It's the USDCAD rate.
If USDCAD goes to 2.0, then 7USD of TWMJF will be 14CAD of CGC
Increase in volume is how a LP counteracts, efficiencies in processing. Since MJ has been illegal, as far as I know, there isn't factory level production. Imagine bales going into a hopper, automated batch cooking with large VATS monitored by a team.
Take a tour of a your local micro brew then jump on youtube to see a Budweiser factory. Two completely different operations. Those installations require tens of millions of financing, something CAD LP's are getting and the boys in US are locked out of.
Will there be artisinal, micro-grow producers? Sure but the future for this industry is clear.
I don't drink Budweiser but wish I was invested in a 170B market cap company at the ground floor.
Lower margins only hurt smaller producers.
USDCAD down. You have risk in both the stock and exchange rate

Yes....lots of funds can ONLY buy in an index, instead of cherry pick stocks.
This means there will be buys whether funds like/dislike MJ...and we're talking billion dollar pension funds.
Grandma's pension could be paying for your next car.
He punted. He stated he would enforce federal law IF he had the resources...but he doesn't.
Sessions Leaves Open Prosecuting Medical Marijuana Use, But Says 'It's a Problem of Resources'
Mr. Leahy's final line of questioning is about medical marijuana.
He asks whether Mr. Sessions would use the federal government to target medical marijuana operations that are legal under state law. Many states have allowed marijuana for either recreational or medical use, though it remains illegal under federal law. The Obama administration's policy is not to prosecute people for marijuana offenses when they are in compliance with state law.
"I won't commit to never enforcing federal law," Mr. Sessions says. He adds: "But absolutely, it's a problem of resources for the federal government."
They're saying a fridge...they don't mention the rave and all the DJ equipment. That probably didn't help.
People too concerned with trees and don't see the forests.

Amazon of weed. ??
Not entirely the same. That was in a medical market. This is in the soon to be rec. market. I would look at valuations of similarly sized LP and see what multiple they are trading at and use that as a yardstick. Not what 'prior' moves were.
They asked why do the deal now...why not wait until the task force's report is published and Bruce basically said the writing is on the wall and if he waited until all the details were known Mettrum would be a lot more expensive!
That bolds well...
Yea...no bids no asks
So predicts Gary Johnson...
He may be right, but this is speculation. As for Sessions, trump is the boss. He may want to use his political capital on bigger fish considering he can already see how the wind is blowing. It's not legalization...it's reclassification
Outside bullish engulfing candle and tested the 50 DMA on a daily and bounced off that. Big time reversal pattern no matter what theory of chart reading you follow.

This is the Tickle Me Elmo rush a couple of years ago. Call me Elmo.
Marketing is what sets a company apart from competition, not product. Doesn't hurt if product is good as well, but plenty of examples of where even inferior products outperform.
This bulled up into earnings? Whomever is buying these big chunks is supremely confident that after earnings the top is going to blow off. I hope they are right.
Giuliani or Christie become AG. That won't help. This helps CGC and all Canadian growers. Keeps the Tobacco big boys from revving up their infrastructure. If MJ comes to more states across the nation after this election, then maybe on the Federal level. But this gives CGC more lead time.
These are same guys who said it was frothy....33% ago

On USDCAD? Nothing. Not enough volume. CCY markets are at a whole different level. One of those scale things you don't imagine until it's put side by side, like national debt.
Daily volume of ALL stock markets in the world - 90 billion
Daily volume of Forex - 4 trillion
This.
June 2015 Bedrocan deal
Oct 2015 Trudeau wins
Bedrocan merger in June was the right move.
Absolutely. This is growth stock, not a value stock.
If your story turns bad, the market will punish you. Look at Twitter. Revenue increased EVERY quarter. Stock is now down 40% for the year. Still, a 15B company.
Another round strong maybe. They couldn't care less about burn rate as long as you tell a great story. Tesla anbody?
This entire sector is going bonkers. Happy to be in Canopy, but this isn't a Canopy move. Something bigger is going on here, wish I knew what.
Your own ego and sphere of knowledge makes you believe you have it all figured out. You have a piece of the puzzle but you're missing the entire picture.
Bud vs. Sam Adams
Sam Adams makes better beer. No doubt. 2B mkt cap.
Bud is piss water. 200B mkt cap.
Those aren't opinions, those are facts.
I don't feel like going into the details with you, but when you figure out why, you will figure out why you are wrong.
Doesn't matter. These things are always forward looking guidance. Ever see a company beat rev. then drop? Or miss rev and rise? It's all their FY guidance and beyond.
Nice spin. Tweed selling out is bad. They can't produce enough because demand is high is bad. People are going to the street (which is still illegal) to get their MMJ. News flash, people were going to the street to get their MMJ for decades. By your logic, why would people even buy from any MMJ producer in the first place? Are you surprised they even sold any MMJ in the first place? Oh wait, they sold out. When back in stock, they will sell out again. I don't see this as a problem.
I think the biggest red flag was reading:
"First, the ministry announced new regulations for medical cannabis (MMPR) which, if they are not stopped, will shut down all personal production and caregiver assisted production of our medicine."
This is not a red flag. Shutting down patient and caregiver prod. is what you, an investor in any MMJ Grow Op, wants. HC and Gov cannot control quality of home grown. They cannot control supply of home grown. They cannot control where/when of home grown (ie: in the house next to a school). Most important of all, THEY CANNOT CONTROL TAX REVENUE OF HOME GROWN.
The faster they shut down private home producers, the better. Demand isn't going away, but supply is.
I used California numbers not because I was confused, but pop numbers are similar. Not unrealistic to assume that two similar bodies of population would have same amount of medical MJ patient usage. As for actual persons, if the number of patients is 550,000 you can bet plenty of that licensed only for medical use finds it's way into non licensed hands.
Here are actual CA numbers, not estimates.

Bills numbers aren't far off and acceptance of MJ is much different now than in 1996.
