Just to be clear, I've held over 150k shares since before the pandemic. I still believe this could go somewhere if it is managed properly. I met Ben and a few others when Tempe opened, and thought I had something real.
Does anyone have any solid information about why the people running this company have not completed a recent audit? One would think that with all of the recent success that they're bragging about, with record profits and cash-on-hand, that they would do the responsible thing and FINALLY get this stock rolling. It's been years, and they still look to be either incompetent or deliberately ignoring shareholders. Anyone?
Hmmm...looks like nobody wants to buy unaudited pinkies. After all the great news. Go figure.
Who is Lamhsm?
Yep, still here after all this time. Sitting on a very modest 150k shares. Agreed, trust has to be re-earned before I will kick in any more $$. I'm not greedy, and this is my retirement fund (gambling side). The safe side is loaded up with mutual funds that have earned me 20%+ since FUNN tanked, and I only half-believe any more.
go $FUNN. yay
Should be a strong buy with P/E under 4, but that doesn't seem to be enough to drive an accumulation spree.
I have seen these trade numbers (and other similar odd trades) and the theories behind them. What are those particular numbers supposed to mean this week? Just curious...
Wow, PPS has taken a giant dump with all the good news lately. Maybe we should ask for some bad news...?
Yep, this is the kind of crap that happens when they talk up a big success story and then fail to provide timely audited proof. I only hope that they can recover before my investment is worth fiddly squat.
LOL, the last few rounds of news has pushed the SP lower each time. Those looking for bargains should wait for the next batch of "big announcements."
Until S&L edges into the black, I can't imagine that any big investors watching from the sidelines are going to see a pink penny stock as a solid investment. Hell, I could easily lose millions trying to build a business, but we're counting on these guys not to.
Thank you, I'll keep that in mind as we head into the new year.
We all did. It's a large part of why I have lost faith in current management.
Nope, I see it. I've been watching all along. Now I see covert dilution in the form of preferred shares being dealt to creditors like a hand of Gin Rummy. Our ordinary shares are still dropping in value.
I have chosen to wait for parity as well. Not selling, not buying either. My only comments have been that the gap between revenue and operating costs is growing faster than these people can manage, and fulfillment of their claims of what is to come have been tardy at best and false at their worst.
Value is in the eye of the investor, and the people with the most money don't see it either, judging from the market activity of the past few years.
Are you really trying to downplay the missed opportunities with Walmart? Is that the "fact" you're advancing? That the world's largest retailer is not that important to the revenue stream of our company?
Please.
If a football player dropped the ball as many times as these guys have, they would have been on waivers these past few seasons. Stumbling fumblers don't get to play in the big leagues.
The (current) CEO has a history of announcing things that just don't pan out, or take waaaaay longer than he said they would.
Re: GrO3 units shipped
Re: A couple of new locations for S&L
Re: KTU on WalMart shelves
Re: Dividend shares
At least that bag you're holding can't be very heavy.
Hey hey hey! It's been "any day now" for over a year!
Ya gotta believe!!! Have some Kool-Aid.
Speaking for myself, I have enough as long as it keeps sinking into the OTC mire. I will buy again when my shares are green and going up. Until then confidence is low as far as the ability of current management to turn Amfil Technologies profitable and FUNN on the upswing.
Yep, and someone forgot to light the fuse and turn on the light switch when we posted fins and became current. Looks like there's a lot more to it than those outward signs.
Someone with a lot of shares wants to sell them at $0.06 and keep selling them. Anyone have an explanation that isn't a guess?
Not a surprise to you either? I was hoping the disappointing financials would be overlooked in favor of the overwhelming potential of this company and the success in opening new locations and getting product on the shelves.
Looks like the market is not going to forgive and forget after all, if current trading is any indication. These guys took too long to do what they said they were going to do, and we're not seeing the returns we were hoping for. Oh well , hold long and keep the faith.
Thanks RelayLou, I'm not selling. But I'm not buying any more either until the trend in SP at least reverses from this 2-year downtrend. I'm like Fox Mulder in the old X-files; I WANT to believe.
I've sunk as much as I can into this, it's a fantastic opportunity in an exploding market niche. It's the people running it that I don't believe in, because
A) they're consistently late with most of their financial filings
B) they keep saying they're doing things that don't get done (grO3 units that never got sold, new locations announced to be opened in 2019), and
C) I don't see positive cash flow to fund growth.
No, I couldn't do a better job myself, I don't know how. They talk a good story, even I could do that, but they can't seem to follow through.
Been watching very closely for two years.
Yes. Any day now...any day now...any day now....
LOL indeed
And I'm not blaming anyone else for my investment choices. All I said was that the value of my portfolio depends on what other people will pay for the stocks that I have purchased. That's fundamental to investing.
I believed in this company until they developed an unmistakable pattern of failing to do what they claimed to be doing by a certain time frame. Their claims, not mine, and filing dates are well known way ahead of time.
Three examples: Guelph, Tucson, 2019 audit. Maybe it's just a weird coincidence that the SP has been dropping in lockstep with these failures.
Psssh, I've been tapping in all along and I'm tapped out. Invested all I can afford to lose if these guys continue to fumble. I have some cash waiting in iShares funds that have been making tiny gains all along. I can sell those in an instant when this fuse gets lit. Not until though.
Yeah, that has been the rhetoric since 2017. As I implied, I don't think these people can make it happen. Gonna need a whole lot more than an outline of grand expansion plans at this point.
Bottom line: The value of my portfolio depends on what other people will pay for this stock. That has been declining for two years. Show me that other people will pay 20 cents, 25 cents, 50 cents, a dollar for a share in FUNN.
Go ahead, I'll wait some more.
Ummm... I'm only here because selling would result in unacceptable losses. 2 years is too long to wait for the PPS to pop again, and I need to see it back over $0.20 before I will believe that these folks can turn a profit. I'm not very well versed in funding startups, but I don't see how FUNN can move forward with their grand plans without printing more shares.
Can they warehouse them and prep them for delivery? That can't be a bad idea.
How about just producing enough in the first run to fill Walmart's order as well as Kickstarter fulfillments? In my opinion it was irresponsible on several levels not to do so, regardless of the cost. As is shown in the recent financial filings, the company is millions of dollars in the red over the last year or so as it is. Filling a PO for one of the world's largest retailers seems like the least risky business venture for which to borrow money/issue shares/scrape up the cash. Thoughts?
No no no! This stock is going to skyrocket any day now! They've been saying so for months and months and months!!!
This company is a long way from profitability if the financials are correct
Quite a few of us have expressed the same feelings. I suspect that if/when the PPS starts going up we're going to see a lot of people dumping. This company is a long way from profitability if the financials are correct.
WOW! Sure glad I didn't join the buying frenzy at 0.07ish
Looks like those cheapies will be available a bit longer after all...
To take down the stop sign
Maybe they're waiting until after lunch
And how many times has that very sentiment been posted here in the past few years?
As I've said in the past, I no longer trust these people to make money. This is an investment for me, and it's been red for more than two years. I reiterate:
I won't mind chasing a stock AS LONG AS IT'S HEADING NORTH.
I have limited funds, and I've stuck to the first rule of equities speculation, to paraphrase,
"Don't invest more than you can afford to lose."
These guys have to prove their abilities to me now.
