one or more top mainstream writers (both print and broadcast) on an exclusive basis, letting them know the significance of this new product once regulators have given it a green light. Then the rest of the media will follow along. Please, NWBO: Tell us it's so.
Dave Innes tells me NWBO is "in the process of finalizing a date" for an annual shareholders meeting.
We're past the time Linda needs to provide shareholders an update.
Caps key must be stuck on your keyboard. Please advise if you need assistance returning it to stable mode.

Actually, at this moment, it's probably a very hopeful indication.
She looks a lot like Kate Middleton.
Hope you saw the article in the science section of today's NY Times...

How about an annual meeting?
Happy new year, everyone. I have every confidence the new year will be a great one for NWBO, for many cancer patients and for NWBO investors. (BTW I said this in 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019. Sigh.) Nonetheless, I purchased more shares today at 68 cents. As one of our most esteemed board folks says, "Best wishes."
I agree the communication lacks top-tier professionalism, reads like it was quilted together as the result of a last-minute decision to say something. I nevertheless am grateful for the update. Today's price drop is, I believe, a buying opportunity. Two months from now the price, I predict, will be substantially higher.
Sorry, exwannabe. Your credibility has sunk further into the subaqueous red.
Short-term thinkers moved price down this morning...I think we'll end day at $1+.
About to return to green, methinks.
Outstanding post...and why it has dozens of "likes."
Highly unlikely, Learningcurve. A person with her credentials and busy calendar would not sign up to defend a hopeless cause. This news is another sign things are trending NWBO's way.
Same here, except my trading goes back to the mid-70s.
I believe there's a very good chance you're correct on all predictions. If so, the world will be shouting winning hosannas and localized shape-shifters will sit down or move on to another rat burrow.
The calendar says the time of speculation is nearing an end. Very soon we long-term longs will know whether our capital venture will be lost, provide a modest return or offer an extraordinary payoff for our patience. I've owned a substantial number of shares for a long time and that number has only increased over the years. I bought more just this week at 47 cents. Frankly, it would be painful but not disastrous for me if NWBO were a total bust. If it instead were a grand slam with valuations that have been dreamt about here ($25? $30? $40?), it would provide me generational wealth and opportunities to assist some worthy causes. But I'm most hopeful the science spectacularly revolutionizes standard cancer treatment. I was in my late 60s when I first bought NWBO, am approaching my 77th birthday now, conquered cancer once at age 61 and have been dealing with it again, starting at age 65. I'm grateful my cancer has not found its way to my brain. I hope and pray that when NWBO has news to share, it will be worthy of coverage on the front pages of the world's newspapers and banner coverage on cable news outlets. I feel confident the final pieces of the puzzle are about to be locked into place and we'll be able to see the big picture. I hope it's beautiful.
Thank you. Excellent work.
Thank you. Very interesting document read and reason for NWBO optimism!
Maybe...maybe...maybe a consequential result of NWBO management decisions is to catch the predator-like shorts in a catastrophic squeeze. If I were massively short, I'm not sure I'd be sleeping all that well. Heck: I'm massively long and not sleeping that well.
A large, hopeful piece in today's NY Times ("Is a Revolution in Cancer Treatment Within Reach?") discusses advances that "employ a person's own immune system to eliminate cancer cells" but says a cure for glioblastoma is "stubbornly out of reach." Another missed opportunity for attention to NWBO's advances against this dreaded disease.
On the positive side, The Times reports the FDA, between 2017 and 2021, approved about triple the number of new cancer drugs and cancer drug uses as it did a decade earlier.
My basic question remains: Why has there been so little mainstream media attention to NWBO's successful phase 3 trial
And two and a half minutes on NBC's Nightly News Wednesday evening.
A little context here from the article you linked:
"Results are still a ways off: According to Ciesielski, the company doesn’t expect its earliest results from the Phase 2b trial until mid-2024, and the trial likely won’t be completed for another 18 to 24 months after that. If successful, the company will have to conduct a larger Phase 3 clinical trial."
But the article really does beg this question: NBC News gives this kind of attention to a Phase 2b trial while NWBO gets NO attention to a Phase 3 trial with very positive results? Why, why, why?
Why am I annoyed this morning by a sizeable story on page A-3 of The Wall Street Journal quoting yesterday's New England Journal of Medical article about a "late-stage study" showing an experimental drug delaying the growth of a "pernicious type of brain tumor," calling it "a major advance in a field that has made little progress for decades."
"Drug Staves Off Growth of Brain Tumors," the headline reads. The story is written by WS Journal reporter Brianna Abbott. Maybe somebody can give the folks at NWBO her name.
Every morning I come to this site, hoping NWBO management will have given long sufferers an update. (Sigh)
And the company said: "On December 1, 2022, we filed a Complaint in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York against certain market makers. The Complaint alleges that the defendants engaged in manipulation of the Company’s stock, in violation of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and common law fraud, over a period of years. On March 20, 2023, the defendants filed a Motion to Dismiss the Complaint. On April 10, 2020 we filed an Amended Complaint against Canaccord Genuity LLC, Citadel Securities LLC, G1 Execution Services LLC, GTS Securities LLC, Instinet LLC, Lime Trading Corp., and Virtu Americas LLC (Northwest Biotherapeutics Inc. v. Canaccord, et al., No. 1:22-cv-10185-GHW-GWG). The Company plans to pursue this case vigorously."
Are shareholders expecting too much to have an update from management?!
Buy back 70 percent of its stock at the current price? :)
A not-so-splendid example of Linda's poor communications showing at the annual meeting. This quote is as if one of her colleagues slipped her a piece of paper that read, "Maybe you should tell 'em we think our drug works on cancers, other than brain cancer?"
75 cents per post on Sundays, I gather; up from the weekday 60 cents.
Happy, Doc, to see your patience, like mine, wearing thin. April is nearly half gone...2023 nearly a third spent...and we receive no meaningful communication from the company. A long-overdue, New Year's Eve annual meeting, is insufficient.
Thanks for posting this. The YouTube video from the January news conference is interesting/insightful/worth the look.
Surely Doc, this bodes well for some revenue stream.
Tell me, please, once again Doc, that everything's going to be okay.
Thanks for the transcript. For me, perhaps the most telling/optimistic statement from Dr. Liau ref DCVax-L
" It's not yet FDA approved..." Emphasis on "yet."
Happy to have purchased more at under 67 cents today. Thank you.
Interesting article in March's "The Atlantic" ref short-selling...discusses current Justice Department investigation, citing reports that it's a probe of "possible coordination surrounding the publication of short reports, looking for signs of market manipulation or other trading abuses. The focus is on trading activity, not the content of the reports."
The same story quotes Elon Musk as saying SEC stands for "Shortseller Enrichment Commission."
