I am feeling like a celebrity with you speculating on my status! 🤩
Chuck and I aren't outsourced. We're full-time and real people. We're mostly on the tech side (iHub & ADVFN). We've wanted to get more involved in the community lately, which is why you've seen us floating around and working with the OG Geeks here.
PLUS1 - to quash any rumors there - we'll probably leave it available on wallets for a bit longer to ensure everybody has plenty of time to do whatever they want with it. There's no rush or special date tied to it. Our point was simply we weren't going to make use of it any longer on iHub. We had started on a replacement coin (non-crypto) in the spirit of a fun rewards system, but that got paused, taking a back seat to other priorities. I expect we'll resume on it at some point.
iHub (and the markets) has gone through much ebb and flow over the years, looking at the posting volumes and stats over the...decades.
We've got plenty of ideas we're working on and look forward to sharing them with you all.

@MrMike241 -- always appreciate your feedback + attention to the details! You're the first person I've seen that spotted that unread message highlighting. It's our attempt at improving the old school browser method for coloring links.
Will see what we can do about the deleted messages context.
Interesting use of both FV and CV. I am a FV man myself, though, I tip my hat to CV for it's long-term performance. 🫡
@work-n-hard -- Yeah, as Shelly said, those added via Classic Board List will be converted over into the new thumbs/reactions style. None will be lost and carried over to new style, which will replace it soon (it's in progress now). Nice catch. 🕵️♀️
Am I reading this right - Janice Shell happily embracing reactions/emojis? 🤯
@ksquared -- good catch. We'll add them there + Profile (Latest Posts). Does this mean you like 'em??? 😍

Reactions 👍 🚀 🔥
We've extended the Like concept to include a large set of reactions/emojis. You can now place all sorts of emojis/reactions on any post when you simply want to react or quickly express something without a full response. You can get to the full set by clicking the little smiley+
It's quite fun - give it a try.

Thanks for that. Confirmed. We'll get it fixed.
@DrivenByPain - our market data support team can assist you with that -- help@investorshub.com
@StockItOut
I've not had trouble installing it or running it once I allowed an exception for the software or directory it's installed within the AV software. Most AV software will allow you to make an exception, if you choose.
By me saying it's not a recommendation to install the software is just me saying that I/we didn't write the software, so I/we aren't taking any responsibility for how it works or doesn't work is all. As I said, me personally, I've had no trouble running it - but that decision is up to each user to take the leap.
Again, alternative suggestion if you don't want to mess with it is just putting it on an exchange. That, of course, entails risks as well. It's crypto - it's a wild world out there.
@Willymon - You can definitely bookmark the crypto market movers. As long as you're on the page, just bookmark it like any other page you'd bookmark. If you're trying to do something else, let me know what you mean.
Not a bad idea about crypto being where TSX is. We do get quite a bit of Canadian traffic, though. Let me check the stats prior to pissing off a bunch of our friends from the North. 🇨🇦
@StockItOut - I get the same as you when running Avast AV. I've never had any trouble running it with an exception. It flags most Bitcoin-based wallets as infected (which is what PLUS1 is). It's the world of crypto and PLUS1 is independent/external to iHub, so it's not a recommendation to run the software - do as you wish and as your software advises. You can always just transfer out to an exchange and never have to mess with a local wallet at all.
@nowwhat2 I am taking a look at your report about the charting.
Let's break this up into two parts so I can try to help here.
1) I am not clear on what your question is using the black chart and the two Bitcoin charts from iHub at two different times. The black chart is a 1 year, daily interva (I think) and the two from iHub are intraday. What are you asking specifically or trying to demonstrate with those? Our 1 year daily looks the same (except for a few bars missing between Thursday when you took your screenshot and today when I did mine)
2) The SPY + BTCUSD charts are in US/Eastern. The US open is happening at 9:30am EST on both charts, if you're referring to that open -- or at 4am EST, if you're referring to the premarket open. I'll draw the 9:30am EST open on the chart taken at the exact same time. It was pretty low impact open, so not much to see.
If seeing the timing of the US open with BTCUSD overlayed is important for you, you can try our Advanced charts and do either a SPY or BTCUSD overlay. I intentionally have premarket/afterhours switched off for this screenshot so it's obvious when the US open hits (flat line to ticking).
Matter of fact, the advanced charts would be a lot easier to zero in on the details you're looking for, down to the minute. The smaller charts are really meant to give you a zoomed out view for the entire day.
@StockItOut -- you can withdraw your PLUS1 coins to an exchange that trades PLUS1 or to your own PLUS1 wallet. All done here: https://ih.advfn.com/common/plusonecoin/balance
@Giovanni - all posts - in both Classic and Full View have a link/icon called 'Last Read' - if you click that, it will mark that as your last read message and keep up with it in your Favorites and do exactly what you're looking for.
We can only have 5 instruments in the desktop view and a couple less in tablet. So we'd need to swap them out, if we did.
What would you suggest be the 5?
@cintrix - it's a good question and also a tough design choice.
If you look at any number of sites, you'll see this new design is similar.
Reddit, Facebook, a handful of financials sites - the mailbox/alerts + Profile is in the top right.
You can go the other way with it and look at Twitter and a couple others - it's on the left in a full panel (this is nice, too)
I want us to try it a little bigger on both icons and see if that helps.
FYI - we moved Advanced Search over under Boards in the Menu -- it seemed more logical since Advanced Search is related to Boards only. It's also available in the normal top search by clicking 'Search All Boards & More' -> Advanced Search.
I've pitched about a 50% increase in size of the Profile Icon & Mailbox to @IH Geek [Chuck]
He's the one with the crayons, so we'll see if he goes for it. 🔬
@jobynimble - try Favorites out on your iPad now and let me know if it's better.

This isn't cache-related. I was able to reproduce it on iPad Portrait. Will let you know when we've pushed a fix. Sorry about that, we didn't see this in testing.
@jmvho That's just temporary if I'm right on what's impacting you. Just clear your cache and all should be good - https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050
While devs sometimes resemble robots, we do need to recharge our batteries. I confirmed that at midnight, we're looking at it today. 🤖🔋😴🙏
@Countmein - thanks for the report. You're right, it's not loading for me either. Will figure it out and let you know when resolved.
More tea, Vicar?
@staymaker Streamer is now known as Monitor. ADVFN has long called this Monitor, so we've adopted same word as them for this tool. It's otherwise exactly the same.
@jobynimble I can reproduce what you're seeing on iPad, Portrait > Favorites. I took a video and sent it to Chuck. We'll get it fixed.
I think we can make the mailbox more obvious (bigger/wider) + the profile pic larger. It's hard to tell how handsome I am from that small of a photo.
New Header on iHub
The idea behind this was to make the experience between the community/boards and data smoother.
A new ad structure has been implemented that dropped at least one ad per page. It should also result in less unexpected movement on the screen. 😍
We moved several of the very old header pages (particularly on market data pages) into the new header. 🧹
📣 Your mailbox can now be found in top right corner. Click on the envelope and that will take you to your mailbox. We can look to improve that if it's hard to see, but this style is how modern sites are doing it. Advanced Search is currently under Discover, but that might be better under 'Boards' column in the menu. 🤔
Profile icon in the top right is a nice change. It also has useful links inside related to you specifically -- profile, settings, image gallery. 🤳
We've added some new content: the ticker tape at the top with the major market indices + on some pages 'content boxes' so you might discover a new feature of the site or new board that you might be interested in checking out. 💡
Give it a little time to set in and we'll look at any/all feedback.
Ah, yes. That was a boo-boo. We fixed that about 15 min later.
@janice shell Could you take a screenshot of what ad is popping up that you're having to close?
