Hey Melvin, Pentagon cybersecurity issues on all major TV News networks. Let's see some additional USA government contracts to manage all these leaks. I bet VeeMost is up for this massive challenge.
A leaked trove of classified documents outlining American and NATO war planning in Ukraine has sparked a US military investigation, the New York Times has reported. The briefing presentation slides, some marked “top secret,” show assessed troop strengths, timelines for arms shipments and ammunition expenditures, among other data.
The files appeared on social media earlier this week, and while the source remains unclear, the leaks have set off alarms in the Pentagon, which has launched a probe to determine how the documents were obtained, the NYT reported on Thursday.
“We are aware of the reports of social media posts and the department is reviewing the matter,” Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh told the outlet.
Officials said they are working to have the material removed from the internet, but had not succeeded as of Thursday night.

One of the documents marked “top secret” provides the “Status of the Conflict as of 1 Mar.,” suggesting the slides are several weeks old. Though they do not describe any specific battle plans, the files offer a glimpse into US intelligence assessments for Russian and Ukrainian troop levels, timetables for training and equipment deliveries, weather data, as well as ammunition expenditures – including for the US-supplied HIMARS platform. The Pentagon has not previously disclosed the rate at which Ukrainian forces are using munitions for the weapon.
Some of the documents appear to have been altered, with multiple different versions circulating online showing wildly varying estimates for losses on both sides of the conflict.
Another file lists 12 new Ukrainian combat brigades – which are usually made up of 4,000 to 5,000 troops – noting that the US and NATO bloc are training and supplying nine of them. Of those, the document states that six would be ready by the end of March, and the remaining three by April 30.
If genuine the documents represent one of the most significant intelligence breaches since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and come as Kiev is reportedly preparing a major counter-offensive against Russian forces. One of the documents shows two possible routes into the Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. It is unclear when the counter-attacks are set to begin, but Ukrainian Maj. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov recently claimed that the two sides would fight a “final” and “decisive battle” sometime in the spring.

Word police? MSU 'Inclusive Guide' gives words to avoid like 'Pioneer,' 'Christmas tree'
By Dave Kinchen Published March 31, 2023 11:58PM the MichiganFOX 2 Detroit
Among those no-no words:
"Frontier" and "Pioneer." Words deemed "colonial language" according to Michigan State’s Inclusion Division.
They also say to avoid holiday-related mentions so non-Christians are not excluded, like:
"Christmas trees"
"Reindeer"
"Eggs"
"Bunnies"
Other terms are also frowned upon:
"Cake walk"
"Peanut gallery"
"Grandfather clause"
"Rule of thumb"
"Bonkers"
MSU administrators say they may be considered "racist, sexist or ableist" in nature.
FOX 2: "What do you think about some of those terms?"
"Well, I think that you have to walk the streets down here very carefully and lightly," said one man. "I think it’s about just having consideration for everybody else and what they think."
FOX 2 hit the streets around the MSU Detroit Center in Midtown to see what people think about the new language guidelines.
"I do think it’s more worth it to be sensitive with our words. I think we are becoming more progressive in that sense so I do agree I mean we are in 2023," said one woman. "Whatever makes people feel more comfortable, I think that we should be able to adapt to that."
But some consider it an all-out attack on free speech. Student Audrey Whipple phoned into Fox News Channel from East Lansing. She considers herself a conservative activist.
"We’ve seen universities put out these inclusive language guides, these harmful language guides and Michigan State has just gone too far," Whipple said.
A spokesman for the MSU administration sent FOX 2 a statement saying quote:
"Contrary to initial reports, the university does not ban specific terms through the inclusive language guide. This guide provides recommendations, not requirements, for more inclusive communications at MSU. It also provides guidance on ways to be more inclusive with imagery use during holiday seasons in the winter and spring by encouraging individuals to consider how using imagery solely from one religion may contribute other religions feeling excluded or less than."
This however, does not satisfy everyone.
"This list just continues to grow and grow, these terms that are deemed harmful that everyday Americans are using," Whipple said. "And in my mind professors are going to be worried so much about the social shame that comes with even just using the words that they’re used to using."
The guide says that people do make mistakes and to give yourself grace if you mistakenly use them.
The university says these are not banned words - just recommendations.

$3.7 Billion Offer for Tesla Supplier Jolts Lithium Stocks -- WSJ
Today 10:00 AM ET (Dow Jones)Print
By Stephen Wilmot
Investors have a new reason to like Australian lithium stocks: takeover action.
The Sydney-listed shares of Liontown Resources, which is working on a big lithium-ore prospect in Western Australia, jumped 69% on Tuesday after U.S. lithium producer Albemarle said it made a $3.7 billion preliminary offer to acquire the company and received a rejection. The stock of Liontown's bigger peer Pilbara Minerals rose 12%.
The moves buck the recent trend. Most lithium stocks have fallen since their November peaks as prices for the metal in China have weakened (https://www.wsj.com/articles/battery-metal-prices-fall-back-to-earth-fd6f04cb). The country's red-hot electric-vehicle market, a key consumer of lithium compounds, has cooled following the expiration of Beijing's purchase subsidies at the end of last year.
Liontown says the turn in sentiment is a reason for Albemarle's interest. In a statement the target company noted the "opportunistic timing" and said the bid "substantially undervalues" it. It sounds like Liontown isn't shutting the door completely on Albemarle, which already made two previous offers.
Liontown's key asset is a site called Kathleen Valley, which is due to start producing lithium in 2024. Tesla, Ford and GM's battery partner LG Energy signed supply agreements with the company last year that cover the vast majority of its initial supplies. As a U.S. free-trade partner devoid of geopolitical drama, Australia is an ideal lithium source for the booming EV industry (https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-world-needs-more-lithium-and-pilbara-can-help-11660820224) in the U.S.
Liontown's shares closed about 3% above the latest offer price. With a market value of about $26 billion and net debt of only $1.6 billion, Albemarle can afford to bid a bit more if it wants to. The deal drama is likely just getting started.

It's St. Patrick's Day > VeeMost closes Green today!
It's St. Patrick's Day > VeeMost closes Green today!
A man in Vancouver, Canada was somehow able to get into someone else’s Tesla Model 3 and drive off with it only by using the Tesla app in his own phone. Rajesh Randev told Global News he thought he was getting into his own Tesla since the car he took was the same color as his.
When Randev was getting his car, there were two nearly identical Model 3s parked side by side, he explained to the outlet. He added that he was in a hurry and had to pick up his kids from school, so he unlocked the wrong Tesla and drove off. I get it, we’ve all been in a rush before and nearly walked up to the wrong car. However, I’d say it’s pretty rare that a car will open up and be able to drive away — at least in these modern times.
“Apparently I found some glitch,” Randev said to Global News.
He didn’t realize his colossal oopsie until he was driving. That’s when he noticed a crack on the car’s windshield — something his own Model 3 didn’t have. He called his wife to ask if maybe she noticed a crack, but she didn’t… since it wasn’t their car. On top of that, Randev said he noticed the car’s charger wasn’t where he usually kept it. It wasn’t long before the Model 3’s rightful owner reached out.
“After five, 10 minutes I got a text on my phone that said ‘Rajesh are you driving [a] Tesla,” he explained to the outlet. Randev went on to say the person who messaged him told him he was driving the wrong car. That’s when Randev parked the car and noticed that the rims on it were different from his.
They set a plan to switch the cars back after he picked his kids from school. That’s right, Randev was able to get into and drive away with the Model 3 that wasn’t his for a second time.
The two finally met up, and Randev said the other Tesla owner told him he was able to get his phone number from a document he had inside the Tesla. That means, if you’re following along, the other guy was able to gain access to Randev’s Tesla as well. Wild.
Global News says the Tesla app is intended to give access to the owner’s Tesla as long as the phone and the vehicle have connectivity. From there, owners are able to lock and unlock the vehicle, manage the climate control and find charging stations. However, it’s intended to be used with the owner’s actual Tesla, not just some rando’s with a similar paint job.
Randev said he attempted to reach out to Tesla with video evidence, but all he’s gotten is radio silence.
Jalopnik would attempt to reach out to the Austin, Texas-based automaker ourselves, but when you call its PR department, all you get is the dial up internet sound.
So many fundamental catalysts happening! I know technical catalysts are important, but the fundamental catalysts such as $75,000,000. in ongoing revenues are table pounders. VeeMost is a great $$$$$ opportunity.
Nice! Liking the ongoing catalysts that will takes us Green right through St. Patrick's Day. Let's go VeeMost!
