SYEV questions:
First, SYEV marketing doesn't make sense to me.
SAWYER Products has a very similar filtration system contained in a clear plastic bottle and they are on shelves in Walmart, Cabela's, BassPro, etc. Their bottle looks cheasier, unergonomic and less robust as compared to SYEV's bottle. Its retailing for around $30 bucks.
What are the hurdles to getting SYEV's bottles on major retailer shelves?
Why infomercials and Pat Boone?
Where is SYEV's manufacturing facilities? What are they capable of producing?
Thanks for any input.

On 10Bagger/Hank-
I have been reading his messages for years, starting at the RB board. I have researched his ideas and made many many trades that were similar to his. He is better informed than me and a little faster and has more resources ($) than I do.
Given the unknowns involved in the value microcap arena....and all that can work against you...following 10bagger on a trade here and there has helped the riskier side of my portfolio show big profits.
In my opinion, his best picks that are at buying levels right now are SPMI and SYEV.

Update on AMNF.pk and UVICF.ob.
1. AMNF.pk upped their quarterly and gave out a special.
2. UVICF.ob bought almost half of their outstanding shares.
JN
UVICF- What your thoughts on the PR this afternoon?
Today's PR has me a little perplexed. Are the 2.1m shares being purchased and then retired?
What is everyone and anyone's take on this deal?
Thanks.
Anyway, I am not here to try to get you guys to buy AMNF.pk. I realize micro stocks aren't for everyone.
I am looking for more dividend paying stocks with yields over 5% with a little top and bottom growth in consumer staples sector if possible.
Thanks in advance.
JN
Looking back from 2004 to present I show on increase per this PR:
Thursday, 06 December 2007
HAYWARD, CA (December 6, 2007) Armanino Foods of Distinction, Inc. (Pink Sheets Symbol: AMNF) The Board of Directors of Armanino Foods of Distinction today declared the Company’s regular quarterly dividend, increased its amount from $0.0125 per share to $0.0150 per share and declared a special dividend of an additional $0.0125 per share, for a total dividend amount of $0.0275 per share. These dividends will be payable on or about February 1, 2008 to shareholders of record of January 4, 2008.
Then the forward split, which doubled the shares and "reduced" the dividend to .0075.
Are you refering to the 2 for 1 stock split with the dividend being "reduced" accordingly?
Or some other reduction that I am not aware of?
Thanks in advance.
I like AMNF.pk and UVICF.ob and am looking for similar: small, simple, no debt, positive top-line/bottom line growth, high dividend companies. Thanks in advance!
SSKILL- Take a look at AMNF.pk. Simple business and a dependable dividend. Trades about like UVICF unfortunetly. But, it I think it fits your new income/dividend criteria as it does mine.
Thanks for your posts. I have been reading them for years.
JN
I like this company too.
Management is very shareholder friendly and with the substantial bottom-line growth along with very positive forward guidance of the growth continuinng, we should see an increase in the dividend, or large "special" dividend along with the quarterly, or maybe an acquistion or buyout.
This is a classic value micro stock....and the shareholders will be rewarded somewhere down the road...meanwhile, the 7.5% yield makes it an easy wait.
JMHO
Stupid Question...
Is the ticker IACAF.pk the same as IAE.v? Can someone explain the difference please?
Thanks in advance.
CNOA research report from Source Advisors has 12 mo. target of $11.00...
I am still buying both CNOA and UTVG.
This report should help CNOA over $5.oo, imo.
UTVG appoints James Treacy to board of directors.
In my opinion, Mr. Treacy's tracker record and name bring big time legitamcy to UTVG. In 2002 he was president of TMP Worldwide that owns Monster.com.
I found an interview from 2002 where he was asked about the growth of TMP Worldwide....and he said , "We went public in December 1996. Up until then, the company had been private. I would have described the company as a benevolent monarchy with a balance sheet a quarter-notch above, “Are you kidding me?” Five years later we’re a public company and a member of the S&P 500"
I liked the quote and thought I would share.
death-UTVG revenue restatement initially sent off red flags for me too. However, I think this self disclosure is a positive sign from the management of the acquiring parent company. The restatement does not affect earnings at all and it actually increases profit margins.
I could be wrong. JMHO.
Thanks.
UTVG- DEC. has been my overall buy month for years now. However, this DEC seems trickier than most. I am only buying UTVG for now. Anyone else like this one as much as I do @ 3.37-3.40?
DWVS ...trading up a little ....anyone following this stock. Jason
DYSL had a nice 4th quarter... seems like a classic VMC. I would like to hear from the experts on this little stock. Thanks. Jason
BUKS.ob...I am surprised there is not much discussion here about this stock. Seems like a classic value microcap to me...looks like its trading around support. Anyone have an opinion on this one?
WWAT @ .275, mc $23m...traded at 4x volume today on a little PR with known info. Jason
WWAT.ob signed 2 new residential solar contracts...(tiny contracts) bring backlog for 2005 to $12.6m compared to total rev. for 2004 to $5.6m.
Jason
WWAT.ob...@ .25 Can you guys please take a look at this stock??? My last 2 swings for the fence were HQSM and CGCP...and now I like WWAT...my confidence is rattled...objective opinions sought. Thanks.
Jason
WWAT .26-.27 22m market cap...signed another much smaller contract...in the housing market today. Contract backlog is around 12.5m in revenue...vs 2004 rev of 5.2m.
WWAT signed a big contract today and I took an initial position...With the contracts signed this year, the recent insider purchase and a patented product in the solar energy arena the stock could run.
I am trying to get back on the horse after my zipcode was changed to a tent city address after the CGCP 10q.
CGCP...I too made my first buy in the .70's then .60's and .50's and now .40's...the short term under performance is murdering my portfolio due to overweight in this single issue.
I expect big rev. due solar gen2100 sales...with momemtum going forward. Anymore FDA approvals will rocket this stock, imo.
However, if the new lasers and blood platelette thingy are not selling well I am screwed.
Jason
CGCP
I added another 5k at .50 today. I think they can net $3m in 2005 putting the forward PE at 6.3. My 12mo. price target is $1.80. On the negative side the future write-offs due to the $ acquired last OCT is not quantifiable. The loan payback is going to cost about 350k per quarter....but the write-offs are unknown.
I am gambling that CGCP has turned the profit corner this year...based on last quarter's big numbers. If it wasn't a one quarter wonder then this stock could easily triple over the next year.
Hweb...this is from the 10k.
Total non-operating expense of $1,816,000 increased $1,779,000 or 4808% for the year ended December 31, 2004 when compared to $37,000 for the year ended December 31, 2003. This increase is primarily due to non-operating, non-cash charges recorded in 2004 in relation to the Secured Convertible Term Note ("Note") issued in October 2004. These non-operating, non-cash charges resulted from mark to market charges on derivatives and warrants and interest and debt issuance costs associated with the Note. Since the fair value of the warrants and derivatives is tied in large part to our stock price, in the future, if our stock price increases between reporting periods, the warrants and derivatives become more valuable. As such, there is no
way to forecast what the non-operating, non-cash charges will be in the future or what the future impact will be on our financial statements.
Does anyone have an idea how this will play out?
Jason
CGCP
Conservative est....(a little blue sky numbers guessing)... I think CGCP can net .750m/qtr or $3m for 2005. Current MC is about 25m giving a forward pe of 8.3 with revs conservatively at $21m...(apx 30% increase). Peers are selling for PE's exceeding 30...so if we give CGCP a conservative PE of 20 we should see $1.80 per share. This value guessing does not consider rev from the Pearl Delivery System...which according to the company will sell at higher prices than the Solar Gen2100 laser..with equal or higher margins. I think the catalyst for this stock to trade above $1.00 in the short term is for FDA approval to be announced of the Pearl System. And as we all know from listening to the CC last month the announcement of FDA approval should occur "Very soon".
In summary, given a quarter like the last one or better...and FDA approval I think we could see a share price of $3.00 or better.
I made an assumption last month that CGCP would breakout above .70 based on the qtr and CC...I was wrong! I have been averaging down and now (right or wrong) this is my largest postion.

I have had to average down in this position recently...due to my assumption of the stock breaking out above .70 after the 4th qtr and CC. It didn't happen...I am down to an av of .59 now and hoping for the best of course. But I think my guesses above are not to far off. We should be slapping each other on the back sometime this year.
Jason
Thanks for the board...this sleeper ought to wake up someday.
Jason
Right or wrong...I went with my gut...and sold my 30k this afternoon. I actually hope I am wrong about the whole thing..
Good luck!
Jason
RRainman...now I am confused...Did you just talk to Joseph Messina...or did you have someone else talk to him? Your messages seem to be contradicting each other...or maybe I am suspicious of everything today! (You're not part of the conspiracy are you??)
Jason
RRainman...the Pr about the report referred to Suisse Finance as "renowned"....this is where the problem lies...it seems a bit fraudulent to me...Maybe its just me ...but Messina calling back and saying everything is ok only sounds like so much smoke unless I can see some relation with Credit Suisse other than a name that SOUNDS the same.
Other than that, it would also be nice to compare other reports prepared by this company and Messina. I can't find any...but that does not mean they don't exist.
Jason
RRainman...did you ask him who Suisse Finance (America) Research is? Have they written other research reports on other public companies? etc...
Thanks.
Jason
HQSM
I can't find any affiliation between Suisse Finance America Research and Credit Suisse or Credit Suisse Boston. In the PR Suisse Finance is referred to as "renowned"...implying an affiliation.
After initial research...the afiliation seems extremely suspect to me. I didn't want it to be true...
Jason
Suisse Finance (America) Research
I can not find any connection between Suisse Finance America Research and either Credit Suisse or Suisse Boston.
I can not find any other research reports anywhere on the web written by Joseph J. Messina or "Suisse Finance America Research" . I called all the numbers for Joseph Messina...and left messsages...no return ph call. I call Norbert Sporns and left messages...and emailed...also, with no response.
This bothers me because in the pr conscerning the research report Suisse Finance is referred to as "renowned"....implying that they are a branch or in some way affiliated with the parent company Credit Suisse. This doesn't appear to be the case. I also called Wesley an account manager with Credit Suisse in New York and he confirmed that Suisse Finance America Research is not affiliated with CS...or CSB.
I have the feeling that this "report" is completely bogus.
I wanted it not to be true...
DAAT:
Jumped off a cliff at 3pm...anyone got a good handle on this one...?
Jason
HQSM....I don't think this stock will stay perpetually undervalued for the following reason...
1. Fish is sexy (in a kinky kind of way) but SUSTAINABLE FISH is very sexy. This will attract investors sooner or later.
I think the share price could remain in the doldrums even after a great quarter or 2 or 3...due to operations in China...But, HQSM is the only public company with a somewhat succesful aquaculture export operation...If mngmnt even moderately executes the Sex Appeal inherant in this stock will overide the risks of operations in China and the share price will increase accordingly.
Also, this is the only "Chinese" stock I currently own...however, I feel strongly that the market will not always value Chinese companys at such extreme discounts as we see today.
HQSM's current mar.cap. is $21m...when it pops I think mc $100 to $200m is within reach. With that said...I must add...That it sucks holding it while its going down...but given the info we have now I think it is the strongest buy this board has right now.

I am scared to ask? But I feel compelled...
What happened with CXTI?
Thanks.

Stockpeeker-DAAT
I missed this one the first time...and am eyeballing it hard now...What's your opinion on where the trigger should be pulled?
Thanks.
