Excellent post Samsa... shows a highly inquisitive mind... guess they finally got the dosage right, hah... LOL.
Neither you nor I have any definitive answers... but I think your guess work is good... hopefully we can play off of each other's intuition to narrow down the possibilities.
If you recall... when the China "thing" fist came to light... I was quite verbal and concerned about what was happening and whether something "nefarious" was going on... but I think Patient addressed that amply in the telecast - IPCI has a strong "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics" overseen by the board of directors.
That focused a lot of things for me and assured me that all of the "bullshit" that is posted here is, although unwittingly posted... never-the-less... a lot of BULLSHIT.
Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
Purpose and Application
The board of directors (the "Board") of IntelliPharmaCeutics International Inc. (the "Company") has adopted this Code of

conduct, its business in accordance with such high ethical standards.
The Code constitutes written standards that are reasonably designed to promote integrity and to deter wrongdoing.

collectively as "Company Personnel").

Director - Chairman
I will conceive that they could do a better job of this part
but must also be seen to conduct, its business in accordance with such high ethical standards.
Kenneth is the one you should address with your eMails if you feel Odidi is more interested in feathering his own nest as opposed to advancing IPCI.
In my vision of where IPCI is going... this man fits in perfectly.
Andrew Patient, B.Actg, CPA, CA
Chief Financial Officer

In fact... I think the whole leadership team is well rounded and put together.

I have accounts with Ameritrade - they have apps like Think or Swim which I use and keep track of about 50 stocks and level 2 and last sales on 8 of them - because that's as many as I can reasonably fit on my monitor - also I can transfer cash from my acct to my bank or vice versa overnight... eTade took 2 days.
But best of all - they have an app called Gains Keeper that makes doing my taxes at the end of the year a breeze.
we now return you to your regular programming.
what country are you from tilator?
ROFLMAO - I was looking at a stock yesterday - forgot which... but it is 103% owned by institutions... ROFLMAO.
So... even if there were ZERO retail owners of the stock... it would still mean that 3% of it is naked shorted.
I don't think it has anything to do with a broker whether or not they lend out your stock... but rather it has to do with your account.
If you have a margin account then you can bet your A$$ they are lending out your stock... especially if they are getting 20, 30, 40% on it... but if it's a CASH account then they CAN NOT lend your shares out without your permission.
IRAs... Roth or SEP can only be a cash accounts... personal accounts can be either or.
You can turn a margin account to a cash account anytime you want to... but of course if you do, all stocks must be fully paid for.
But after all is said and done... I don't believe they honor those rules... if they have a stock that they can lend out in any account I believe they will.
Hell... some brokers even lend out stock they don't have - you know - Naked Shorting... and I think most, if not all do it.
If I had $10 million dollars... I would approach Odidi with an offer to take it private now... and the way his "first round" investors speak of him... I'm not sure he wouldn't accept.
Sentencing tomorrow
Facts become history... history becomes fables... fables become myths... myths become legend.
It seems to me that up until today... the China curriculum was seen as a positive thing for IPCI and all it's shareholders.
What has happened that seems to have changed your mind???
Another typical day on the IPCI message board ... nothing but shorts spreading FUD in order to bring the price down.
Somewhat off topic
"Pharma Bro" Martin Shkreli (SHKREL'-ee) has written a letter to a judge asking for leniency and admitting that he was wrong and a fool.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/pharma-bro-asks-judge-for-leniency-saying-he-was-a-fool/ar-BBJIumZ?li=BBnbfcL&ocid=spartandhp
Saw a documentary on this A$$ &%#^ what a disgusting excuse of a human being... I hope the judge takes the sentence time... and multiplies it by 5000%!!!
Seems like total market for Seroquel XR has dropped from $1.2 billion to $557 million now that it has gone generic.
Lamictal XR @ $531 million and Prestiq @ $582 million are already genericized... so total market for these 3 generic drugs is $1.67 BILLION.
Each percentage point equals $16.7 million x a 30% royalty basis equals $5 million revenue to IPCI per %age point.
For gods sake... 2.5% penetration makes us profitable.
It's just a matter of time... HANG IN THERE!!!
Updated Spread Sheet - Open for interpretation.
Seems like we settled into a rather mediocre sales performance.
Would be great if someone could utilize the data and ascertain a royalty percentage for Seroquel XR... if 30% to 40% then our woes can be readily fixed within one quarter IF MNK performed for us as well as they do for themselves... one quarter of sales where MNK captures their rightful share... which in my opinion is approx. 10% ... and we'd be off to the races.
They (MNK) are up over $5.00 a share in 15 minutes - that's $500 million market cap added - now if they would only take 40% of today's market cap gain and make an offer Odidi couldn't refuse.
I wouldn't mind an all stock offer.
WOW!!!
Mallinckrodt Reports Q4 EPS $2.01 vs $1.69 Est., Sales $792M vs $774M Est
They have 95 million shares so a profit of almost $200 million for the quarter.
Let's see... IPCI has ~ 40 million fully diluted shares - so $5.00 a share would be just about right.
No reason to even speculate on delisting NOW - because mid march they can apply for a 6 month extension... and I see absolutely no reason what-so-ever why they would not be granted that.
Six months in the life of an emerging biotech can be transformational.
Just as it has gone from $3+ to 60 cents... it can as readily go from 60 cents to $3+...
Furthermore... everyone here knows that, which is why they are still here... or they would be gone!!!
Thanxs Fabius
Have numbers plugged in... but need sale #s also for the below.
last numbers I have on the TRX numbers are Dec 8th @ 639 and Dec 15th @ 648
