I remember months ago when I said a owner of a Ford dealer came to Steve looking for cars or money.
Was is WJ that said I'm going to get sued for defamation, (which was comical) to only find out he owes a couple hundred thousand to a Ford dealer.
Shocker!
I'm really curious to what is going to happen moving forward with deposits, and all the other massive debt.
It was posted on the Saleen Facebook. Saleen like here removes all the comments that they don't like.
The guy who posted it, had posted it twice so he may try again, who knows.
I copy and pasted the entire post word for word.
I didn't put a deposit on a car, I'm not stupid to trust Steve Saleen with 1 cent of my money after seeing what he did with my investment.
This was a post from their facebook page.
It's not an email, it was posted on the Saleen Facebook page. A defamation lawsuit, try to argue a defamation suit in court based on what you read on Facebook.
If Saleen took 1.1 million in customer deposits, I can only imagine what real lawsuits will come in the near future. Lawsuits against Saleen for taking deposits and never delivering cars.
Not a good look...Customer is looking for his $30,000.00 deposit.
It is with regret I write this mail, but in January 2013 I visited Saleen in California and met Steve for the first time in Person. At that time I owned two Saleen and loved the cars and wanted to meet him and see the new facilities as he was just getting back with the Saleen name. Steve was very generous and showed me the factory and told me lot of things about the new 351 Saleen that was in the pipes.
To make a long story short I decided to put in an order for the new 351 Saleen in February 2013 and paid a down payment of $30.000, they would use the car as a promotion car and I would get in delivered in January 2015, and they would keep the car for me until then.
Time passed and I met Steve two times and we never talked about the car and I never heard anything about the progress of the car. Then in September 2014 I asked if they could put the $30.000 I had paid towards the 2015 Saleen and that was no problem.
Then I thought this would be too much for me as I had two Saleens already so I asked for a refund of the $30.000.
Here is where the lies and trouble started. I have been in contact, well tried to be in contact with Derick Hall at Saleen and he started by telling me that they had already ordered the 2015 car so it would be had to refund me.
I asked how that would be possible as I had not given any information on the option or color of the car. Since then Derick has promised to look into the matter many times and talk to Steve about it, but nothing has happened.
So Saleen has screwed me up, and I feel that hard as I thought I was a good customer and I loved everything about Saleen. They sold me two cars and took $30.000 of me that looks like they have no intention to return to me. It looks like they are broke but still promotes new cars, but they don´t take care of there customers.
So beware of sending any money to Saleen, as if you change your mind they will not pay you back.
Sure thing....bro.
Please show me your master plan to successfully invest in a company that is bankrupt.
A strong buy? Please explain how a company that's beyond broke, 10's of millons in debt, getting sued from all directions for not paying bills is a good buy?
You'd think it's a pretty simple understanding. Apparently wj can't comprehend sense.
Ford won't honor a Saleen modified or warranty car, just like Telsa won't, Dodge and Chevy.
I am in the United States first off.
Once a car is modified by someone other than the original manufacturer, they no longer have to honor warranty.
A "good" attorney would agree with that. If you'd like to further discuss, you can stop by my office in Beverly Hills.
Oh ok, well as an attorney I disagree with you completely. The manufacturers can void the warranty once another party makes changes to the car that are not original or permitted by the original manufacturer.
Once the car is no longer original to the manufacturers specifications, caused by another party, the warranty is terminated.
But thanks anyway.
If an outside company tampers with anything on a car, that manufacturer can easily void the warranty. Why would they leave themselves liable for the possible damage caused by another company?
They're selling a Tesla bumper for $15,000!!!
Didn't Tesla cancel the Model S?
Why sell a 15k bumper for a canceled car?
Does anyone know if Saleen is still in business?
I'm good, I've lost plenty on this "company"
You keep saying this, yet the price goes nowhere but down.
What a terrible video. Very low quality.
Wasn't this filmed some time ago?
All this volume and "hope" this ship continues to sink!
Up, up and away? It's at 3 cent. Please explain how this is up, up and away. I could use a good laugh.
I think most of the volume is end of year tax dumping.
Comparing Tesla and Saleen is comical. Oil will go up and will continue to go up. If you can afford to drop 100k on a Saleen Mustang, your deciding factor isn't going to be fuel at $2.50 or $3 gallon.
Saleen is at .3 cents. I'd much rather have Tesla at $196.00
I highly doubt BMW would ever become involved with the scam known as SLNN.
I wouldn't buy a Saleen if gas was free.
Their track is default after default on every loan issued. There has got to be something going on, on the inside as to how/why companies continue to give Saleen any loans at all.
From a financial stand point, I wouldn't issue them a $1.00 loan based on their current financials and their ability to repay the loan.
I find it extremely troubling for anyone who has any financial association with Saleen. These are loans that are toxic and will only result in default and lawsuits.
I understand companies go through financial issues, but this is digging a bigger and bigger hole.
Please explain how Saleen plans to produce cars with 7k in cash, after taking 1M in deposits?
How will Saleen explain to customers that the deposits they made for their cars, were used elsewhere?
If I made a deposit and then the report comes out that Saleen only has 7k in cash, I'd be a very worried customer, demanding answers, my money or my car.
Wheels? A set of wheels is not really expensive. That car is old, they've had it for a couple years.
I'm sure Tesla can add sound to their car. I wouldn't really count this as a "one up" for Saleen, when in reality they wouldn't have the car or technology without Tesla.
Not a chance, Tesla is far to smart to provide financial assistance to a company that's in such terrible condition.
What a terrible video.
This "interview" was posted about a month ago and has 900 views. That's sad
Until Steve, Molly and their out of control spending is stopped and they are removed from the company, this stock and company will only fail.
"allegedly " in bad shape? They're beyond broke and in default to everyone they owe and they millions to a lot of people and banks.
The purchase of 1.1 million shares won't chip the mountain of debt this company has.
More cash for Steve and Molly to spend on whatever it is they spend investors money on.
All those deposits are now spent without cars to deliver. What was the deposit amount per car? Were these independent buyers or dealerships or both?
If I made a deposit and Saleen stole my money, I'd file suit immediately to try to recover at least something.
How can they get away with this? Using new money to cover old debts and investors payback is a ponzi scheme. This really looks like exactly what this is.
Admins: This is a SLNN related post. Stop deleting my posts because they don't promote SLNN.
Or they will pay a real Tesla, without the known Saleen headaches.
I agree, I was thinking about that as I was typing.
Sounds like he's bs'ing
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_automobile_manufacturers_of_the_United_States
There you go, they're not listed as a manufacturer.
Why does the link say "classic cars".
Comparing the marketing practices of Saleen to Ford is humorous, Ford is successful and wants nothing to do with Saleen.
