In both the GM and FC cases (more so the FC case), a makeover has been or is in the process of being done. Revenue paid the price while expenses soared. Not expecting that to be the case for GM in Q2 and forward, and for FC Q3 and forward. Time will tell.
On the CC, Vringo mentioned they (GM) already had 2 mil in bookings/orders for April/May. Assuming it stays the same or improves, looking at a minimum 7 mil for the year, which would cover the companys yearly cash burn rate.
Mine leave me for a lot longer than that...lolz
I think you meant a stop loss of 7.5%...
I will try to post more info here on iHub. I don't use it very often because it is very slow and locks up my laptop at least 50 percent of the time, forcing me to reboot. The blog gets updated every time I find something new to add, so it has fairly recent info on it. As a reminder, the ZTE and Google info has their own page at the top of the blog for those wanting to do some background research. GL!
You must not be following me on Twitter. I posted what happened with that case awhile back. The original case number was "disposed of" and a new number (CS 354/2016) was assigned in its place. The next court date is scheduled for July 28th, 2016.
Got to twitter and review my tweets from 25April: https://twitter.com/TheRealVRNG24
or check Section 6 of the blog: https://vrng24.wordpress.com/2015/04/09/vrng/
Hope this helps!

Now 1k shares at 2.41... Hey, its a start.... Current AH bid is 2.20
Potential catalysts:
1. license Huawei
2. License Ericsson
3. Settle/License DTV
4. Settle/License Lowes
5. Fli Charge partnership with major party
6. Fli Charge new product line a hit
7. Initiate new lawsuits against ???
8. Lang announces major milestone in cyber-security space
9. Massive insider purchases (stop laughing!)
10. Any thing else in the pipeline that we are unaware of.
Me, I am giving V 6 months to get it together before taking my losses and moving on. We should have some kind of status on items 1 thru 8 by then. If not, we may be sucking wind... GLTAL
There was actually more buying than selling (although selling picked up quite a bit in the last 2 hours or so). There was no real reason for todays rise (and it MAY have possibly been related to the IGS v Lowes filing; which really was immaterial). Do I think that management is feeling any heat? Not really. I would like to think that Bernstein and Abbe are applying pressure, but they are all birds of a feather, so no telling what is happening behind closed doors. Will see what happens tomorrow and Friday...
My point is that I am not going to sell now and take a monumental loss, when there is still some potential to get some of those losses back. I know I will never break even, but am hopeful that possible catalysts such as Huawei, Ericsson, DirecTV, or Fli Charge will help minimize my losses. And if they don't, well, so be it.. life goes on
As long as the bar is open, and there are still girls around... we still have a chance...
Will concede defeat and go home when the girls are gone and the bar is closed...
How is this for leadership:

Maybe it's just me, but he has not shown a lot of confidence in the company that he is the CEO of. Not to mention his acceptance of his annual raise in salary. All shareholders can hope for, is that he is doing his best behind the scenes to increase shareholder value (which has yet to happen)...
• a long-term performance element in the form of equity, to incentivize our named executive officers to achieve "superior corporate performance".
It is NOT WORKING ! Either that or the definition of the word "superior" has changed drastically for the worst..... lolz
I highly doubt that we will see a shareholder meeting between now and the annual shareholder meeting which will probably take place in the 4th quarter of 2016. Only a highly material event would trigger one before then. GL!

Not suggesting anything one way or the other. Merely sharing info that I find. Perhaps one of the more knowledgeable folks in this forum can chime in with their thoughts.
Posted PACER Docs 34, 35 and 36 in the IGS v Lowes case to Sections 1 and 4 of the blog. I also posted a link to a Confidential Treatment Order submitted to the SEC by Vringo as part of the ZTE settlement in Section 1.

Slight problem folks:
a WhattUp router sends out focused RF signals on the same bands as WiFi which are then absorbed and converted into DC power by a "chip embedded in the device".
“These transmitters can be built into household appliances, TVs, speakers and standalone energy routers,” explains Engadget. And therein lies the only problem with the solution: "receiving devices have to have the necessary chip embedded".
So you have to buy the router; which is only good for 15 feet.. any further and you now need to buy a repeater.
And each of your devices requires an embedded chip. Not an add on case, but an embedded chip for each device.
Don't see people installing routers in their vehicles either just to use this wireless technology..
Anyway.. my 2 cents (and that is all its worth).. time will tell if FC is worth what Vringo is putting into it. I guess we will see how their product line is accepted or rejected when it comes out.

SDNY PACER Doc 35 (QS v DTV): QS Response to DTV Amended Counterclaim has been posted in Sections 1 and 3 of the blog.
https://vrng24.wordpress.com/2015/04/09/vrng/
QS sued DTV for infringement of two patents (US 9047626 B2 & US 9117228 B1)on 20Oct2015. Since then, QS has had 2 other patents published (US 20160029103 28Jan2016 & 20160044345 11Feb2016) that also deal with the same topic (Content Distribution System and Method) as the original two patents used in the lawsuit.
I don’t know if QS can amend the lawsuit to include the two new patents as being infringed upon as well. But, this does put additional pressure on DTV to settle IMHO. Just putting this out there as I believe the two additional patents will only strengthen the QS case against DTV.

Good article but the author should have been more explicit in how much money Nokia got out of the deal, which was very little.
Mark Cuban - Vringo discussion (IPWatchDog Article Nov2015)
QUINN: How do you reconcile funding the EFF Stupid Patent Chair, your dislike of software patents and your decision to heavily invest in Vringo? It seems your decision to invest in Vringo was substantially related to their patent infringement lawsuit against Google, is that correct?
CUBAN: It was a cheap hedge. The company asked for support. I told them the same thing. Other shareholders asked for support. I said the same. When markets act with stupidity I will often hedge by buying instruments that I would not otherwise buy. I think high frequency trading is an enormous market structure risk. I spend far too much money hedging my investments as a result. Same thing. I picked Vringo out of nostalgia. I thought the old Lycos patents had at least a chance. If there wasn’t a Vringo I would have put the money elsewhere. If patent law was not so bad I would have kept the money in my pocket.
QUINN: With respect to your Vringo answer, I don’t doubt that you are telling the truth, but can you understand why people might think this position undercuts your views on software and patent trolls?
CUBAN: No. It makes no sense that they don’t understand it. The system is corrupt and doesn’t work. There is no more important time to hedge.
QUINN: It seems based on your definition of patent trolls you turned into a patent troll when you invested in Vringo. I don’t personally think Vringo is a patent troll, but the optics seem bad. And while my wealth pales in comparison to yours I find it hard to believe that there weren’t equally enticing investment opportunities that wouldn’t have required you to go against your beliefs.
CUBAN: Of course Vringo is a troll. That’s exactly why I used them as a hedge.

Financial Update
• Vringo had approximately $27 million in current cash and court deposits as of December 31, 2015. We expect to redeem the court deposits during the first quarter of 2016
• As of the end of 2015 we reduced our accounts payable and contingent liabilities by approximately 60%, resulting in a significantly improved balance sheet
• Our outstanding debt is currently $3.6 million which is expected to be fully paid off by no later than July 2016
• Based on our anticipated cash burn, we believe that our cash position will sufficiently fund over 4 years of operations, assuming zero increase in revenues from the recently acquired businesses and no further monetization of our patent portfolio

Litigation against both Lowes and DTV was already in progress when the PR was sent, so it stands to reason that the price of litigating those 2 lawsuits was built into their figures. And since no new litigation has been initiated since then, those numbers should still be valid. And I don't expect to see litigation against other infringers of the NOK (ZTE) patents as I fully expect the company to come to a licensing agreement with those companies in an effort to save both parties the expense of litigation. Perhaps after a DTV win, Vringo will incur litigation expenses by going after other infringers of the QS patents, but that is months from now if not longer. All IMHO.
DTV is one case in one country, unlike the ZTE saga. So to compare the amount of money that Vringo will spend litigating the DTV case as being similar to ZTE is not a fair comparison. You may have a valid point should Vringo decide to go after someone like Huawei. Just my 2 cents worth...
Just added SDNY doc 21 (IGS response to Lowes M2D) to Section 1 of the blog: https://vrng24.wordpress.com/2015/04/09/vrng/
We (shareholders) do not know for a fact that the loan is being paid off in shares. Vringo has the option of making their monthly payment in a) shares, or b) cash. Although most assume that Vringo is paying the loan off in shares, that does not necessarily make it so.
"The principal amount of the outstanding Notes will be repaid monthly, and we may make such payments and related interest payments in cash or, subject to certain conditions, in registered shares of our common stock, at its election. If we choose to repay the Notes in shares of its common stock, the shares will be issued at a 15% discount, based on the then-current market price data of our common stock. We may also repay the Notes in advance of the maturity schedule subject to early repayment penalties."

lolz... misleading potential investors??? hahahaha
That is why I post links with my DD. Any potential investors would do well to do their own DD and not buy or sell based on my non-insider thoughts and comments....
I cant do anything about what happened with G and Z. CAFC and SCOTUS boned us with G, and a lack of money to keep fighting Z boned us in the end on that case. Both suits were in our favor and we should have won, but we didn't. Nothing we can do about that now. What we can do, is focus on what we currently have in front of us which is Lowes and DTV.
Lowes - will likely settle just like Belkin, ADT, TYCO and the rest. Non-material and confidential.
DTV - Not going to repost info I posted earlier. No one is saying Vringo will get billions of dollars, but the settlement amount (IMHO) will be material. How big? No one knows. Could be anywhere from 1 - 5 million up to 15 - 25 million or more. All we know is that DTV will probably make close to 5 billion dollars in targeted ad revenue from 2013 - 2019 and the QS patents MAY be an integral part of that. Whether you choose to hold shares or not is entirely your decision.
If you read the complaint filed against direcTV in SDNY, and you read and fully understand both of the QS patents, you will see where DTV is in a tough spot. Look at the numbers involved and you will see where Vringo stands to make some decent money out of this. DTV annual revenue in 2014 was 33 Billion dollars with an estimated number of 35 Billion for 2015. Targeted ads will bring them close to 750 million dollars in 2016 and the QS patents are a problem for them. IMHO, the settlement will happen soon and will be worth a material amount to Vringo, which will require an 8-K just like the ZTE settlement did. All IMHO of course, but I have done tons of DD on this topic and most of it can be found on my blog. Here is some info:

The expectation is that DirecTV ad revenues will increase to $750 million by 2016, from $550 million at the end of this year.
